The Escapist Avatar Adventure: An Open RP (Now Re-Opened!)

Ryan had an idea he stood alone directly in front Frank's copy, which was charging with the speed of a Freight Train.
"Wait for it." Ryan said as the tank got closer
"Wait for it" he repeated the tank was now 12 feet away
"Wait for it." the tank was now barley 3 feet away
"NOW" with lightning speed he sidestepped out of the way, causing the Frank-Tank to hit a wall
Ryan walked away dusting off his hands.
"Well that was easy what's next?"
CRACK
Ryan turned and saw the Tank wrench its head out of the wall.
"Nice going Ryan you just pissed off the giant monster. Got any more brilliant idea's?' asked GLaDOS.

 

[Sgt_Jakeman214]

"Erm, no not really." Ryan replied to Miss Glados. "Well, actually, I have got one. Sam killed his iSelf. So Frank probably has to kill the iFrankTank. lol, its the Frankentank!"
"Right. Lame joke aside, does that mean that we have to let Frank kill it while we stand around and look at our feet?" Alice asked, disappointed at having to go through another fight where her powers were unable to do any damage to the enemy. Sam dodged another charge of the Frankentank, and looked over at the group. "Nope. We are a team of heros, and shall help each other as a team!"
"Oh, in that case then...." Miss Glados cheerily said as she fired her bazooka into the Frankentank's face. The Frankentank stood still, a little blue swirl above its head. "Quick, now whilst my stun is still in effect! GANK IT!" Miss Glados yelled. The hero's looked at her in amazement. "What? I just started playing DoTA! Now, hit it before... Oh nevermind."

The Frankentank snorted and bellowed, ready to charge again.

[Sam G]

"Well, this wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but... yeah, I s'pose there's no reason why you lot shouldn't have doubles as well!" Sam said, hopping onto the Frankentank's back and attempting to garrote it. "I mean... I could make this fit in with the story I had planned, as well! Like, maybe the iSam made a bunch of clones of you lot, or something! I could make that work!" The Tank swung from side to side, attempting to dislodge Sam, and he yanked his shoelaces tighter around its' monstrous neck. "Or maybe, using their combined reality-warping powers, all the other mes split open a hole in time and brought out a bunch of variations of you lot from different time periods! Hey, Frank, maybe this is you from the future!" Sam waved at Frank, releasing his garrote with one hand, and the Frtank took this oppurtunity to reverse into a wall, crushing Sam and forcing to him to release his grip. Sam rose to his feet, limbered up and continued. "Or maybe, uh, there's some sort of parallel universe in which you're the acting leader of the Heroes, and I'm a Chaotic Neutral who comes and goes on a whim, and in this universe a number of variants of you banded together, and one of them has the power to hop between dimensions!" Sam dodged the monstrosity's clumsy blows and bonked it in the face with an aluminium bat.

Hey, "The Variants". I like that," the reasonably-darkly-clad Sam said, surveying the carnage on a CCTV screen.
"Uh... shouldn't one of us be going down there to slay them all, or something?" The leaderish-type asked, spinning casually on an office chair.
"Nah, that wierd monster-thing seems to be doing fine. Maybe he'll thin out their numbers a bit, make them a little easier to destroy. I'll set up my stage once they're done with him." The dark one flicked some dust off his shirt, then changed the channel on the TV. Scrubs was on.

"Hey hey heey, bad LamFrankTank!" Frank waved a finger angrily at the monster, it turned around and was about to attack when Frank gave it a hug. The herores went "awww" at the sight as the Trank hugged him back, until Frank turned the beast around and disembowled it, sending mess everywhere. "That's the only way to kill a Fratank, bend it over and- "We get the idea!" Sam cut him off.

"Let's just go into this cave, we'll probably find exactly who we're looking for. Although I can't remember why we're looking for the iYou's, Sam," Alice suggested, anything to get away from that vomit enducing sight and smell of entrails.

"You saw Abstract Sam, they're trying to kill me. They're trying to kill all of us. Is that reason enough for you?"

"I know that, but why? Why would they be so aggressive towards us, especially to the person that they represent?"

"Look," Frank said getting between them, "we'll find out in time as to why we're being targeted. That's all we know, and that should suffice for now."

"You're right," they replied. "I mean we have the power of plot on our side," added Sam.

They entered the cave. It felt unnatural and disquieting. The walls were too smooth to be carved out by nature, but there was nothing to suggest that man had carved the walls. Their footsteps echoed in odd directions. The light of the outdoors never seemed to disappear although no lighting system appeared to exist. The air was heavy and tasted bitter in the Heroes' mouths.

"Oh Sam, you don't understand at all," said the leaderish Sam.

"Sir," a figure stepped from the shadows, "Should I welcome our guests?" She gestured towards the screen that the Sam was watching?"

"Yes you may. I expect nothing less than complete success from you. You've been here a short while, but you have already become someone I can trust with such important matters. Just don't foul up like Abstract Sam did."

"As you wish, sir." The figure turned and left the room, a flying silhouette behind her with a noose around its neck.

