What Kurumu saw was confusing. There was two pasts in this girl, both existing at the same time.

The first one she saw was a beautiful childhood in a city of white limestone. Flags flapped from high castle towers, a golden sunburst on a black field. Kyre clung to her mother's skirt as she hung the day's laundry on the lines alongside a dozen other domestic servants.

One of the other servant's children beckoned to her, and she ran to greet him. The castle was massive, sitting atop a great hill in the middles of the city. From the courtyard she could see all the way down the four archways and to the suburbs beyond the great city walls. The bustle of the market was everywhere, the noise of rolling oxcarts and the jingling of coins. She ran with the other children down the castle halls, past the knights in yellow armor. One smiled, his hair long and dark maroon, like Kyre's. He had the same tattoos as her, two branches above each of his eyebrows. Kurumu felt this man's name. 'Weth Belrose' and she felt her love for him. He was family, friend, and protector.
Deeper, there was a second memory. The young anti-mage sat atop a great obsidian spire that overlooked all of Prybat. The screech of eagles filled the mid morning air as she groomed her giant centipede. The air was filled with the scent of blossoms. Veim was blooming, and the roseworm farms would be producing a lot of honeydew this time of year. She had to remember to stop by the farm and pick up a jug or two for father. Prybat stretched out before her in all directions on countless branches. Buildings and streets lined every single possible place, and the glowing roseworms hung lazily to the undersides to avoid the harsh sun.

Kyre yawned, and the centipede crawled from her lap and wrapped itself around her neck like a scarf. She giggled. Two heavy hands grasped her shoulders, she leaned back and smiled. A great mountain of a man smiled back, his long crimson hair tied into the traditional double braid, and a harvesting scythe hung loosely from his belt.

"What are we doing here young master? I'm sure your lord father has voiced his disapproval of your journeys to the top of the castle."

Kyre laughed, "Papa always says things, but that doesn't mean that you should listen to everything he says. Belrose, can you take me down to the farm? I want to get something for Ilumnir."

Belrose picked up Kyre, "Your father's the king young master. You would do well to listen to him every now and again. But, your word is as powerful as his. I shall take you down to the underhang princess."

The centipede coiled around Kyre's neck and began to poke at Belrose's thick tunic. Kyre laughed and poked Belrose on the cheek, "Ilumnir likes you."

"Well I hope he does, if he doesn't then I'll have trouble when he grows to the size of a Rokh."

Belrose, Kurumu felt here, came with the words 'traitor, destroyer, aggressor.'
Before Kurumu, Kyre continued to spasm, but her eyes seemed to follow the Succubus as she came closer.

Kyre's head was burning with a fever. And the girl eagerly grabbed onto the centipede, clutching it close to her body. Kyre seemed to calm down, her shaking had become remarkably less violent. She whispered, "I don't want to think anymore. Please. Kill me."

Kurumu could see once again the memories locked away in the young girl.

White blossoms drifted down in the evening breeze and Ilumnir lay asleep atop Kyre's head. A small gold crown sat atop the sleeping centipede as Belrose walked Kyre down the main market district. The entire place was filled with flowers and colorful ribbons. Rosewarm chitin dyed brilliant colors held sparkling gemstones in sheets. The vendors all waved to her as she passed.

To her right sat her father atop his own Mortakul, soul-bound centipede. It was massive, easily the length of four mean and as tall as at least one. He scuttled along slowly on a hundred legs as the parade continued.

"Belrose, what are the other cities like? The ones below us and on the far branches?" Kyre asked the tall man to her left.

Belrose scratched his head, "To tell you the truth young master, I do not know. As a bloodknight I mainly journey to the deep cities rather than the far branches. Perhaps you can ask uncle Belrose something else."

"Are there other people out there? Beyond the roots of Veim?"

Belrose looked panicked and quickly shushed Kyre, "Don't ask about that either. It's a sensitive topic."

"Okay," Kyre said, smiling, "but I'm sure that nothing can hurt us when you're protecting us Belrose!"

