Miss Glados, Ryan, Alice and Yoshi were all up on the mountaintop, watching the battle below. Finally, Miss Glados had enough. "YOSHI! Mr Shrike is getting badly betean up out there! We need to do something!" Yoshi looked up and nodded. "Yes, and I have the perfect idea for a distraction to give our friends the upper hand. Miss Glados, cna you modify your turret into a weapon?"
"Yes. I think a bazooka would be efficient here."
"Alright! I'll be back in a little bit, I need to fetch something from my dimension. I'll be right back!" And with that, Yoshi summoned a pipe and jumped in, disappearing.

A Little Bit Later
Green lantern Chell had just thrown up her barrier when Miss Glados finished her 'modifications' to the turret. It was now a rather dangerous looking bazooka, and she hefted it onto her shoulder, preparing to fire at Chell. However, a pipe appeared directly infront of her and she fell backwards in surprise. A deep rumbling sound could be heard from the pipe, and Yoshi came flying out of it, riding a sports bike! He landed on the ground next to Miss Glados, revving the engine loudly. Yoshi offered his hand to the little girl with the big gun, and she took it. "Ready for some epic ass kicking?" Yoshi asked.

"Lets go be big damn hero's Yoshi!" Miss Glados said, as music began to play in the background, from where nobody knew.

Yoshi nodded, flinging Miss Glados up behind him onto the bike's pillion seat. He revved the bike again, and took off at the edge! The bike flew off the end of the mountaintop, sailing ina graceful arc towards the battle below, and Chell's energy barrier to be precise. Yoshi grabbed Miss Glados and threw her forwards at a tremendous speed, and she aimed downwards at Chell from her position above and behind the barrier! Yoshi then let go of the bike, flipping off it in a perfect Matrix maneouver. The bike crashed into Chell's barrier, exploding and destroying it completely! Yoshi landed next to Isaac and Shrike, an egg in his hand, ready to fight. Chell looked at him amazed. "WHERE DID YOU COME FROM GREEN DINOSAUR??? AND HOW DID YOU KILL MY BARRIER!!!" She screamed. Chell didn't get to say anymore, because a rocket landed right behind her, blasting her up into the air. Miss Glados landed right where Chell was standing, and coolly took aim at Chell for another shot.

"Would you like to go dancing with the angels, Chell?" She said, and then fired again, the missile streaking towards the now falling Chell.

"Shanghai, are you getting bored?" asked Alice. The doll nodded.

"Well I'd say that green girl is overwhelmed enough as is, so let's go bother that other villain," motioning towards Stig. They floated down the size of the mountain in no hurry at all. Besides with more rest, maybe the fight will be more fun.

The pair finally made it down to Stig who was about to rush back into the fray.

"Oh hello there sir, would you be interested in spending some quality time with me?"

The pilot just turned ha head and kept moving.

"Not much of a talker huh?" Several knife wielding dolls peered out of her bag, ready for a reaction from the Stig.

Despite only being skeletal, the Stig gave her a look that showed his annoyance. He whipped out his gun to get the point across.

"Oh now you're interested. Well then, have some fun,"The dolls set up in formation around the pair.

The Stig was just getting ready to even the score with that walking junk heap when a little girl got in his way, he never was one to hit kids but he was ready to take it up.
Then, Grimm walked up and ruined things. "Hold it, you already had your chance and blew it Top Gear, time for a real man to do this work" he said as he ran up to a doll and kicked it into another, prompting them to explode and send him corkscrewing through the air.
Well, Grimm did manage to give him a proper warning before blasting off team rocket style.

And, she used exploding dolls. Some kind of common ground between the two, he decided to let her have the first move and was ready to react at what the runt could throw at him.

"I don't want to hurt you too much, you look like I could snap you in half, and especially your little dolls," he said with a growl. Shanghai began to tremble at Stig's last statement and retreated to behind the front lines. However, she stayed close to Alice, ready to protect her master.
"Time for some... fun then, because I'm not nearly as fragile as you look."

"Such a pretty star he made," said Alice as she sent a ring of magical energy towards Grimm.

"I'd say he did," replied Grimm dodging the ring and firing Stig's revolver at her.

"I haven't had such a fun time dodging in years." A sweeping beam swept along the ground in front of Grimm. He misjudged the jump and was knicked in the foot. Strangely it didn't hurt, he just felt a little bit tired.

The battle went on like this for awhile. Some tiring magic, dodge some bullets, get punched by Grimm a few times. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Another weak magical attack came his way, but this time he didn't lose any stamina. This wasn't a good sign.