 

[Isaac The Grape]

Suddenly, three nondescript characters appeared. After taking a brief look around, they decided to do some more research on their location before interacting with anything. So they temporally stopped existing.

"So, here we are, travelling into enemy territory so that we can defeat our iSelves?" Miss Glados asked no one in particular.
"Yep!" replied Sam.
"But who, and why? Why is someone creating, or finding, these iSelves to come and kill us? Who is responsible?"
Alice chipped into the conversation. "Maybe one of the villians has a plan that involves them. Who knows, really?"

The group continued to walk further into the cave. They didn't notice that they were being followed by a small figure with an even smaller flying shadow behind it.

"I've been waiting for you. Especially Alice."

They turned, and saw a very young looking Alice.

"You reopened the Grimoire Alice. You freed your powers that you swore to never use. You released me Alice and then left me to fend for myself."

"I'm sorry, I needed to protect myself."

"I don't care, you left a child alone and now, I'll make sure you are alone. In death." she pulled Alice's Grimoire from her hands with her magic. "And I have some help."

The flying figure revealed itself. It was a doll like Shanghai, but with a depressed expression and a noose around its neck.

"Hanged Hourai dolls, they're real," Alice whispered to herself. "Shanghai, stay back, this is too dangerous for you!" The doll shook her head and moved to protect her master.

Miss Glados stood beside Alice and Shanghai, her turret transformed into her bazooka once more. "We're all here with you!" She said as Frank, Sam, Isaac and Vanessa all moved up behind Alice, weapons at the ready. "Everyone, FIRE!" Miss Glados shouted, and missiles, magic and fireblasts erupted forth from the hero's, aimed at iAlice. Explosions flamed around the little girl, and the hero's waited for their enemy's response.

Everything hit. She stood there as the smoke blew away as if nothing has happened.

"Oh I hope the spellcard rules aren't in effect outside of the border," Alice moaned.
"Is that a bad thing? I mean, I've seen you use spellcards before," asked Sam.
"Well if she can, and she does then we've officially labeled ourselves as the attackers and her as the defender since we made the first move. Just don't get hit by a too much. It's worse for us than for her. She'll just recover until she has nothing left."

Young Alice was listening in on the conversation.

"Interesting, let's test if her theory is right," she wondered. "Forbidden R!"

A flash of light and three platforms grew from the ground. A wave of flame incinerated the ground. The heroes jumped up to safety as the flames rose up and rotated around them.

"Alice, I'm the power you locked away. And you sealed off so much for me. I'm stronger than you and I have the Grimoire back. You have no chance!"

"I don't need that power or that old book to defeat you. I have friends, something I never had in Makai! Friends that will protect me and help me!"

"Alice that was a bit cheesy." said Miss GLaDOS.

 

[Orinon]

Ryan morphed his left arm into a rocket launcher. The man in the black suit appeared in the shadows casually showing Ryan the naginata it was reserved for him if he broke the agreement.
Ryan, without taking his eyes off the man, aimed the rocket launcher at the ceiling he then screamed
"Fire in the hole" as a warning he then fired the rocket which hit the cave ceiling as he had planned the explosion caused a cave in, several tons of rock would fall upon young Alice.
The man shrugged it wasn't exactly breaking the rules so turned to the shadows and disappeared.
"Yeah you do have good friends" agreed Ryan as they watched Little Alice stare at the avalanche of rocks falling to meet her.

As the rocks neared younger Alice, the flames rotated to meet the Heroes. Lolice* sent a wave of fireballs towards the debris, shattering the rocks, but she became vulnerable.

"Quick, she's open, someone hit her!" yelled Alice.

Miss GLaDOS' rocket hit its mark. Lolice was flung across the cave into a wall a full force. Before she touched the ground, Alice's dolls sliced at her body and sent her flying again. Sam loosed several shots from a blaster he found in his bag. She landed with a thud, incredibly weak. But she rose once more in perfect condition.

"You're stronger than I thought. But flames are so weak anyway. Now try this! Forbidden G!"

Another flash of light and several orbs lined the ceiling. No one knew what would happen, until a bolt of lightning from a faraway orb nearly fried Alice.

[small]* Lolice or loli Alice is the nickname for PC-98 Alice, whom this fight is centered on. The spellcards are based off her attacks in Mystical Chain[/small]

 

[Sam G]

"...Damn it, I've never played Touhou..." Sam muttered. "She's got to have a weakness though, hasn't she? Hey, you lot, keep her distracted!" Sam reached into his bag and pulled out a wireless laptop. Searching online for a free Touhou download, Sam quickly found one and spent the few minutes it took for it to download dodging Lolice's attacks. When at last the game downloaded, Sam signalled to his team and they formed a wall between him and the evil Alice. Young Alice continued to blast attacks at the group, but each was intercepted by either Ryan's blade, Glados's missiles, Alice's lasers or some other defensive manouver. Feeling secure in the hands of his team, Sam flexed his fingers and started to play.

2 HOURS LATER...

"Bloody hell, this game's hard!" Sam cried, still struggling against the first boss. The Heroes were starting to tire, but the younger Alice was still on top form, firing flame after flame at her enemies.
"Sam, how much longer?" Alice asked, her clothes ripped and her hair falling messily over her face.
"Ugh, I dunno... screw it, I'll watch an LP or something," Sam mumbled, exiting the game window and heading onto YouTube.

