"You shall not take what links me to this forest." She said and stood over near a very large oak. "You may follow me if you like, but it shall only be in circles until i even trust you enough. You've already been doing that for the past hour."
The woman finished as there was a giant cracking and heaving of the earth as the tree uplifted its roots and put the woman on its shoulder. In comparison to the dragon, the tree was of similar stature.

"Come back after you deal with the other one who seeks the sword. then speak to me." she said and the treefolk began walking off.
I can't shake the familiarity of this Dillon...

"Well Doom thinks that our Best bet is to find that Angel...person...Christ what was his name again?...Ah yes Tomoya, do you know him? Blue Hair, Sword, Looks like an Anime Cosplayer?...After that, I can FINALLY Kill that gay Matrix Fag, Wesker...Now do you know him?" Doom asked James as they "Borrowed" a Horse and Cart.

As dawn crept across Albion, so did the Swedes. Severin saw the massive forest laid out before him and laughed aloud.

"One does not simply walk into The Forbidden Forest," Garrus chuckled. Wrex pulled out his Ocarina and played a few dark tones quite loudly. Instantly, the sky darkened with the silouettes of scores of Wyverns, who began blanketing the forest with flames. The boars began squealing loudly, their riders looking petite upon such massive beasts. Severin opened his mouth and expelled a massive quantity of air, disposing of the flames immediately in their path. The army marched through the path as the fires continued to annihilate everything in their way.

Dillon could tell something wasn't quite right, when he looked up and saw flames encircling the foliage around them, his theories were confirmed.

Zero sat upon a war machine, made of wood and iron, examining his sword and the flames around him.

"What a genius I am," he murmured to himself.

"I do not know this Tomoya and I only know Wesker cause I just met him before you arrived. I was originally at that lab to meet someone else and ran into him on accident," James said as he forced a nearby peasant to drive for them.

The cart notable shifted weight to one side due to Doom's Armour.
"Well whatever happens Doom guesses we could hunt down some ancestors of people we don't like and kill them to prevent them from existing..." Doom answered back as he pulled a spoon and some yoghurt out from his pocket.
"Doom LLLllllooooovvvveeeesssss yoghurt..."

We've been following her? Youmu thought. But, how? And what did she mean by 'the other who seeks the--

Her thought was interrupted by the dragon shoving her off-balance, and a fire bursting out from where she'd been standing. It didn't take a genius to work out that it had seen the attack coming and pushed her out of the way. But she couldn't do that for all the trees, most of which burst into flames around the group. Immediately, Caim mounted the dragon and the two took off into the sky. Tomoya and Dillon activated their wings - Dillon with a slight grunt of exertion - and followed.

Youmu, however, stayed on the ground - following them would force her to fly through the fire. And fire is an anathema to ghosts, even to a half-breed. She had to find a way back out, away from the fire - even though that would leave her at the mercy of the Swedish Army...

Well, she at least had a chance against them.

Severin kicked down a particularly annoying shrub and found himself looking into a clearing.

"The sod is this?" he asked, eyeing a lone female. She was lowered in a defensive position, looking ready to strike at any moment. Sev looked at his two Majors and pointed at her. Wrex and Garrus instantly found themselves with new bumps on their heads. Sev sighed and sauntered forward.

"Look kid, I don't want too much trouble. You're not what I want, so you're free to go, but if you're feeling combative, just remember that I'm a Big Man with Big Weapons,"

"You do whatever you want, I've seen enough movies to know that that's a bad idea," James said as he got in, leveling the cart out. "Take us to Camelot and we won't kill you," James told the peasant. With a scared look on his face, the peasant nodded and made the horse move. That was when James realized how tired and decided to take a nap. "I'm going to take a nap, wake me when get there," he told Doom before closing his eyes.

Dillon didn't fly to fight Severin. he instead flew to the Dryad, his flight turned into a tackle, he pinned her to the tree with his forearm, he placed the palm of his other hand over her mouth.
"NO, NO Shrieking, no squealing or screaming wither OK?"
"OK" came the muffled terrified response.
"Look I know you don't like me, but look at whop entered your forest.
The Dryad looked to see Severin and his army of monsters and the Wyverns burning her beautiful forest.
"Now here's how it's gonna work, you can either get me through this forest quickly and I can save you and your forest, or you can play your game and die screaming, and burning.
we don't have time for your games here."

The other heroes were trying to stop Severin and his army but it wasn't a fight they could win
"Listen very closely," Dillon said his voice was calm and gentle
"We need that sword t defeat him, we can't stop his monster without the holy sword, so we can't deal with him unless you let me have the sword, I swear on my soul I will never raise the a hand to harm you or any creature in this forest, I will defend it even, but only if you help me now while there's time."

Dillon's smart and he knows we can't beat severin without Excalibur, and now that he made it COMPLETELY CLEAR that we can't beat Sevrin without the ssword she has no real choice in the matter
her options are
Help the guy who swore to defend the forest and get that promised unimaginable glory
or
Die helplessly to the wrath of a horrid monster of a man so evil that hell itself spat him back out.
kind of a no brainer

"Yeah whatever..." Doom Mumbles not really paying attention.
The Driver brought the Cart though a Village where the People Crowded around to see Doom.
"Yeah Yeah I'm Awesome, get over it..." He bemoaned as he ate his Yoghurt.

The trees that were burning stopped screaming and panicking as the flames turned familiarly black. The flames sank into the trees and a few seconds later, they inhaled. A deafening roar was released by the trees as they breathed fire onto sev's army. They were black inextinguishable flames, devastating the men.