Belrose laughed at this, "but young master, I am not God. I am not Veim. I am only human."
Belrose stood at the gnarled throne, a zweihander in his right hand. Father lay on his knees and the room was filled with the men in yellow armor. Father looked up at Belrose, his face bloody from the fight.

"You did this?" the king said between coughs, "you were my brother. Why would you betray us, all of us. Weth, tell me why"

Belrose was stoic, his face did not betray a single emotion as he answered his dying brother, "My king, I betrayed you because it was the only way to save our people. The Canodrians out match us by magnitudes. Their magic destroys Veim's defenses. Not even the great Rokhs can drive these men off. We are to be enslaved or eradicated."

The yellow knights began to mutter amoung themselves. Kyre did not understand what they were saying. Mother's hand wrapped around her. "Kyre stay strong. Remember Belrose. Remember him well, and when you can, find him. Kill him. Make him suffer for all the terrorst hat he has imparted upon us."

Kyre turned to face her mother, "Mama, what's going on. Why is Uncle Belrose fighting papa. Why do I have to remember him. Where am I going?"

Kyre's questions were cut short by the sickening crunch of steel on bone. Kyre shrieked, her father's head rolled onto the floor and his body collapsed in front of the Gnarled Throne.

"Sorry brother, this is for the survival of our kind."

One of the yellow knights stepped forward and pried Kyre from her Mother's warm embrace and took her outside. The city was burning and the world was dark. Leaves fell down in clouds as thick as the sulfur smoke. The armored man brought her to a strange vehicle, gold and black with great big tracks on either side.

She was placed inside with a dozen other people. the palace chef was here, the blacksmith was here. Then some more people she didn't recognize. "What's going on, where's papa..." she whispered to herself.
Young Kyre screamed toward the sky and writhed in pain. The more she remembered the more conflicted she became. The other her, the calm one whose childhood had not been broken and shattered had begun to lose control. The new one was filled with hate and anger. "KILL ME! KILL ME! I DON'T WANT TO REMEMBER!" She stared at Kurumu, her green eyes were bloodshot and fierce, "Why are you doing this to me!?" her grip on Ilumnir tightened and the centipede squirmed to free itself.

After waiting for the others to arrive, Storm grew restless from how long this was taking.
"Damn, where is everyone?" He said as he skimmed a stone across the water.
Alpha beeped in agreement, when out of no-where he began to panic.
"Whoa, Hey, Calm down, I'm here, What's going on?"
A Icon appeared on his visor coming from sea, something was flying towards them and fast.
"...Oh...Him..." Storm said as he recognised the incoming target as Viscus.
He was still some distance away, giving Storm time to prepare.

Darren rubbed his cheek after Akane showed her annoyance at this attitude.
"....Thank you...Jack, I'll pass on going to hell, I just want to go home."
And thus Jack opened a portal back to Darren's apartment as Mark talked about wiping Darren from existence.
"Mark, If you really want to remove me from Reality....Either do it or not, Don't joke about it. And if you do, wait till I'm asleep.....Goodbye everyone..."
And thus Darren walked though and ended up in his apartment, repaired after RM burned it to ash.
The first thing he did was fall flat on his bed and went to sleep instantly, his nightmare over.
For now...
Darren is now In-active

After taking the time to chat with the others there, Devon went to that laptop and looked up more info on him and his family, seeing as the company he had been working for had vanished into the ether. What he found was odd - nothing. Sure, they hadn't been famous, but even checking Facebook provided nothing, including his own.

He looked around to the rest of the group. "Hey, anyone have a phone they can spare? Something really weird's going on here, and I need to check up on some family."

Berlin, right after F. Daniel sent the message

After hearing the message, Slindis nodded to the rest of the group's concerns. [color=c20000]"I don't like how he has this set up, but let's go get that Daniel back. Although they're both the same person, the present one hasn't done any of the things we know him doing from the future."[/color]

Tajuh, however, was a bit more skeptical. "He's choosing the battlefield and has ample time to prepare for whatever we could throw at him. Also, even if he can't die, I doubt that he would constantly torture him. This is either a distraction or a trap, and it's not likely to end well unless we come up with a few plans on the way. Slindis, it'd be best if we stay here and prepare for an attack. It's not likely to do much, but abandoning Berlin would be reckless."

