The Escapist Avatar Adventure: An Open RP (Now Re-Opened!)

Shadow reached the bridge and quickly ran over to the radar. The radar had 3 enemy airships and 1 friendly airship fighting it out. Plus about 1400 fighters flying around trying to kill each other. He wondered if the Rising Dawn had any weapons to fire at the 3 enemy aircraft units. He slung Taytum off his shoulder and set her down near him. Shadow then began to look for any weapons the Rising Dawn might have.

"Angelus! This is Puce. See if you can knock some of those fighters out of the sky would you?" Puce said over the radio on Caim's PDA, having arrived on the bridge.

The dragon gave a proud laugh; and shouted in response: "It will be no concern, Puce! My fires will cleanse the sky of their filth!"

That was when the duo noticed that a familiar pink and cat-shaped ally was falling downwards. Genki was caught off guard from the recent turn of events; and was now plummeting from the airspace of the planes. With a quick dive, the dragon caught Genki, and returned to shooting homing fire at the jets.

Russian Airspace

Inuart frowned as they passed by destroyed cities. It was almost reminiscent of the Imperial Capital back in their home-world; albeit a little less populated. From what they remembered, there were demons abound in the skies. This was only... Empty.

As they proceeded, Legna spoke up, "That smell... Inuart, I think I found their trail."
"Really? How do you know?"
"I smell fire. It is her's. There is no mistaking it."
"Where's it coming from?"
"That airship wreckage below us. Her flames still cling to it."

The blue-black dragon sniffed the air again, and began to pump his wings harder.

"We must make haste. The trail is the freshest we've had! Prepare yourself, human. We will be upon them in moments..."

Behind him, the blade of the Scythe reappeared heading towards Akuma.

Mammon was intrigued as Akuma passed through the scythe with no effect, he was able to fade in and out just as he could.

However he didn't expect Akuma to not strike as he emerged from the teleport, instead he goaded Mammon into attacking again, only for Akuma to leap into the air.

Hans was quite surprised by his sudden change in location, and being instructed by some mean that he had never met before. He just glared angrily.

"I have a name, damn it!" He cried out in indignation. He glanced outside the windows, and saw explosions, and gunfire, and the like. "What in the world is going on?! Did we just end up in a warzone, or something?"

Lily's wing shielded her from the bullets as they hit it and fell to the floor.

"Lily... No!" Kaz shouted as he knew that she was lost to her own bloodlust now.

It was soon a blink of an eye before the man was pinned to the wall by Lily with a massively large sword. She swung it up, cutting the man in half.
Lily blew past Kazuya and blasted towards the Russian Airship.

"No....." Kazuya said to himself as he flew after Lily, Keen to stop her from transforming into that monster from Bison's Asia.
He was easily able to catch up in terms of flying, but with the missiles and fighter jets in the area, it made reaching Lily extremely hard.
Lasering his way past a few Chinese fighters, he attempted to call her.
"LILY! GET BACK HERE!"

Shadow eventually found a Mac Cannon, shadow didnt know it would power down the systems so he went ahead and aimed at the nearest Chinese aircraft. The cannon took a few seconds to charge but then it fired. The enemy aircraft was literally blown apart. Shortly afterwards the defences for the rising dawn went down. Shadow then cursed himself for firing it, even though that was a fun explosion.

Again in New York as Yu.

As Yu traded his yen in for American dollars he noticed he had gotten hungry over the long trek he took. The good part of having parents work overseas is that they give you more money. After Yu actually got back from the town of Inaba, his parents suddenly announced that they have to go to work overseas again but left him a fair sum of money and a credit card to spend on living costs.

Thinking about if this universe has no effect on his. Yu managed to spot an ATM and insert the card. Yu was surprised looking at how much money was on the card. Just over one million dollars. "No way!" Yu yelled out in surprise but calming down after people looking at him.

A smile came to his face as he got out a thousand dollars in cash and put it in his wallet. Withdrawing the card and returning to walk down the street which looked like it was tormented by some demon. Yu spotted the still open TGI Fridays (A reference to one of my older destructive posts), Yu shrugged as he walked inside and ordered a steak (While managing to hide his two handed katana in his pants and jacket. As the steak came and Yu was cutting it a thought came to him which made him frown. "Chie would love this steak." He thought as he put the first piece of steak in his mouth.

Minutes later.