The woman gave Dillon a sincere look of help, before becoming consumed with a look of disgust. She merged into the tree a away from Dillon, reappearing infront of the stone, it was surrounded by vines then a ring of treefolk, creati9ng an impenetrable forest.

"You shall not take this sword." she said, treefolk continuing to arrive.

After pasting the Village, Doom looks at the Forest.
"The Crap is going on in there?...Oi, Driver-*****, take us there..."
And so Doom and James headed for the Forbidden Forest...

After several minutes the Cart stopped outside an enterance.
Doom Shouted "HELLO!!!??? ANYONE HOME!?!?"

Sev looked at his wounded soldiers; there were many burned, but few dead. He turned back towards the Dryad.

"Well, that wasn't very nice at all. Not at all. I'm offended actually," Sev grabbed at his chest, "HURT, actually." The ground began to crack about the trees closes to him, "Now, please, allow me and my army passage without violence and no one has to get hurt,"

The Dryad's eyes narrowed, she was hesitant to even give this stranger's piercing word's a shade of acknowledgement. Zero walked in front of his friend.

"Don't do anything foolish, I've seen this man destroy his fair share of powerful Forest-Folk," Zero pointed at Youmu, "Ever hear of the Dryad, Aedoth?" To which Youmu shook her head.

"Of course you haven't, because this guy wiped that sucker from all memory!" Zero exclaimed, eyes wide in awe.

Doom made his was to the rest of the Heroes.
"Gah, Motherfucking Vines, I swear one tried to crawl into my ass. (See's Sev) The Fuck kinda Twat you are?..." He said as he tried to figure out what was going on.

The woman surveyed the field and briefly made eye contact with Dillon. A voice sounded off in his head. "kill the trees..." she sounded weak, alone and desperate.

A ribcage formed around the woman, made out of tree limbs, until it was a full skeleton. It rose up out of the earth as a shield and axe formed in its hands; bark was also forming on it.

It charged at sev, along with an entire forest of other treefolk, from neighboring groups.

Sev nodded his head and walked out of the forest with his entire infantry bulk. Swarms of Griffins flew down, their steel-armored bodies fully protected against the attempts by the tree-folk. Their metal-coated talons tore apart the tops of the trees, ripping many limbs to shreds.

"I didn't want it to end like this, I'm actually fond of trees," Sev said over the screams of his victims and the cries of valor of his Aerial forces. He bent down and sniffed a flower, enjoying the scent, then stomped on it.

"What I'm not fond of, is things that get in the way of what I need," Sev slammed his foot on the ground, ripping open a deep crevice between his men on the ashen side of the forest and the surviving tree-folk. Severin was able to bring up a wall of diamond to provide sanctuary for the Swedes as the lack of pressure above the earth's magma forced its destructive expulsion upon the tree-folk.

Some minutes after the attack, Sev closed the crevice and lowered the diamond. Before him was a graveyard, scores of dead and ashen tree-folk. In the center of it all was the weeping Dryad, dirt-smudged and weakened severely. Severin wouldn't have that. He picked up a handful of dirt, and walked up to the Dryad. Some molecular reconstruction later, a small green plant began to grow in the dirt. Sev motioned at it towards the Dryad, then planted the small plant in the ground. With wide eyes, she watched him reconstruct the tree folk into their original glory.

Sev panted and gasped for water, it was quite the ordeal. As the Swedes placed him on his horse, his vision glazed over the Dryad.

"I'm sorry," he whispered before he finally went under, exhausted. The army trudged on towards a path Severin made, through the forest and out to a massive plain. One Wyvern stopped and landed next to the Dryad, licked her face, and continued on.

For the...ninth time, was it? No, it was probably more-- Youmu slowly dragged herself back to consciousness, groaning as she did. Looking around, she found herself in a fireman's lift on the shoulder of one of the Vikings. None of them seemed to notice that she'd come to. Definitely not the one who was carrying her, at any rate.

What did they want with her? Was it their leader who told them to bring her with them, or was it a decision by the individual? Where were the others? Whose side was she really on?

Okay. I know some of you might be confused by this, particularly on Youmu's morality. Allow me some explanations:

Youmu hardly knew anything of the subject before entering 'our' world, except from the Bushido - and from that, loyalty was what she followed most closely. At that time, she just did what Yuyuko asked of her, regardless of what it actually was; her entrance to the series was because she was stealing spring for a reason I won't get into.

That being the case, everything she's learned on the subject was due to her travels through Canada, feudal Japan, the airship and now some of medieval England. None of that involved Severin. And she doesn't know who set the forest ablaze...If Severin plays his cards right, he might win another ally - at least, for a while.

Doom saw Sev's Display
"Pfffffff, so you know a few tricks, big fucking deal, Check this out!" He shouted, clearly not wanting to be up-staged by the Swedish Prat Before him.
He gathered energy in his hand and shouted "SPHERE FLAME! SUCK IT!" and fired a large Fireball and threw it skyward.
Sev looked at it and mockingly hummed "Cause baby, your a Firework..."
The Fire-Work Ball exploded in midair causing a Group "Ooooooooooooo..." along Sev's Army, followed quickly by crys of pain as Super-Heated Plasma rained from the sky and onto Sev's Army.
The Plasma stuck onto those unlucky enough to get hit, burning them slowly into a puddle of Goo.
A wlad of Plasma landed on Sev's Shoulder, burning straight though the armour and reaching his shoulder but not getting any futher.
Doom laughed and shouted "Yeah...Doom is petty Awesome..."

For the Record, I'm petty sure Plasma is a Non-Elemental attack. Also, I would like to know how Sev would react to someone MORE arrogant than him, might try take him down a few pegs.