The drow was annoyed at the lecture and glared at the human. [color=c20000]"No, We're heading to that island. Khyber, I'll swim there myself if I have to. Getting rid of him now while we have the chance is far better than sitting on our hands. Or do you already forget you were the one that stated that we shouldn't divide our group?[/color]

The man grinned and let out a dry laugh. "You don't think I don't know that? That Daniel's forced our hands with that move, and this is a situation that I'd rather not be in. Still, I'll follow your lead here. Who knows, we might be having some unexpected aid here."

German coast, present.

As the two waited on the shoreline, they began seeing the makings of a fleet on the horizon.

Dream Level 1
Location: Meadow
Young Kyre gripped Kurumu's hand, she stared at the Succubus angrily, a hate welled up in the young girl. "Don't act like you know what's going on! You have no idea what I feel!" she wiped the tears from her eyes and pulled sharply on Kurumu's hand, "I don't need anyone but myself!"

Dream Level 2
Location: S.N.V Titania, the Azure Sea, off the docks of Lumen.
Time: Three months before arriving in the Avatar Adventure
The darkness was fading away, and the smoke and fires became enveloped in light. Kyre was standing on a metal boat, a young girl was leaning on her. She had soft brown hair and wore the robes of a junior magician. Her staff was too big for her and towered over her head.

The endless Azure Sea stretched before her, dotted with ice floes and other grand ships of northman design. Soft flakes of snow drifted from the light grey sky.

"Kyre, isn't it beautiful? All of this. I wish I could stay here forever, bathed in the soft white of snow." the younger girl said as she turned to look up at Kyre. She had large brown eyes and pale skin, she looked old and young at the same time.

Kyre held her close, "It is little Miranda... it is."

"Kyre, do you ever miss your city? Did Candor burn it down like they did to Minth?"

Kyre nodded silently, "Let us not speak of this anymore young princess. It is painful to dwell on such things."

Miranda shook her head and leaned back into Kyre forcefully, "We must carry the memories that pain us. Or else no one else will remember the people that once lived in our hearts. Even the desolate emptiness of Prybat holds beauty. That of nature."

"Then little princess, what beauty does the ruins of your city contain."

"The beauty of death, stillness. The stones of Minth will never be again disturbed, and the halls will be the home to those that were once living. It will stand as a reminder of the war, and of all the people who have died in it. Candorians, Dwarves, Elves, Wargs, Orcs, Southrons, Changelings and even the Prybatians."

Kyre nodded softly, "You are wise young one."

"The whispers of magic are not all evil. Sometimes the best method of revenge is absolution. That is the creed of the necromancers. Revive, Forgive, and let Live."
Young Kyre thrashed on the ground, "That's not me! I would never condone such actions. I hate everyone, everything! Burn all the men in the world until their ashes can no longer catch flame!" Then suddenly she stopped, and she turned to Kurumu, her eyes softened.

Then she spoke, her voice different from any that had surfaced before, "Where am I?" Kyre extended a hand toward Kurumu's face, brushing the skin on her cheeks with soft fingers, "I know you..."

The meadow began to vanish, turning white and incorporeal. Soon the white light consumed both Kyre and Kurumu.

Kyre Cwanuld awoke from her sleep and stared absently into the blue German sky. There were things she couldn't remember, her father, her mother. She had them, but she couldn't recall their faces anymore. A city in a tree, it's named escaped her. So many images, many without titles. Marching men, a group of friends, a city a glacier.

She mouthed something softly, "Kurumu... what happened. Where am I? Why can't I remember anything?"

Storm poked Shadow in the shoulder to wake him up. "Wake up...we have an enemy in-coming...and we can kill it this time." Storm said happily as he turned his attention to Alpha and the base. "Alpha turn all attention to armor protection from this AI...try doing some counter hacking in return." Storm said as he noticed his HUDs radar spot him and yet someone else further away.

