The Escapist Avatar Adventure: An Open RP (Now Re-Opened!)

Shaun.
Location: Fancy hotel in Western Australia/Perth.
Time: 7 pm-ish.

"Killing does not resolve anything. It only makes more!" He said flipping the chair, revealing a backpack of his, he heard the signel. "Riki and Kud... I know they can handle themselves well" Shaun said as he quickly washed his face in the kitchen sink, he also closed his laptop on the desk next to it. The only thing he needed to do was to act quick.

"You mind if I change clothes... I got blood on these." He said but got silence. Shaun walked into the closet and closed it (It was a walk in wardrobe) he put on his usual casual clothes but also equipped his katana and mask.

Then as quickly as he could he kicked out the weak wooden door and dashed for the laptop, which he grabbed first and his backpack which he placed his laptop into. He dashed to the balcony overlooking the pool. "Crap" He muttered as he turned around and put his hands up.

Riki & Kud.
Location: Rising Dawn Airship. Canteen.
Time: Night... about something 1 am.

Riki.

As Riki sat down and Puce introduced himself, he also inspected the man. "Umm yeah, Riki Naoe... also I wasn't the one making you guys go to ruins. That spirit suddenly came up and gave us this goal. Ugh I got a feeling it is going to be a pain." Riki sighed as he looked towards the two girls in the kitchen (It doesn't mean that). "So who is that girl... does she mean anything to you?" He asked.

Kud.

"I'm sure he can, I'm sure he can... I think" Kud added to the end as she watched Kurumu spike both bowls. "It is a bit weird here... but I think I can handle it?" Kud responded to Kurumu. Looking at the stew for a while Kud started to feel awkward "Do you need help with anything." She asked with her blue eyes.

Mark smiled and raised his weapon at Shaun. So he thought he could run -- and he gave up 5 seconds later on the balcony? HAH! Suddenly, smoke filled his eyes!

Braden sprinted through the room, blasted Mark with the shotgun sending him reeling backwards. His gun flew into the air and clattered across the room. A girl Cried out somewhere off to the side and Braden blasted her, too. Slinging the rifle over his should he spear tackled Shaun and they flew over the balcony.they fell through the air together.

They surfaced after hanging underwater for a moment. Shaun began swimming to the edge of the pool and Braden followed close behind.

They instantly made a mad dash for the car that Braden had borrowed from his friend. A police car.

Braden started it up and drove off at 100 KPH. They were safe.

As the two quickly entered the car and sped off, Shaun was glad that he was alive and out of there.
He did not care a slight bit for his so called 'comrades' as they got shot during the escape.
They were planning to kill Shaun if possible, and Shaun knew that would cause Mark a bit of pleasure.

They were as bad as Dark Tomoya if they were going to do that.
Evil and Corrupt.

Shaun was also glad that his true best friend Braden had rescued him and that he didn't befriend them too much.
Or they would befriend him, otherwise Shaun's bacon might have not been saved at all.

Sighing, Shaun began to dry himself with a towel from his backpack.
He also looked out at the river beside the road leading towards Stirling highway and then back to Braden who wore a half mask (A Bally's red mask... google it!).

"Well... that ended well. Good thing I didn't pack much other then this crap." Shaun sighed as he finished drying himself and offered the towel to Braden as they stopped at a light. "Also thanks for that but... what now?" He asked Braden.

Braden smiled. "Now's the fun part." He looked out at the river. The sun had set and the true beauty of Perth had revealed itself. Lights dottet the river and littered the shore. Boats, buoys and houses.

He looked out at the little lights in the trees far off. more secluded houses. He felt at peace. He did so love the night.

He wound down his window to let the beautiful, warm summer air in. It smelled smokey and grassy like he remembered.

"Now we go out into the night. See all those lights? They're each a place. SO many of them. Too many to possibly search. I know of a place we can go where we'll be safe. It's small and cozy. Warm, but not too warm. The night air can waft in, too." Shaun looked at Braden for a moment. He chuckled. Braden was the kind of person who remembered key environments and activities, even smells, and associated them with a better time. He could lay in the open night air and not have a single unpleasant thought until sunrise.

"I can honestly tell you this, Shaun... They can't possibly find us. Not with the gear they would have access to. We should be set for a while."

"What is more I can sense things deeper in your mind. Though you might try to hide it, I can still sense it, like a ghost."

The link however did work both ways... as Aftan beard the voice in Teri's head so too did Teri heard the thoughts in Aftan's mind.

"I am not Jenny but I can try to help if you would like to talk about it."

