May 11th, half an hour after dawn
~A Holiday Inn
Reisen's "connections" had gotten her and Youmu booked into a small hotel room. Youmu slept the whole night through, but Reisen had been busy. She decided it was time to start letting her new friend in on her plans. "(Listen,)" she said, finding it more and more liberating not to have to use English. "(I have good news, and I have bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?)"
"(Wait. Why this sudden announcement of good and bad news?)" Youmu cocked her head in confusion, the light next to her bobbing up and down faster than normal. "(And why did you stay up so long last night? You can't have just been staring at the moon...)"
"(...I think I'd better start with the good news. The good news is, I've been in touch with the people who got us together and they say they've found a way to get us to the Mana Bar at the right time. The bad news is that you're too unstable to teleport by their method any more. If they tried, you'd probably be killed. Permanently.)"
"(So what is their solution?)"
"(They've booked us some tickets on an 'air-plane'. Someone will be along soon to take us to where it's starting off. They've even seen to a way of making sure nobody knows about your swords, because you can't really take them on.)"
"(Wait. So they're going to fly us over?)"
"(I think so.)"
"(...Why don't we just fly ourselves?)"
"(That's not so simple, either. Aside from the fact that it takes a lot more effort to fly in this world, someone would probably see us. And we're raising enough eyebrows as it is.)"
"(...Do you think there'll be time for us to eat anything before we board the plane?)"
"(They're picking us up in two hours. That should be more than enough time. And one other thing: Try and let me do the talking. Most people here would probably try and hurt you if you so much as uttered a word of Japanese, and you can't just kill random people...)"
"(It'll be fine! What could possibly go wrong?)" With that, Youmu almost sprinted out of the room, heading for the restaurant. Sighing, Reisen followed.

The plane flight will not go as simply as they think. Hint: You'd be surprised at how good recolours are at fitting in, even in places where they'd normally stick out...and they're tough beasts to kill. And I used one earlier that still has a bone to pick with Youmu.