"Everyone to battle stations...ring the alarm and prepare the ships for battle and arm the base defenses too." Storm said out loud as everyone started to prepare. "This guy is a major pain in the ass...I wish I had my new armor too." Storm muttered to himself.

Where's... that thing. The city filled with white stone. A castle on a hill. Where is the flying ship, and the things."

Kyre's eyes widened, "Who- who am I? What rune are you talking about." She massaged her head and sat up, tugging at her leathers, "Belrose... Belrose... What is that name..."

"Who are we going to kill?" Shadow asked as over the radio channel.

"... Anti-Mage?" Kyre asked. She shook her head, "All these words mean nothing to me." The sky was dull grey here, and the air stung cold. There was salt in the breeze, was this the Azure Sea? Then she shook her head, the thoughts she were having made no sense, she had never heard of an Azure Sea.

Kyre turned to Kurumu again, "What's going on here? I can feel the tension in the air."

Kyre nodded and uncorked one of the vials from her belt instinctively. The liquid was brown and clear, with a strong pungent smell. She put the vial to her mouth and downed the entire volume in a single gulp.

"At least my body remembers what's where even if I don't," she leaned forward and her eyes narrowed, "but, what in the world possessed you to remove the seal if you needed me as a weapon?"

Kyre sighed and put a gloved hand on her face, softly massaging her temples, "it doesn't matter now. Don't feel guilty and don't be sorry. Those are emotions reserved for when there are things that you can change."

Viscus finally came within firing range of the Russian guns when masses of red targets came up on Storm's Radar.
Just as several dozen missiles that were riding wingman to Viscus came into View.
"Oh shit...EVERYONE DOWN! NOW!" The Spartan shouted as the entire lit up with explosions, striking down the Russians en mass as well as kicking up Sand and Smoke into the air, effectively blinding everyone in the area, Hell, Even Storm had to wipe muddy sand from his visor.
When the Smoke cleared, Viscus was standing alone against the entire group.

Shields: Barriers to protect the Armour in combat at the cost of Armour Power.

Replusers (Located in Palms of both hands and In-steps of each foot): Used mainly for Flight, These Energy Weapons work by moving the air around them to allow Vicus to fly.
If needs be, He can use them for offence by increasing the amount of air it moves and the speed at which it moves to create a projectile. Low Damage, compared to his other weapons, but can be used for sneak attacks or when other weapons are offline.

Unibeam (Located in Chest): A powerful Laser which draws power from the Armour's Arc Reactor.
This is Vicus's most powerful weapon, but it draws a lot of power and needs to be charged before firing.

Missile Swarm: (located in Right Shoulder): A launcher that fires several small homing missiles for combating fast moving or flying targets.

Smart Bombs: (located in Right Shoulder): Small Floating Mines that can be planted like C4. Mainly used to discourage attacks or for Traps.

Laser Sword (located in Right Forearm): A Energy Sword for Melee Encounters or just for cutting though Metal at the cost of Armour Power.

Dart Gun (Located in Right Forearm): A small Dart Gun that fires a Weaponised version of the Power Suppression Serum to short out Superpowers and other Superhuman Traits (Magic, Bio-Enhancements, Etc) for a brief period of time. (About a minute or two)

Minigun (located in Left Shoulder): A 20mm Shoulder Mounted Minigun with Armour Piercing rounds used for general combat.

"The Ex-Wife": 1 Shot (Located in Left Shoulder):

A Rocket based off Justin Hammer's Design used for Larger Targets for Massive Damage.
Best thing is, This one ACTUALLY WORKS!

Shotgun: (located in Left Forearm): a Wrist Mounted Shotgun for close encounters.

Mortar (Located in Right Knee): A built in Mortar Launcher that fires a exploding shell on impact.

Sentinel Force (Located on Spine): Several Small drones that provide suppressing fire or recon.
EMP: While Vicus can protect himself against EMP Attacks, but if he is taken off guard and affected by one, it will knock his entire Armour Offline for quite some time.