[sub]"Ain't that right Ms. Gravel?"[/sub]

Teri shifted uncomfortably under Aftan's gaze, and looked down in pain, "Ms. Aftan, I appreciate your concern for me, but I don't think that my problems matter much at the moment. We've a war going on. My personal problems can wait. I probably just ate some bad eggs, or something like that. I never did like eggs anyhow. Anyway; I need to get my tablet and get some sleep. That'll be the only way I can get my spells back; you know. Good-day!"

The young cleric twisted out of the Light Knight's grip, and began to powerwalk her way back to the Canteen. Without speaking to another soul entering or exiting the place, Teri grabbed her Tablet and began walking down the hallway; and soon, breaking into a run when she was fairly out of sight.

"Never again! I am NOT going to let any of those Knights, or anyone else for that matter, get in my head again!"

Bitter tears began to run down her face as she continued to run; Bruiser's mocking laugh filling her mind all the while.

"Found a sewer system that links up to these tunnels I can get out of here! So I win either way. Yay Me!

Of course, in her panic and grief, Teri did not realize that she was about to run directly into the very man she had tried to avoid. Before she could stop; Teri found herself crashing headlong into Rugal.

Once he felt someone bump into him, he was somewhat freaked.
"Who's There?!....Show Yo-[sub]Dammit[/sub]...Tell me where you are!" He said as he placed his back to the wall and got into a stance, facing 90 Degrees away from Teri.
"I'm warning you. I'm the still the most dangerous person on this ship, Vision or not! now tell me who you are before I get myself a new pair of eyes!" He threatened, though Teri could see he was actually somewhat nervous.
Also, she could see the pair of empty eye sockets, that was not a pretty slight.

The booming threats didn't help the young Cleric's condition; and only sunk to the floor in a sobbing heap.

her tablet rang out clearly, despite her crying,

"I din't see you, and I was running too fast, and I was just going back to my room for a nap and I know that's against protcal but but-"

The Tablet let out a series of electronic shrieks and babbles as the girl continued to cry on the floor;

"Please don't punch my head off. I know I can be irritating, and a little ditzy at times; but Ms. Slindis is teaching me to be a medic; and I'm trying to help out there and-"

[sub]"-So I win either way."[/sub]

More electronic minutia rang from the tablet; and Rugal thought, for a moment, he could hear bits of a familiar voice:

The summer air of Perth was indeed warm and bright just as Braden said.
The way they travelled was unknown, because no one would find them...
And even if they did they would be supplied.

The highway opened up to the two as they drove towards their HQ for now.

3 Hours later.

The small road opened up to a small concealed port.
At the end was a nice beach with a jetty leading to their new home

The boat was pretty good.

It had a small kitchen.
Bathroom.
Two bed.
And a deck.

It was portable and nice... and came with it's own beach.

As the car reached the beach part the two got out.
"Damn... how did you get all of this stuff." Shaun said as he grabbed his bag.

Rugal's expression changed to one of confusion after he heard that.
"....Bruiser?.....Hello?!....Are you there!?....Bruiser, I swear to god now is not the time to Bullshit me! Get over here and help me if you are there!" He shouted out across the hallways.
Teri froze where she sat, *He* was on the ship?!
"Ain't nothing gonna stop me. Remember that." rang out from the tablet.
"BRUISER! GODDAMMIT! I WILL TEAR THOSE STEROID ABUSING NUTS OFF AND RAM THEM UP YOUR ASS IF YOU DON'T GET HERE, RIGHT NOW!"
And he was coming over....to help Rugal....with her perhaps?
"-So I win either way."
"For the love of.....Wait.......Is that....a recording?..." He asked densely as he tried to figure out what the hell was going on.
He kneeled down and attempted to find the source of the Voices using his hand.
Captcha Bonus Line: "Move over. I think your standing on it." He said as his hand soon found her tablet.

While David was trilled to be able to spend some quality time with Elena, Twilight? First movie she picks is Twilight?
Still, He sucked it up and carried on, can't be any worse then that time they fought Satan's second in command or something.
Besides, He was the sort of person who enjoyed Steven Segal Movies, like he could complain.
"Sure, I'll place an Order in the Canteen, still have no idea where Dillon got those waiter robot...thingys..." He said as he ordered room service and got Twilight up on Netflix.

As Rugal took her tablet, Teri looked up in desperation, her 'voice' still ringing from the Tablet;

"He's... Here? Bruiser's here? Oh God. Oh God no... Please, give me that tablet back! It's the only way I can talk to the world! It's the only way I can warn them! If's Bruiser's here, than we're in serious trouble!"

[sub]"So, Fingers or Toes?"[/sub]

When she weakly tried to get up and grabbed the Tablet, but the King of Fighters held it out of her reach; and lightly pushed her away. Her knees buckled beneath her, and the Cleric fell; tucking her knees into her chest in terror and rocking back and forth.