"You're gonna need to do more than shoot fairy dust if you want to get through me. I fight to kill," he ran towards her and kicked her into the wall. His attacks were becoming intensely painful. Just as she was about to lose it, she blinded him with the spell she she used in the hospital. Quickly, Alice collected herself and stood up, with more fire in her eyes than before.

"I don't like to fight with all of my power. But if you want me to get lethal I will, and look a nice little bottle of fairy dust." she called, sprinkling some on a doll. It instantly froze. She surrounded it with a ring of flames and sent the kamikaze at her opponent. At the same time she sent a wave of magical bullets towards him and the dolls began to charge.

Chell was beating the everloving crap out of Miss Glados, and Yoshi was on his knees in shock. Yoshi could feel his rage building. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWRRR! CHELL!!! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" Yoshi screamed. He then began to glow bright yellow, as if he was going super saiyan. "YOSHI RAGE COUNTER! ATTACK!" The ball of energy around Yoshi increased and glowed so brightly no one could see inside. Then, a flash of bright yellow light knocked everyone down, and intsead of Yoshi, there were 4 Yoshis! One Yellow, One Red, one Green and one Purple. And they were pissed.

Chell stopped beating up Miss Glados and looked over at the assembled Yoshi's. Miss Glados looked up and saw them, her saviours. "Hey Chell, here come my Angels. Fear them." Miss Glados said, then she fainted. Chell could only say one thing before the Yoshi's charged her. "Oh Shit." The the ultra beatdown began.

The four Yoshi's were upon Chell in an instant. Chell grabbed Purple, but then Green hit her in the face whilst Red tripped her. Chell let go of Purple, who then jumped and did a groundpound onto Chell, winding her. Chell struggled to her feet, only to be met by Yellow, who ran up and roundhouse kicked Chell IN THE FACE! Chell was knocked to the ground again, and she gasped. "NOT YELLOW!!! ARGH!!!" She screamed as her powers left her. The Yoshi's didn't stop their attack though. Green kicked Chell up into the air, and Purple began to combo punch her, Street Fighter style, before kicking her down to the ground, where Yellow grabbed her and threw her at Red. Red had grabbed a baseball bat, and smacked Chell into the side of the mountain, satisfaction on his face. Green wasn't done though. He picked up Chell's dazed body, and threw her at Yellow. Yellow jumped up and roundhouse kicked Chell, sending her to the bottom of the mountain, tumbling and broken.

The Yoshi's all ran over to Miss Glados, but Shrike had beaten them there. The Yoshi's all looked on in sorrow. They weren't fast enough. Miss Glados was dead. The Yoshi's all hugged each other and reformed into Yoshi. "Can you save her Shrike?"
"Yes, but it wil be hard M. Yoshi. I will be back." Shrike said, his body forming a protective and invulnerable shell around Miss Glados before his soul disappeared into the void which binds, taking Miss Glados's soul with him. Yoshi waited, ready to defend the spot with his life.

"I'm riding a gopher" he says then he disappear.
"DINASOUR! Why WHy do you protect that monster, GLaDOS is evil beyond comprehension. You're a hero, do what heroes do and kill it."

Glados had a strange sensation of floating, but technically she couldn't feel sensation in this metaphysical world, but yet she felt it anyway. She was floating in a strange place that felt dark, but all around her she heard leaves fluttering in the wind, the sound of bird calls, children laughing. But underneath it she heard this almost inhuman voice chanting, quietly yet darkly.

"Hello? Yoshi?? Mr. Shrike?? Is anyone out there?" When no answer came, Miss Glados despaired. All she remembered was Chell, pain, and then darkness. But now she was here where ever here was.

Then she felt, or sensed, it. A glowing Angel approached, with wings of silver, and calm blue eyes, hands soft, and four arms all extended revealing the palm of his hands.


"Who are you?..." Murmured Glados, she was frightened, but yet glad to know she wasn't alone, this had been the first time she was alone. The Angel nodded as if expecting this "I understand if you don't recognize me, I'm a little different in this world" the four arms reached out and hugged Miss Glados. Upon the two making contact she felt something she hadn't felt since she became human.

"Shrike!!" She said now holding the Shrike tight. "I was so scared! I'm confused, what?s happening?"

The Shrike turned his face away, his blue eyes dimming sadly. "The battle became very intense, and Chell upon recognizing you murdered you." the pain in his voice was unmistakeable.

"I... Died...." She said, utterly shocked. "And now what happens? Did you die too?" Asked Miss Glados very anxious and distraught.

"I didn't die, and right now you're safe. I brought you to the Void Which Binds. Since I made you a quantum AI you will be forever tied to this place, but I never had the chance to give you this." said the Shrike, stepping away from the embrace.

