In the sky of Shanghai
"Angelus, cover me!"
Scarlet flames whizzed past Legna, and another jet fell from the sky. The black dragon, however, was busying himself with charging one of his homing attacks. As powerful as it was, it left him completely motionless until the attack was launched. Thus, the red had to keep him free from fire. Blue runes glowed around his neck for a few seconds, and the barrage was unleashed; the same runes now extending themselves and pulverizing several of the aircrafts. Quickly following suit, Angelus unleashed a barrage of her own, orange-red ribbons of ruins attacking right where the blue ones left off. As much as the two hated to admit it, the dragons made a good team. A pity, considering the conflicts they both found themselves tangled in.

As the two dragon raged against the jets, all Caim and Inuart could do to busy themselves was to jump to various aircrafts and beat them senseless with their blades, Caim having the sense to switch back to Hymir's Finger. However, as they did so, the mental communications between them remained... Foul, to put it kindly.
Inuart used Legna's brief pause to jump, calling to Caim,
"It's been such a long time since we've fought together, isn't it Caim? Now, if only you'd help me, we could be friends again... Furiae would live! Everything could go back to the way it was!"
Caim had jumped atop a jet, and plunged Hymir's Finger deep into the cockpit; instantly killing the pilot inside. As he was pulling the blade out, he 'shouted' to his former best friend,
"Only in your fantasies! When all of this is over, I'm going to rip your head off and shove it down your dragon's black throat! We'll see how well you sing then!"
Inuart's laugh rang cold in Caim's mind, as he too landed atop another jet, bringing his sword down to freeze the window, and thus obfuscate the view of the pilot,
"I gave my songs for strength, remember? Or are you too wrapped up in your bloodlust to remember anything else besides revenge?"
As Caim finally released Hymir's Finger from it's prison of flesh and metal, he jumped upwards and was caught by Angelus,
"Strength? Ah, that's explains it!"
Inuart frowned, and preformed a similar maneuver, using Legna's tail to bounce himself to another jet;
"What are you talking about?"
Caim gave a dark smile as he jumped from Angelus to another aircraft,
"The strength you gained was so minuscule, I hardly noticed!"
The redhead growled, and gave an angry scream, taking his wrath out upon the poor pilot below him. Even if there was a truce, and a shaky one at that, there was no love lost between the two men. A battle between them was imminent, and any who were caught in the cross-fire would be worse for wear.
