A massive squid like monster rose from the depths of the ocean.
"Oh my god it's a Big Octo." shouted Ryan
Ryan then jumped out of the boat and activated his rocket boots
now normally he'd let the other heroes try to handle this but The others were dazed and confused and none had a ranged attack that wouldn't destroy the boat.
Ryan first flew up to Zero
"Take out his eyes, I'll handle the tentacles!" he shouted to Zero.
Ryan's Blade them began to glow bright red.
Ryan then flew in circles around the massive Octo, his sword was inside the water causing the waster to shoot up, as Ryan flew higher the water flew with him Creating a massive curtain of water.
"Wings of the Sea Dragon."
The curtain fell splashing water into the monsters eyes, now even though this shouldn't bother a squid but the Water had Ryan's storm flames meaning the squid was now blinded.

Ryan then flew through the writhing tentacles, every one that got close to Ryan was sliced to pieces.
Ryan blade began to glow brighter and the Blade appeared to get longer with each strike.
"Charge of the Dragon."

A small raft slowly drifted across the ocean, a peaceful lulling of the boat was compensated by the sound of an acoustic guitar, whistling and...screaming. Screaming? That wasn't right.
Frank put down his guitar, his gas mask resting beside him, a heavy beard cast upon his face.
"Why can I hear shouting, and roaring, and crashing?" He muttered rhetorically to himself, looking around, all he could see was Ocean, then he turned around.
"Oh that's why." He breather, seeing some sort of giant squid pummeling boats.
And then he saw a familiar shape going at the sea monster, giving the tentacled fiend a good hiding.
"Ryan, Ryan Ryan..." Frank tutted, "you have been busy..." He chuckled, a thick Russian accent fusing with his traditionally English one, all that time in Kursk had really played him about, having changed his way of life, his eating/drinking habits, and more importantly, his language.

Frank leaned over to a footlocker on one side of the raft, and opened it up, quickly searching through the contents.
After throwing out two footballs, a bag of used undies and a carton of dated milk, he finally came upon what he was looking for. A specially modified AK47, fully equipped with Eo-tech Holographic sight, dual magazines and a strange looking bayonet mounted under the barrel.
He smiled to himself, tugging it out of the foot locker.
"Come on girl, you better still be alive." He mumbled, and was met by a strange humming noise and a buzz.
"That's what I like to hear!" He said with a grin, and brought up the AK to aim at the huge squid.
"ooh, almost forget." Frank said, face palming. He knelt down and attached jump leads to the magazines of the Assault Rifle, connecting them to a car battery.

"Hey Ryan, old friend, need a hand there!?" Frank yelled over to his friend.

As long as he used this technique to remain in this dream world, using too much Qi would shorten his stay. However, he did have a 'cheap trick' of sorts to deal with this. As such, Dragon threw a kick up at one of the tentacles. However, he wasn't so much kicking the tentacle-especially since he was too far from it, but kicking the air causing a bit to arc into a blade and chop the tentacle right off.

He nodded in satisfaction and went to work on another group of tentacles.

Meanwhile. In Paris. At night. Underneath something. Probably dirt. In a bunker. That did indeed have bunkbeds.

Twelve is not a particularly important number. It is six to the power of two and three to the power of four. Twelve is an even number and as such it suggests balance and equality. Thus for twelve people to lead an organization implies that each of those twelve has equal importance. This was true for the meeting that had just unfolded. Each member, of whom there were twelve, had just voted unanimously to approve something. This something that-

"Hey!" Yelled Isaac. "Can we PLEASE get on with my reintroduction! You are dragging this out so fucking much..." Isaac left the sentence hanging. It choked to its death.

All right I, also Isaac, agreed and continued writing. Isaac was one of the members of the group of twelve people involved in the meeting and he was just leaving the room flanked by his robot companions Curly and Quote, also members of the group.

"So we are finally coming back" said Curly.

"That we are" said Isaac. "At long last, we return. Now flying under the banner of the IBA, or Isaac's Big Army."

Isaac walked with the robots out to his car, currently a red 1980's Audi Quattro. Isaac started the car up and they drove out of a underground carpark and into the open air through a large sliding door. As they slipped out onto the street the door closed. And then, two minutes later, exploded in a successful suicide attempt. The door that is. It's funeral would be held two weeks later. Such an awful tragedy. No one even knew it was sentient let alone having such thoughts...

Ryan turned to Frank and smiled
"Frank I'd never thought I'd ever see you again Let me warn you most of these heroes are complete noobs." a tentacle lashed out at Ryan but he dodged it without even looking."
"Anyways If you want to help shoot it's Eight red Eyes."
"Why are they red anyway?" asked Zero who was in the only tentacle Ryan wasn't going to attack
"I'm handling the tentacles so it cant attack, but it won't die until its eyes are shot."
"Zero start shooting If frank bails you out you won't get stronger."
As such I'll give him the simple version.
while looking for a lost hero named Youmu Ryan's airship crashed, we now appear to be in a strange dream world. we were heading to an island when a big Octo appeared.
Also Ryan is trying to teach the new heroes how to handle themselves so Ryan Only fights when needed like right now, also I got the feeling that others think Ryan's just acting cool.