The Shrike held all four of his hands, cupping them and blue energy began to gather there, and soon it created a strange looking object.

"OOHH!! A NEW HAIR CORE!!" Squealed Miss Glados looking at the new core the Shrike had created.

It was white, with blue and gold trims; it had Angel wings on it sides.

"Yes a new core" said the Shrike, he took out Miss Glados's Morality core, and put in the new core.

Instantly Miss Glados saw she was standing in a meadow, with green glass and patches of clover all around. The Sky was a blue she had only ever saw on screen savers. The Shrike stood in his Angelic grace.

"Now you are forever binded to the Void Which Binds. You will be able to draw power from it, and it will draw knowledge from you. Everything you see around you, has been seen from all sentient life that is connected to the Void. You're memories will engrave this land. The good" he said as the landscape drastically changed to baked earth covered with strange humanoid creatures with wings, and tails, hugging assault rifles to their chest, but all were dead, with lacerations all over them, the Shrike no longer a angel but his frightful form. "and the bad"

"But now Glados, it's time for us to leave this place" He said reaching out his serrated hand to Miss Glados. She reached out and took his hand and, they stepped forward and into light.

The dome the Shrike created re-morphed into the Shrike who stood angry, and beside him.....

"MISS GLADOS!!" Said Yoshi approaching her for a hug. "Oh you're morality core its... Different" he said looking at the quick silver on chrome core that looked like a tangled mass of razor wire with a glowing red eye in the center of it.

"Why don't we kill her?" Said the Shrike stepping forward between Chell and the new Miss Glados. "Because she isn't what she use to be, she is connected to something bigger than all of you." The Shrike balled one of his hands into a fist. "AND THIS IS FOR MURDERING HER" The Shrike leapt into quick time ran in front of Chell excited to watch the shock in Chells eyes and sent her flying into a rock wall where it exploded into dust.

"AND I WILL DESTROY YOU" the Shrike now bared down on her like a demon heading to the dust cloud.

"All that I am today all the madness is her fault." Scream Chell. "I will have vengeance, I am Chell, I am Green Lantern of SECTOR AA and I am going to destroy you all with my own two hands the same way GLaDOS destroyed me.

She Creates a giant hammer and slams it into the two heroes and their bet demon AI.
"This is for the years in captivity
She slams again
"this is for my family."
She slams again
"This is for The Companion cube"
The hammer is now shaped like a giant cake
"AND THIS IS FOR THE CAKE, YOU HORRID MONSTER!"

The Shrike was sick of this. He went into fast time once more, he carefully picked up Yoshi and Miss Glados and moved them out of the way oncomming cake hammer. He then went over to Isaac and took his Yellow scarf, he then took postion behind chell, and wraped the scarf around her neck and took it in both of his hands.

He left fast time and watched the cake hammer hit the ground. He then began to strangle Chell

"NO ONE TOUCHES MY MISS GLADOS!!! EAT YELLOW SCARF!!!" He said cutting off chell's airways pulling her agiasnt his serrated chest.

The Stig looked upon the chaos that was ensuing, everyone was in a fight. And he was prone to finish the job. There is something at top of this mountain and he was damned if he wasnt going to find it. Vengeance and aid for the others can wait, he will do what they came here to in the first place and [A]scend to the peak.

"Boss, what's going on" # 13 asked when he saw The Stig heading up the path quickly, The Stig just pushed him along, he may need him at some point up ahead. Maybe to set off a trap or something. He continued up the mountain path, the entire place was shaking with the resonance of the villains and heroes clashing below him, there was another large ring of clouds onscuring the absolute top from view and he was about to enter them. # 13 didnt dare utter a word at this point, the entire battlefield could be seen now and he could just barely pick out the combatants before they were lost. They wandered in the clouds for some time, both narrowly avoiding falling and being dashed to pieces below more than once.

Finally, the path gave way to ancient marble stairs. It was a sign that they had reacher their destination. # 13 was filled with fear and awe as they climbed them, The Stig's eyes were glowing a sharp, inhuman yellow visible even through his sunglasses as he steadily climbed the steps one at a time as reached the top and saw...

Ruins.

Shattered building and broken pathways of what looked to be a once glorious place...

"I am so sick of that guy!" screamed the Shirke.

The battle field was emptying out. Most of the villains had fled, and his allies although bruised, were alive. The Shrike carefully began to regenerate his shoulder where the RPG had hit him, and was picking off pieces of singed Chell of his chest.

"This went not as expected." Groaned the Shrike.