"If he is here; please don't tell him I'm here... Don't tell him I am here. I... can't... Not again. Not aga- %OTOUWETOI#($*(#%&$(!)!(@)$()@#%*# SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEONK!"

Her Tablet made another god-awful Din as she fell into despair; and Bruiser's voice boomed from the device, making the girl cower in fear.

Rugal felt the Tablet with his hand, his fingers going over the "Demetri" Engraving before Teri had her episode.
The repeated Voice Clips of his Resident Strongman and her sobbing painted a clear picture of what happened.
"...So you're her....Teri Gravel..." He said, recalling the File that Bruiser took with him.
A pang of guilt flared up in the Crime lord as he hear her sob on the ground in front of him.
".........It's alright....He's not here, I was mistaken."
He soon Knelled down and offered the Tablet back.
"Come. Let's get you to your room." He said, attempting to comfort her.

Rising Dawn, corridor.

The Preacher walked down the hallway back to the infirmary, footlong sandwich and Coffee in hand. Humanity's greatest innovation this. He was subtly juggling the two objects in the manner of a lecturer twenty minutes late for work, careful not to drop or spill anything. In spite of this awkward mobile dining setup, he was able to bite his sandwich. The skills he had mastered over centuries were nothing compared to the dexterity needed for this ancient skill known only to the true footlong connoisseur. Thank the Lord they had spare pickles.... The tranquility of his moving lunch was shattered by Rugal's rantings.

"BRUISER! GODDAMMIT! I WILL TEAR THOSE STEROID ABUSING NUTS OFF AND RAM THEM UP YOUR ASS IF YOU DON'T GET HERE, RIGHT NOW!"

"Oh great. Guess I have to guide the Black Sheep back to the infirmary then". He slightly hastened his steps towards the Medical Wing.

The young Author continued to shake in fear as she took the Tablet back from Rugal's grasp, "*sniff* *sob*

She tried to back away from the Cartel Lord, but stumbled and fell on her back. Curling up into a ball, her sobbing increased again,

"I've no power over them anymore! They're free now; I promise! They took a life of their own long before Red Mage showed up. They're not mine! [sub]Please. Please... [sub]Don't hurt me.[/sub][/sub]"

Tajuh was taking a small break from ensuring the ship ran smoothly when he heard the voices down the hall and approached with caution. Hrm, it looks like the author suffered some trauma that's resurfacing here. It looks like Bernstein's being well-behaved, but the girl clearly needs some rest without any dreams. His movements were quiet enough that he couldn't be heard, but Teri could see the man approach with an implacable look on his face.

So these are the Gods then....Yet, Bruiser was able to hurt her this bad.... Rugal thought as he walked forward blindly after Teri as she tried to escape.
"I'm sorry to have frightened you. When your tablet spoke I thought that was him. Yes, I know who you are but I can assure you, I have no intention of harming you. I know better then to randomly attack those are reasonable for our existence. It's okay, You have my word you will not be harmed." He said to try to reassure her as the Preacher walked in on the scene with Rugal unaware.
From where he was standing, it looked like Rugal was attacking her.

"I do love Sirloin with some roast Turkey", The Preacher took another bite of his sandwich as he turned the corner to the hallway the two were standing in. As Teri looked towards The Preacher, she could see him standing still, quarter-eaten footlong in one hand, White Mocha in the other. As he quickly surveyed the situation, his chewing slowed but his facial expression didn't change. Teri could just see his eyeballs behind his glasses scanning the situation, making sure it was what it looked like.

"So....*munch*" He slowly swallowed, "Should I just draw my sword now? I did just spend half an hour making this masterpiece."

"Who said that? I know that voice....Is that....Preacher?" Rugal said, turning away from Teri, his hands reached out to stop him from bumping into anything.
"Where are you? This isn't what it looks like. I was mistaken...Dammit, WHERE ARE YOU?!" He shouted as he stumbled right past Preacher as he enjoyed his foot-long.
Tajuh couldn't help but cringe at the sight of "The only man to kill Tomoya" now blind as a bat and completely worthless.
The entire group could walk away and Rugal probably wouldn't notice.

"So....*munch*" He slowly swallowed, "Should I just draw my sword now? I did just spend half an hour making this masterpiece."

Tajuh silenty shook his head. "I'd finish that sandwich. After all, it looks delicious. As for you, Teri, we can not have one of our medics running around the ship panicked. Go to one of the rooms and get some rest. That's an order." He gestured to the personal rooms down the hallway to the left, clearly expecting her to head there.

"And Captain, it would do you well to recover for now. We've still got some time until we arrive at the temple, and we need you to be as sharp as possible when we head in."