Walking out after a big meal, Yu returned to his bike and rode to the airport where he actually manage to sell the bike for a small sum of cash before he walked into the airport. As Yu managed to buy a first class ticket to Japan, he boarded the plane shortly before it took off to Tokyo.

Hours later.

The plane suddenly went into seat belts on mode again as they heard lout noises outside. Everyone one the left side of the plane gazed out to only see a giant air battle between five ships. Opening his mouth in amazement whilst looking outside Yu's jaw almost dropped while looking at the tech and a interesting looking jet whizzing around. Until the plane suddenly rocked due to a wing being hit by a loose bullet and started to descend...quickly...as in crash quickly. Cursing himself for looking at the battle, Yu thought of his friends and family as it was descending.

The stare off continues.

It feels like me and meh are being ignored here.

Tomoya's side of things.

As the battle raged on, Red Mage, Tomoya and David were in a stand-off as Chrysalis flew off, it may of looked like that David were taking on two strangers until one summoned lightning wings and flew away. Noticing the screams in his head getting louder, Tomoya knew innocent people were involved in this. Looking at the situation and sighing, Tomoya's wings appeared, "You two take care of each other, I have innocent people to save!" Tomoya angrily said as he flew out of the hanger and towards the descending plane whilst avoiding the battle.

As Tomoya approached the plane as it falls, Tomoya saw the problem instantly. A hole in the wing. Knowing what to do quickly, Tomoya patched it up with lightning. The plane still fell but now at a deadly speed. Everyone could only see a boy with wings help them as he went underneath and guide them down safely. As the plane crashed softly, everyone piled out and went into one group except Yu who was intrigued by the Archangel. The group was muttering things like "Angel", "Archangel" as they went off to safety. Tomoya was beside the craft as suddenly a voice called out to him. "Take me with you!" Yu pleaded to the Archangel as he walked to him. Tomoya was surprised at this, "Why should I, you will only get hurt!" Tomoya scolded him. This only made yu stronger, "I want to help save this world like I did to that town. Yu said strongly. This hit Tomoya like a bolt of lightning as he heard the human's plea. "You are not ordinary are you? Hehe, okay then. Grab on!" Tomoya yelled at him as he extended his hand.

"Thanks..." Yu said as he grasped the hand as the two flew back into the air and towards the Rising Dawn.

Red disregarded the Angel as he jumped out of the hanger to save a plane. The mage in red turned to David and shook his head, "Are you really going to try and kill me with a bullet?" He picked up his staff from the floor and adjusted his cloak, "I have one hundred million souls tucked away in this die," he tossed the twentysided die into the air and caught it, "it took a lot of effort to charge a philosopher's stone this much."

David pulled the trigger and a high caliber bullet launched itself toward the Red Mage. Time slowed, and RM saw the bullet curve, a little at first, but then it began to swing wildly. The round spun around the mage's body and flung itself back toward David, hitting him in the hand.

"If you call yourself a hero of the people. stay out of my way and live to fight another day," RM tipped his hat and slid the ruby die back into it's pouch on his waist.

Ragnarok looked at David
"Go ahead and try it, won't hurt me and it won't even hurt wimpy little Crona, I'd harden our blood before you get a chance."
David noticed that the broadsword was gone from the floor, somehow the blade could return to Crona, this did make sense considering the blade had appeared from nowhere.
"Now unless if you have anything else Crona is going to get me some food,unless if you want my fist making a hole in your face." Ragnarok shouted this last bit at Crona who whimpered got up and ran past David.

Shadow was becoming frustrated because he had brought down the Rising Dawn's defences for a while and he couldnt fire the gun again for a while. He decided maybe he could find a jet to fight with. So he picked up taytum and left the room running. He ran down the hall towards the flight deck, or where he hoped it would be. When he ran right past a girl with something else? He continued running but looked back for a second. Thats when he ran right into David knocking them both over. Shadow sighed for a few seconds before standing up and apologizing to David. He then helped him up and asked "who were the two I just ran past?".

The Medbay

Akane smiled slightly and cocked her head as she replied to Gabrielle. "Yes, we slept together, but not in the traditional sense. It had been a long fight, we both wanted to shower and sleep, then emotions evolved, then old you attacked. After we finished off our shower we went to bed. We were both too tired to fool around. I did not look hard at her body, we shared a night's sleep. Then it all went to Hell, well, Heaven in Aftan's case. Ahh, here we are. Place your hand in the machine there, and it should heal it."

Akane pointed at a small robot on a table.

