After a few hours rest, the dragoness decided it was high time to flee further. She had done a few patrol flights, much to her chagrin as it left Caim alone, to understand the scope of the situation. From what the dragon could understand, the ruling families were seeking to suppress the two with many armed forces. Armies, no problem for the dragon and her rider. What disconcerted the dragoness was the surge of power from a couple of the commanders. One she could tell was Severin, his eye energies giving him away like a blot of blood on bleached clothes. This was not good. The dragoness quickly returned to her partner, alerted him of the news, and took off to the skies again. She needed them to regroup when they were stronger. Until then, they would hide.