"Well then" Said the Shrike looking to his allies. "Maybe it's a good time to tell you all something, I've been considering for a while."

"I have to leave." Said the Shrike solemnly.

"But... Why... Where?" Said Yoshi, he clenched his fists and looked at the Shrike in shock.

"Back to my home dimension." The Shrike looked off into the distant sky as he said that.

"The Void Which Binds?" Said Miss Glados

"No. That may be where my persona resides, but my home is in my universe. Where humanity faces its last stand against the AI horde." The Shrike turned back to his friends "I need to thank you all, you have given me the strength and will I need to go back to my time dimension and pick the side that I believe in, the side where my heart resides."

With that the Shrike took a small step backwards, his spikes began to smoke and disappear.

"Will you come back" Said little Ryan running towards the Shrike. "Without you we won't have anyone to take a shit load of beatings!!!"

The Shrike's eyes seemed to glow in a happy fashion. "I think you guys can manage without me. But I will return. Look for me. Christmas Eve..... 9 O clock... North American pacific time!"

His lower body had now trailed off into smoke, and his lower set of arms were beginning to dissolve.

"Keep safe my friends" He said looking at all of his friends and allies, "and Yoshi, take good care of Miss Glados for me"

Soon the smoke had reached his head and he disappeared, his red eyes one with the crimson sunset behind him.

A single tear flowed down Yoshi's cheek as he watched his friend disappear. "I will. Good luck, and good hunting." He whispered to the sun as Shrike finally disappeared. Miss Glados stood firm, but cried openly. "Goodbye big brother! Come back soon!" She sobbed, happy yet sad for the Shrike. Yoshi looked around at the Hero's. "I don't know what to do now, and I must keep Miss Glados safe. I've got a friend who owns a small pub in Australia, he owes me one, so I reckon that all the Hero's should head off to my mate's pub to regroup and figure out what we're doing next. I'll leave the pipe open for you all." Yoshi nodded at the Hero's, lost for any more words. He summoned a pipe from the ground, and walked into it.

The small pub on the outskirts of Longreach, Queensland was empty. It's regular patrons had all stopped going the week before, and the owner was about to close the doors for the last time when a pipe shot up from the ground. Yoshi jumped out, followed by Miss Glados. The owner and barman, Tom, did a double take before walking over to greet Yoshi. "It's been to long Tom. Can you keep the bar open for a bit longer?"
"Sure can Yoshi. What brings you out to these parts?" replied Tom the barman.
"I just needed to relax in a safe place and gather my thoughts. I might have some friends coming along too."

Yoshi, Miss Glados and Tom walked into the bar, the cool Longreach night sky drifting above them, the stars twinkling in all their glory.

Ok, so Roamin11 has left the AA, the Villians have been defeated on Mt Olympus and the Hero's don't have a quest. Everyone can meet up at the pub and decide what to do and where to go from there. If anyone is reading this and would like to join, now is the perfect time. So roll up your sleeves, pick a side and start posting!

The frozen doll shattered against Grimm's chest, chilling him. The fire soon followed, igniting the scattered gunpowder and creating a multitude of minor explosions around him. The dolls flew straight into the smoke, blades at the ready. The bullets Alice shot arced inwards towards the center, but he was already out of harms way. Only slightly scratched and bruised with a few burnt hairs, he was still going strong. The dolls realizing their mistake, flew to him to attack. He effortlessly punched them towards Alice, the heat incinerating them as they neared her.

"Oh I forgot, I'm invincible. I think your little outburst sort of deflates now that you know that."

Alice was in genuine fear for her life. She was prepared to attack with her most powerful magic, but what's the point if her target won't die? She looked up the mountain path, but her allies were noticeably absent, all that was left was... That's it!

"You know, this is fun and all, but I'm exhausted. I think quality time is over now. Don't you?"

"Oh, I'm ready to spend as much time as I possibly can with you. Now come back and show me everything you possibly can. I promise I won't kill you, [small]quickly that is[/small]."

"But I must be going now, my friends are probably worried about me. So I'll just..." her last words grew too faint to hear as she flew away from Grimm and towards the pipe. She looked back and saw a doll in his hands, with a string tied to its back, a flame burning at the tip. Alice's eyes grew in horror as the puppet was thrown upwards. She moved to dodge it, but there was no need.

"That was terrible aim, unless--!" she looked up, "The pipe! Shanghai, shoot it down!" The laser knocked the doll off course just enough that it would not destroy her destination. It exploded harmless in the air.

"C'mon, let's get away from here," she said as the pair sank down into the pipe. Everything went black until she came out in a familiar place.

"Glad to have ye back," called the bartender.
