Akane did as instructed, heating and curing the blades required. Her voice came out very soft and quiet.

"Please... Be gentle with him. He may look gruff, but he's fragile. Baka."

After the man fell under, Slindis lightly prodded the man's chest, noting multiple areas where bone jutted out. [color=c20000]"Blade."[/color] She did light slices to reveal the man's damaged rib box, applying light healing soells to staunch the bleeding. The drow began realigning all of the bones, with the sleeping drug doing much to prevent Jake from feeling the pain.

[color=c20000]"Teri, try to slowly release the healing magic on the realigned ribs. You only need to touch the areas that were damaged, nothing else. We don't want some of the bone to get stuck in any of the organs."[/color]

Cortex and Bison listened to the Bard's tale of the fate of his Loved one, Though the look on his face remained somewhat bored, like he heard this before.

Inuart seemed a little confused.
"Pardon?"

[color=b4b400]"....Oh....Well, when you do get her body back, come back and I'll beat the death out of her!"[/color] Cortex said, perked up and confident, With his life assured, he had nothing to worry about any-more.

Klaara paused and plucked the shell of a crab from her lips and eyed the Dramatist suspiciously. Putting down all of the broken and shattered crustaceans and placing the instruments of their disembowelment on the table, she placed her fingers so that they interlocked with each other before beginning to speak, "You say that..." she began, "but tell me Mark. What does it feel like to actually be a Writer. how does it feel to have dominion and responsibility over someone other than yourself. Over persons wholly dependent on your for their survival."

BlackHarte's face was blank and pale. It seemed as if he were in great pain, but on that end he said nothing. His deep green eyes were dim, and his lips were thin and dry, "Master Kurono, she did not consume my spleen. Only a majority of my liver, a kidney, my pancreas, and parts of my small intestine."

Kyre popped her head around the corner, a small smile gracing those bloodstained lips of hers, "Friend Kurumu, why are there two of you?"

BlackHarte placed his hands on the girl and pushed her aside, there seemed to be something unsettling Kyre when BlackHarte touched her, and she slunk away into the shadows again.

"In seriousness I personally have no solid footing on why young master is acting this way. She is not mentally unstable, her hormone levels are completely normal. There is no abnormalities in her system... save for her hunger only satiable by devouring human innards." The technomorph rubbed his hands together, some of the color in his skin had returned, and he was currently mending his torn and bloodied clothing.

His eyes sparkled in the darkness, a glittering green that pierced the darkness he was watching Kyre lick her fingers of what little blood was left on them, the Anti-Mage seemed to be lost in ecstasy, "I believe the best course of action is to feed her while I try and figure out what's going on. So that is what I am doing, should she become extremely desperate, she may assault any of the other humans aboard this ship."

Inuart was thrown off by how easily Cortex was willing to listen to his plea, but persisted; "Well, her coming back to life sounds great; but there is also the problem of her... Er, condition. If she came back in that state; she'd probably tear this place apart. Er, I was wondering if the pits would be able to reverse that too..."

Med Bay

Teri did as she was told, quietly placing minor cure spells on the bits of rib that was pointed out. Dimitri made himself useful in pulling up an anatomical chart from the internet, and had it ready for reference as she did her work.

Cortex laughed at Inuart's response.
[color=b4b400]"Rest Assured, Even if I wasn't the brilliant mind I was, there would be little she could do to us, We are professions, My Musically inclined friend. See, the main objective of the Pit isn't revival but reversal. When ever anything happens on a Cellular level, It's forever noted in that cell. For example, When I brought that Intern back, His cells was reset to the state they were in before I blew his head off.
It's also the reason why Bruiser is now in the body of a 10 year old, I left him in too long.
So what I can do is leave her in the pit long enough for her cells to go from Dead To Demonic To Normal.
What can I say? I'm awesome."[/color] He bragged in front of the Bard, his dreams of his beloved becoming ever so close.