"Look, just wait until she sends a huge wall of lightning at one us. Everyone spread out! And for gods' sakes Sam, why did you start with Lunatic?"

"I wanted to prove that I'm awesome."

"If you want to be awesome, then stop looking like a fool and get to work!"

The wall of electricity came straight for Alice again. Part of it electrocuted her foot, sending her into the cavern's walls in extreme pain. Ryan had the perfect chance to take Lolice by surprise.

"Get her, please, and don't let up." Alice moaned. "She only has one final card, but we just need to hold out for a minute before her power burns out and I can reseal her."

"Enough magic! Hey *****, ever heard of chems?" Frank asked lolice, but before she could reply, he injected himself with a speed/strength cocktail. He darted forward at enough speed to set a new record for fastest time anyone's ever kicked a little girl's arse.
He pummelled into the evil brat and smashed her against the wall, holding her firmly in place.
"Whatever you're gonna do Alice, now's a great time." Frank said to Alice, but not taking his eyes off lolololice. (Yes the lols were deliberate.)

Alice struggled to her feet. The injuries from the lightning stunned her muscles, crippling her movement. Lolice struggled to escape Frank's grip. Alice came up to her and socked her in the face.

"Look you little brat, I don't care if you're part of who I used to be, but there is no way that you are going to stop me from defeating you."

"You don't realize what you've done. I might not be able to exist much longer, but I still have the Grimoire. If I go, it goes with me. And where will you be? You'll be permanently weak, like you are now. Forbidden Y!"

Lolice was now becoming incredibly unstable. An explosion of magical energy erupted from her body, sending everyone to the walls with an incredible force. She flew to the center of the cave and summoned a bunch of Hourai dolls around her for protection. They sent beams into a web formation around and between the heroes. Every second a doll would be launched from her, armed with a knife.

"Everyone, stay alert. She may be able to keep that strength for only a minute, but that's gonna feel like a ridiculously long time. And we need to get my Grimoire back before she goes. Or else..."

"OK. I've just about enough of this shit!" Frank screamed in a rage, and injected himself with another cocktail of stims, then racing forwards at Lolice. Lolice countered with three dolls, who simply tripped Frank. "GRAAAAAHH!" he shouted as he hit the floor right in front of Lolice. "HAH!" She said, mocking Frank. But that was when she let her guard down in her unstable state. Miss Glados was waiting for the oportune moment, and fired a rocket right at Lolice. Lolice saw the flame, and managed to jump and avoid the rocket, only to be hit a blast from Sam's laser cannon he had just found in his hyperspace bag. Lolice hit the cave wall and slid down to the floor, dazed. "NOW RYAN!" Miss Glados shouted. Ryan ran up and grabbed the Grimore out of Lolice's dazed hands, only to be attacked by the dolls.

"Oh no!" Alice moaned. Miss Glados looked at her, then had an idea. "Hey guys, ever heard of Rocket Jumping?" Miss Glados fired her bazooka at the ground as she jumped backwards at Ryan and the dolls. The explosion propelled her at high speed into Ryan, sending them flying backwards into Lolice! Lolice cushioned the two hero's fall, and the Miss Glados moaned. "I'm out of rockets! NO!" Ryan however, saw a way out of the situation. He reached over and grabbed the Grimore, shoving it into Miss Glados' Bazooka. "FIRE!" He shouted, and Miss Glados pulled the trigger, completely unaware of why she was being told to fire her bazooka. The Grimore was launched right through the hordes of dolls, straight into Alice's arms!

Sam clapped at Ryan and Miss Glados' ingenuity. "Well done kids! Alice, now is the time!"

Alice fingered through the pages, looking for the spell she'd used several years ago. The cave's temperature was rising from the concentration of magical energy. Lolice was glowing brighter and brighter and becoming extremely unstable. Her dolls were extremely frenzied, slicing at Alice's skin. Alice's dolls attempted to blast them into oblivion, but like the hydra, one would fall only to be replaced by two more.

"Alice we're running out of time!" shouted Sam.
"Just give me a second... There!"

She muttered the spell and took aim at Lolice. The girl was being dragged towards the Grimoire.

"I won't lose! And you will fall Alice!" she released a massive amount of magical energy. The cave was flooded with light and suddenly became pitch black.

Everyone lay on the ground, dazed and exhausted. Lolice was gone, the Grimoire sealed, and Alice was unconcious and in poor condition. Her body was lacerated with knife wounds. Shanghai was sleeping by her body, the other dolls attempted to tend to their master. Alice was barely breathing.

"Nooo... THE TIME IS NOW!" Frank corrected Sam as Soviet music played briefly in the background.
Satisfied with his Doomsday arcade refefance, he straightened his tie a little and cracked his neck. His biotic enhancements kicked into life, meaning no chems, no restrictions. "If we all charge in, and take out those damn dolls she'll be defenceless and Alice should be able to get rid of little miss bitchy over there. Ready?"