Mac Cannon you say?

Loud Gunfire you say?

As the cannon went off, the light and sound created were more than enough to paint a metaphorical neon sign that pointed directly at the Rising Dawn saying: "HEY, LOOK OVER HERE!!! WHAT IS THIS SPOT? LOUDLY DO WE WONDER ABOUT IT!"

Said audiovisual effects did not go unnoticed by Inuart and Legna; and the duo were quick to close in on the location. The air currents were in the duo's favor; and in no time black scales shone as the scrawny dragon flew into the clusterfuck that was the attack of the Chinese planes.

Angelus immediately hissed after the fact of the cannon going off. The brightness did not bode well for her eyes, and the sound was deafening to both warrior and dragon. That was when a roar entered the duo's ears, and the two forced their eyes open again. A sight for sore eyes, as it were; if the sight were to drive stakes into the sockets and twist. Red and yellow eyes locked, as well as auburn and blue; and the two pairs realized who the other was.

Caim's jaw clenched, and his grip around Hymir's Finger tightened. However, he decided to place that sword back into the Wheel, and chose his family sword instead. If he was to fight Inuart, it would be with the proper blade. The aforementioned man's 'voice' entered Caim and Angelus' minds, "So, we meet again, Caim. And this time, communications are a little more stable, eh?"

"Shut your mouth, snake! I will end you here!"

"Tsk, tsk; you haven't changed at all, have you? Listen, I want nothing to do with you. I'm just here to inquire about some people you've been spreading lies to. Where can I find a man with brown hair? He has a doll with him, a little thing. They stole something of mine, and I want it back!"

Angelus shook her head, a small growl growing in her throat; "We cannot tell you that, Inuart. We know what they took, and we know what you wanted to do with it. Furiae needs to remain in the embrace of the Gods. You constantly ripping her out of that is a desecration of her soul and them!"

"I care not about gods! AAAAAAAAAAUUGH!!!"

All the two heard after that was a scream from the redhead, and Legna began to charge at them. However, before anything could be done; missiles began to pour in after the dragons (and their respective riders). It stopped Legna's advance, and the black dragon was able to evade most of the hurt, using his fire for some of the ones that were too close for comfort. When the closest salvo was gone, Legna called to his pact-partner and the other duo,

"Perhaps a temporary cessation of fire would be in order? I don't know about you two, but I'd rather not get blown up! Say, we hold off of personal vendettas till the immediate threats are gone?"

"NO!""NO!"

"Fine. I'd rather deal with one thing at a time. You keep your idiot leashed in, and I'll keep in mine. Deal?"

"Exactly what I had in mind. Now, Inuart, this way..."

As the two men were screaming at their respective dragons, be it mentally or physically, said beasts of rationality were taking their time to tear into the offending jets, reddish orange and blue flames quickly becoming the last thing to many a pilot's vision.

Happy Knight is Happy?

Akane was caught by surprise by the hug, but didn't try to force her way out of it. The ship rocked from a hit and Gabrielle ended the hug.

"Is you hand all stitched? Good. Let us go, we need to get down to the Hotel that Mammon is in. I will take my fox form, and if you have no issues with it you can ride upon my back. It will be quickest flying that way. If we defeat him, the enemy fighters and Airships should be freed from his control." Akane said as she began to change.

A swirl of flame, and the Kitsune took her true form, that of a very large fox. A small pair of bells hung from her ear, and they tinkled softly with her movement.

"Hop on, and no jokes about riding me hard, Knight Gabrielle, lest I use you as my personal chewtoy!" Akane said merrily as she kneeled to allow the Knight to climb on.

I am going to have fun with this one...Oh yes...

Akane grinned like only a fox can, and inverted herself. Gabrielle was forced to sheath the tonfa and wrap herself around the Kitsune to not fall off. She could feel the heat from Akane, a radiating warmth.

Akane tilted her head a bit and looked back into the Knight's face, her grin wide and feral.

"When this is over, Knight Gabrielle, I shall make you wish you had never tried to joke about a Kitsune, especially to her face. TORA! TORA! TORA!" Akane gleefully shouted, her eyes aflame.

The Kitsune and her guest sped through the massive furball of a dogfight, Gabrielle holding tight as the G Forces strained her hold upon Akane. Akane giggled madly as she let loose lances of blue fire as she tumbled and swirled and flipped and spun through the chaotic aerial ballet, adding her rhythm to the dance of death. More fighters dropped in flaming wreckages as Akane blasted her way through the fight, dipping and twisting through the smoke and gunfire.