Inuart's eyes widened at the prospect of his love walking again; and looked to the other two men, "You said this could happen I work here, right? What do I need to do, and where do I sign up? I'll do anything to have her back again; even if it involves any of those things the Brute mentioned earlier. Anything."

[color=b4b400]"Well, I heard before our Boss headed out something about breaking into some US Army Bases and smashing their Gear and Weapons so they have to buy it from us instead. Still don't know how exactly he plans to do it, but still, waltz in, break the guns, waltz out. Childs Play if children broke million dollar military property."[/color] Cortex explained as he finally got his burger without sauce.
[color=6c1504]"With a global threat provided by Tomoya and his forces, I think you might have met him, the USA will pay us greatly if they have to purchase from our group. We intend to force them to play us. Would you be willing to do that?"[/color] Bison asked, checking if Inuart was going to get cold feet.

Inuart's expression darkened for a moment, thinking he wasn't being taken seriously again by those around him. Looking at all three of the men around him; he spoke calmly, but a hint of something that wasn't quite right followed through with his words; "I told you before, gentlemen. I would do anything thrown at me, if only to see her again. I mean that in every since of the word. You want me to break guns, I'll break guns. I'll destroy cities. I will slaughter whomever so much as irritates you. It doesn't matter. My blade is yours, so long as the deal is kept. That is all. Are my intentions clear? My world is not complete without Furiae being in it; and if this works... I will do what you say, to the syllable. Now, tell me what I must do."

And thus, the bard found himself under a New Empire yet again. But this time, he was certain his work would bear fruit.

While Teri worked at healing each one of the broken bones, Slindis went for the Cure Minor Wounds wand and patched up the small bleeding areas, then put the sternum into place. [color=c20000]"Teri, heal that bone and then we can heal him up. We can hand him some potions if there's any damage to the lungs."[/color]

Heaven

Devon finally woke up after being knocked out by Lucifer, and the air in heaven had healed up most of his injuries that he had taken in. His left arm was still extremely numb, but he could barely move it.

"Oh man... what did you do to me?"

Teri worked diligently to finish up her work, and when Slidis came in to patch up the rest; Teri gave a sigh of relief. Following cleanup and the other base procedures, the young Cleric slumped into a chair in the hospital and shook her head, looking at the tablet, and her thoughts silently sending text to Dimitri (IE; he receives the prompt, but the feed to everyone else is cut for the moment),

"Phew! Between fighting Fire elementals, making you, and hacking into a terminal; I'm bushed! I kind of hope that Slindis doesn't have anything new for me today."

There was the sound of bits of text flowing across the screen, which was close to laughter in Teri's book, and the AI responded back:

"It would bode well to be prepared, Madam. Things will not be so easy in the temple. Remember that. Ah! Since you're finished with your work for the moment; take a look!"

The progression graphic appeared again, and displayed all three of the programs fixed to full condition; and looking happy as ever.

"I figured it would be a pleasant surprise, after your work was done. After all, you do worry about them more than I."

The Cleric couldn't help but smile, and continued to watch her little creations dance on the screen as she awaited the next challenge ahead.

Jake coughed a little, tails swished in the background, and Jake came to. He opened his eyes to see Teri absolutely wasted and slumped in a chair. Slindis finished up and Jake felt a bit sore, but otherwise great.

"Thanks girls. I'll try not to get so hurt in future, eh? You two need anything, just ask me. You too Akane, you helped. So, do youse want me ta rest up, or am I cool to go? Ouch, still a bit sore I think..." Jake said as he sat up.

Akane hovered in the background, twisting a tail between her hands. She wasted exactly sure who to hug first. She decided on the other Author, fair glomping the young lady in the chair.

"Thank you thank you thank you so much!"

The young green-haired elven girl looked at the ears with purple eyes and giggled at the older girl's shock. "Whatcha doing in here, Silverhair?" Kud could smell a little bit of dust on the girl then gently took the blade out of her hand. "And why are ya using this? You don't look like you could harm a fly, much less swing this the right way!"

