Unfortunately, it only really works for the cold, calculating kind of villain. You can be insane, but not manic: you can't be the frothing-at-the-mouth type of villain. Despite that, it's still a brilliant song for a villain to make an entrance to, especially if you're of the completely evil, sold-your-soul-to-the-devil variety.