She noticed more than one dragon in this fight, and gained some altitude before dropping like a stone towards it's head, sights set on a Chinese fighter breaking off and trying to evade the dragon.

"ALAKAZAM ************!" Akane shouted gleefully as she blasted past the dragon's snout at nearly the speed of sound.

The poor Chinese fighter never stood a chance as the Kitsune speared it with a flame lance, slicing it clean in two. Akane laughed heartily as she banked and rolled away, spotting Red and Caim not far away. She rolled over again just to disorientate Gabrielle more before diving to meet Red the Dragon. Akane performed a quick pass over the dragon and rider, a quick hello and wave before she dived for the ground like a screaming comet.

Gabrielle heard only a roar in her ears for the dive, until they broke the sound barrier that was. A loud BOOM, and then she could hear nothing.

Only 10 seconds later, Akane began to pull up above the Shanghai skyline. The roar of the wind came back to Gabrielle even as Akane came in and landed on the rooftop where she could sense the spirit of Mammon.

"Consider yourself very lucky. A Kitsune almost never offers to carry a Human unless it is a life and death situation for both. Obey my wishes next time I offer this honour to you, or you can ride with the dragon. And I am certain she is not as forgiving as I am with regards to hurt pride." Akane whispered dangerously into the ear of the Knight still solidly gripping her.

"Fool! I will kill you now. You had your chance and now you shall suffer.

"Naive Fool...."

His right hand becoming enveloped with fire and his right with lightning, Akuma immediately grabbed Mammon and threw him to the ground.

As he attempted to get up Akuma charged his hand as he landed.

"You are weak for not relying on your fists!."

The room began to crumble as Akuma's attacks took their toll.

Genki leaped off of Angelus, landing on another jet and continuing his jet hopping towards the lead airship. He made sure to steer clear of the dragons, he hated water.

"Heh.....Hero of the people....You know what happens when I die?...Some guy spends the next 4 days burning all trace of my existence..." David said as he held his bleeding hand.
"'Sides....It's my life and you need all the souls you can get.... What's one more body amongst the foundations?...." He said as he pulled out his Fury Machine Pistol and sprayed fire at Red Mage.

Before the stand off

David watched as the little girl ran into the canteen, crying.
".....Guess this is what I get for approaching little girls with massive handguns....." He said as he walked off, He would have to sort that prick out after he was done with Red Mage.

Kazuya kept going after Lily as the guns blazed all around them.
He did not see Charlie aim his rifle at him, too focused on trying to catch her daughter.

Lily was spinning her sword infront of herself slowly. Charlie squeezed the trigger and the hit sword. He squeezed again and the same result. Every shot he took, it managed to hit the sword. It wasn't long before she was standing infront of Charlie.
"I must ask you... are you humans always so ignorant of the gods you used to worship? Do you drop us like bad habits when we don't do as you ask? When we can't answer every one of your millions of prayers?" she questioned him. "You humans betrayed me and the rest of the gods and goddess'. You shall pay for your arrogance." she said and swung the sword down at him, the cut would chop him in half.

The sword swung down on Charlie.
But he was still alive as Kazuya was able to grab the Blade before it split the man in two.
"LILY! THAT IS ENOUGH!" He barked out as Lily took her sword back.
"This man was Aiding us. This Ship is attacking the Enemy. I know that they cut it close with those missiles, but now is not the time to hurt our allies! He lectured Lily before turning to Charlie.
"And You! Are the Dumbest Grunt I've ever seen. You climb out of a Airship in midair and attempt to shoot someone down with a M16 of all things? There are gun Turrets, USE THEM! Do NOT make us come back here, GOT IT!?" He then gave out, recalling yelling at mooks while in Rugal's Employ.

Going to a Friends Place, will be gone for most of the day.

AAH DAMN IT ALL BUSY BUSY SCHEDULE

Hans continued glaring at Puce.

"Repair? Are you kidding me?" An explosion rocked the ship, causing him to fall back with a thud. "AH DAMN! Alright, alright. Just get me to where your defenses are, and I'll throw myself in."

He got back up, ran over to Puce and leapt on top of his head.

"Well? Let's get going pal! The sooner we do this, the better our chances are of not getting engulfed in a fiery explosion... or worse!"

Hans mentally shuddered at what those commie bastards might do if they got his hands on him.