Slindis nodded at the human. [color=c20000]"Well, before you jump into something like that again, please know your limits. I can understand your desire to help, but passion without skill results in a corpse more often than not."[/color]

Wasn't Akane in the Canteen when Teri had her first freakout with hugs?

Teri squirmed uncomfortably in Akane's grasp; clearly not enjoying the embrace she was in. She tried desperately to work her way out the Kitsune's tight grasp; but could not get her way out. That was when Dimitri stepped in (sort of) and turned on the speakers of the Tablet, to which the Kistune heard a prim sounding voice say; [color=3897E0]

"I am not trying to sound cross, but My Lady is clearly not enjoying the gesture you are giving her. Please, let go. Also, I'm cutting your link for the moment, Madam. Your mental wavelengths might override this console again."

"Thank you Dimi-"

The girl's words cut off as soon as the link shut; and Teri finally wormed her way out of Akane's arms. Her face looked pale and her legs wobbly, as she promptly limped to a nearby trashcan and vomited what little stomach contents she had that day. When Akane looked at the tablet for a brief moment to see where the gentlemany voice came from; she could see a screen covered in text (before the mild admonishment given by the butler) covered with the words:

"Don't Touch Me."

and similar variants; in different fonts, formats and headings.

Location: Rising Dawn, Armory.
Time: Early morning.

The ears on Kud's head disappeared (Well they were not there to begin with) as she saw the green-haired elven girl in front of her. Once the katana was taken out of her hand she had no reason to not speak. "Umm... o... I was exploring the rest of the ship." She fidgeted a little due to her shyness and looked at the young girl again. "I was... umm... playing with the sword. It's because I like anything which is japanese... but I want to learn how to use it!" She said with confidence. "but... Who are you?" She asked in a soft voice which pierced the silence of night.

Devon frowned as he tried thinking of what he could do. "I dunno, maybe something like controlling water or wind? He began awkwardly posing, feeling like an ass in front of Lucifer before stopping. "If you've got a better idea, that would help a lot."

Tajuh walked to the bar and grabbed a bottle of whiskey before taking a seat near Puce. "Hell, never would've thought I'd take some of Dr. Daniel's specialty." Ignoring the glasses in there altogether, he began drinking straight from the bottle.

Slindis saw the distress that Teri was under yet again and sighed to herself. [color=c20000]I really must be pushing her too hard. Nonetheless, if I go easy on her, she'll be the main target in there.[/color]

The paladin cleared her throat before speaking up. [color=c20000]"Teri, as your teacher, I'm ordering you to get some rest. In here this time, so I can ensure you're fully rested."[/color] She points to one of the unoccupied beds, clearly expecting for her to go there.

Armory

Melethia looked the blade over, frowning as she did so. "I don't know who these Japanese are, but they're horrible at making a blade. I mean, it's sharp, but it's brittle also, and what good's a sword that can only stab?" She puts the blade aside, clearly displeased with its craftsmanship. "Anyway, you look kinda... weak to be using a blade like that. Maybe I can help you look for something better?"

The young girl searches through the weapons, not very pleased with any of them until she returned with a shortsword. "Oh, I'm Melethia. Nice to meetcha!"

"I don't think I understand what you're alluding to," she picked up a mussel, " but that has little to do with the heart of the matter. I want to write Sav back into reality. Do you think that's something that can happen? Of course this is accounting erasing everyone's memories of the previous incidents involving his unfortunate passing."

The red headed Anti-Mage slipped out of the darkness and grabbed onto Kurumu and hung onto the Succubus, "I'm full Kurumu. But I want to taste everybody, I want to see if they all taste so good." The blood stained her face and hands, but not much else. Her leathers and hair were pristine, and her teeth were as white as snow. Her own eyes sparkled with an untarnished joy.