Armour Power: If too much power is being used or drained, the Armour will go offline.

Hacking: as a AI, Vicus can be affected by hacking, though it is not easy.

Armour Damage: Heavy Damage to Key Parts will force all weapons housed in them to go offline.
Replusers are unaffected.

Overload: Overloading his Armour with Power will knock him offline.

As Storm cleaned his visor he looked at the robot/AI thing. "Well that was annoying" Storm said as he heard Viscus rumble on about him and the mad king. "Oh blow it out of your exhaust pipe!!!" Storm yelled from on top of the ship holding his dual wield pistols (They're from Halo: Combat Evolved by the way...so it is DAMN powerful.)

All the ships turned their weapons towards Viscus. "Alpha make sure you double the power to comms and them emit them in the air surrounding the ships...afterwards concentrate on hacking that bucket of bolts whilst we blow him out of the air...water...ground, whatever." Storm said as he jumped off the ship and onto the ground in front of Viscus.

Alpha had already worked on making shields surround the ships so they would be safe no matter what. Even if Viscus hacked Storm's armor he would be able to move and work his weapons.

If Viscus still had emotions, He would be amused by the amount of Illogical strategy and tactics that the group employed, Shadow being the only one in the group to actually attack him, the 5 Exploding shots slipping in before his Shield came online.
Still, It wasn't enough to even stumble the Machine, at least at this phase.
After some risk calculation, He assigned a New Target: The Villagers from Puce's tribe.
Compartments opened up all across Viscus's Body as he armed his entire arsenal and marched forward engage.
Code:

Several small droids that seemed like smaller legless versions of their master flew out from behind Viscus and opened fire on the Earth Constructs in front of him.
To combat the Air and Fire Constructs, Viscus resorted to using Shotgun blasts as they swooped down to attack, His shield deflecting any projectiles they threw at him.
Meanwhile, his shoulder mounted Minigun rotated 180[sup]o[/sup] and watched for any Sea Monster related Attacks from the rear.
While the combined effort from the entire village failed to do any damage, let alone any meaningful damage, It *DID* keep him busy and off everyone else.

Shadow sighed as he ejected his spent clip and pulled out another clip this one with hollow point rounds. He then put the new clip in, cocked the gun back, took aim, and fired five more rounds at Viscus.

If this didnt do much damage to Viscus he had a few other tricks.

Kyre stood silent as the fight went on. Her body seemed stiff and unresponsive. It had seemed so easy before, fighting, but now she found it hard to even wield Talon or Blade. BlackHarte formed himself back into corporeality next to her, standing tall in his humanoid body.

"Master, rest. This is not your fight, not yet," BlackHarte hummed, moving forward quickly. His hands melted into the ground and began to coat the earth with black amorphous liquid. Replication, replication, replication. The technomorph hummed in unison with each part of it's body.

And then when it felt that he had reached reliable mass, BlackHarte launched a DDoS attack on Viscus, spamming every one of his ports with uncountable requests for packet data.

Kyre herself stumbled and sat on the ground, frozen at the display of magic that Puce's villagers were displaying.

Kyre was shaking when Kurumu reached her. Each transfusion of energy that lashed out at Viscus from the villagers hit her like a wave. She was drowning in the magical backlash, her null-magic field completely useless as keeping her internal void secure. The same ability that had one crushed enemy Mages under the weight of their own mana capacity was now doing the same to her. Kyre turned to Kurumu, "Stop... Don't touch me. End the fight... quickly." She pressed her hands heavily on the ground as if under a burden, "I'll be fine. Just, fight!"

BlackHarte moved quickly between the constructs, trying his best to support the villagers. Replicate, they thought to themselves, moving ins sync as more and more nanite units spilled forth from the earth. Disorient, a second order, as each of the nanites let loose a different radio frequency, clogging up the air with thousands of addresses and pings. Assimilate, BlackHarte's body swelled and flowed through his arms, he reached up into the sky with massive hands and tried to grab Viscus from the skies.