BlckHarte bowed quickly, "I will do my best Master Kurono." And then immediately moved to exit the engineering bay to replenish his biomass stores.

Erm, technically yes, but she was interesting in bacon at the time. Everybody else had it under control.

Medbay
Akane took a step back and faltered. She hadn't meant to frighten the poor girl, but to thank her!
"I'm sorry I'm so sorry I didn't mean to -"
"AKANE! Stop. You dun goofed, it's okay, I'll sort it. She evidently doesn't like being touched. Go outside and give her a bit of time, apologize rationally over dinner." Jake intervened.

Akane nodded shakily and left without another word, twisting a tail quite hard in her hands. Outside, she ran into her two knights by chance. They instantly noticed the lack of cheer the kitsune had.
"We need to go. I hurt Teri-sama after she did her best to heal Jake! Let's go to the observation deck." she nearly wailed.

For someone who hadn't really dealt with people properly in several centuries, perhaps the Knights weren't a good benchmark for touchy feely interactions.

Back in the medbay, Jake merely watched his fellow Author throw up. "You know she was only trying to thank you. I'm sorry she upset you. To be fair, that was my first move when I got up though, but I'll refrain now for your sake. Do you need me to summon anything for you, make ya feel better? I'm feeling up to little things." Jake said softly, his rough voice full of caring.

Teri wobbled as she forced herself up and over to a hospital bed; and gestured weakly to the Tablet. Jake hurried over to the Tablet and handed it to her; to which Teri's 'voice' sprung to life again.

"Ms. Slindis; this has nothing to do with you.... Please, don't blame your training for my weakness. Also, Jake, a glass of ice water will be more than sufficient."

She rolled over on the bed, not wanting to look her allies in the face as she shook; as if she was cold.

"It's because of my ability to not deal with things of the past that I'm like this. It's why I can't talk. It's why I have to rely on a computer to communicate with the world. It's why I can't even touch people without feeling sick! I'm pathetic and I hate myself for it. So, if anything, Ms. Slindis, Jake; blame me for not being strong enough."

Bitter tears streamed down the girl's face as she said all of this; still intent upon looking away from two people she regarded very highly. However, a whirring noise came from the Tablet, and a familiar AI began to speak:

"Don't Dimitri."

[color=3897E0]

"But please, Madam. Your word choice was vague, and quite frankly; is not like you. I will not stand for it. If you do not give the proper cause of your symptoms to your friends, then I shall have to do so. It is for your own good."

"Dimitri; don't make me do something I'll come to regret."

"Very well. If you can silence me, you cannot silence Sir Jake, or Lady Angelus, or Lord Caim, or even the brute himself. You cannot silence any of them; and I'm certain they will tell their portion of this twisted tale if you will not. Is that not right, Sir Jake?"

Jake handed Teri the glass of water and then knelt down in front her, at eye height. His voice low and steady, full of power and raw emotion.

"Teri. I know what Bruiser would have done. I've talked with Angelus. I've seen her burns. And you know what, everyone, everyone came to rescue you. We did rescue you. So toughen up. You are strong. How the hell can't you be, you're here! Look at where we are right now. We are in our highest fantasy, and our worst nightmare. Hell, I've broken down three times since I've been here. Angelus nearly fried me over it. Aftan broke me when she said Akane helped humble her, words that I wrote. I broke down when I told Akane of the other Kistune I've created over the years, and realized the hell I'd created for my other characters. But here I stand. I'm resolved to protect everyone. I promised myself I'd protect you. That's why I charged in there today. I didn't fear for myself, I feared I'd lose you. I stood guard at your door yesterday, so you could get a proper sleep. Dammit Teri, I'm sorry but I need your help I can't do this shit alone. If you can't believe in yourself, then believe in the Me that believes in You!"

"So wipe away your tears, take my hand, and be the person you really are. Author. Cleric. Teri."

Teri looked up at Jake and saw a man standing there, brown leather jacket with the collar turned up, radiating sheer belief in the girl before him.