Justin held his hand up grabbing a mutifruit from his bag and consuming it.

"I'd prefer a light meal for the morning, if I eat to heavy in the morning I tend to need to take a heavy dump in the afternoon and that will cut into traveling time." Justin said patting his stomach, cringing at the thought of his sensitive digestive system.

"Suit yourself" Ken said eating his steak, and serving Mrs. Glados the smallest one.

"So, just to make things clear to you" Justin said in-between bites of horribly mutated fruit which surprisingly tasted like a sour potatoes. "The fan boys that are taking the role of raiders are ordered to shoot on sight, so if you see any don't hesitate to tell us, its better we get the jump on them."

Ken nodded finishing off his steak and washing it down with a nuka cola. "Sounds like plan, I'm all packed so I'm prepared." Ken threw his plate into the fire standing up and grabbing his minigun he stood up, looking very formidable in his power armour. "We should start moving; we have a long way to go."

"Sounds good to me" Justin said throwing the mutifruits... core? Away and brandished his lever action rifle.

Justin, Mrs. Glados, and Ken started heading south west towards where the pentagon was located.

Since I don't have much to add, and I don't want to seem dead, I'll just add more to Alice's backstory.

Alice was sitting at the edge of her bed, black tendrils swirled around her, protecting her from whatever was happening on the outside. The ship had shaken and fallen, but she had not noticed. The nanobots worked furiously at repairing the vessel. She was alone again, and time moved far too slowly.

"What happened after I was rescued?" she asked.

"Data files are purposely locked. What you may find is not what you may wany to remember. Do you still want to continue?" the suit replied.

Alice's whisper was barely audible, "Yes."

---

A klaxon blared and filled the room with flashing red. She shifted her hands and pulled her self to a sitting position and looked around. Alone again, with nothing but the soft pumping of machinery behind the walls. She moved her finger slowly, motor functions had returned after countless sessions in the exosuit. Katherine made her way into the room in full armor, helmet clipped to her ammunition belt.

Alice smiled and waved.

Katherine's face was grey with ash, and a small red mark ran across her left cheek. Worry wrought itself firmly in place of the usual smile.

"Are you ok?"

Alice nodded.

Katherine looked back at the entrance, "Where's your suit? We have to go."

Alice slowly removed the covers and set her feet on the floor. She got up and pressed her hands against the wall. The white fabric extended itself over her body and set up.

Katherine picked up Alice and walked out of the room holding her in one hand and rifle in the other. Fire and sparks filled the hallway, Katherine turned around and unloaded a magazine toward the smoke before turning around and running.

"Alice listen to me," she said while moving quickly through the ruined halls, "they've come for you."

Alice stared blankly at Katherine.

"I'm sending you to Navy Headquarters. Tell them they are coming, they discovered us again, do you understand Alice?"

Alice nodded.

Katherine kicked open the last escape pod and placed Alice in and strapped her into a seat.

An explosion rocked the ship and threw Katherine back. She lifted her rifle and fired a single shot and it shattered the lock mechanism on the pod and the pod sealed and launched. Alice looked out at the ship, smoke and flames irradiated from the steel grey vessel and a larger green organic mass of metal slowly drifted over it.

Alice held her breath as she watched the last of the ship she had lived in for the past few months detonate with the force of suns, sending blue shards of superheated metal and corpses in all directions. Then the pod accelerated into faster-than-light and left the wreckage for whatever destination the pod was preset.

---

Alice drew breath slowly, reliving memories was exhausting and unnatural.

"Katherine, dead. No..."

"Would you like for me to administer any medicine?"

"No, no. Even after all this, I still don't know who I am."

"The more we delve, and the more you remember. The more you will understand why you are here."

Alice closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "Replay memories regarding the station stay and Dijad Iths."

Soon the villains were making their way towards their destination prepared to deal with whatever crossed their path. After walking for about an hour they came across a raider camp undetected. "How should we deal with this? It's going to pretty hard to sneak past them without being detected," asked Justin to the others. "I think I got a plan," said Ken. "I'll sneak around to the other side of their camp and create a distraction with my gun. Then, while their occupied with me, you two attack them from behind. What do you think?" he asked after detailing his plan.

Jack and Farrago worked hard to keep the lifeboat afloat as it was being lashed by tentacle after tentacle. Farrago was desperately trying to start the engine whilst Jack shot and sliced away at any tentacle that got close. Just as Frank showed up on his raft and Ryan activated his cheap move of awesomeness, Farrago got the engine going.

"Hang onto something!" She shouted as she gunned it, swerving in and out of the giant creature's tentacles, but Jack had nothing to hold onto and fell off. He recovered in midair and lit up in flames as he hovered and drew his sword. "I've had enough of you, sea monster of dreams!" he muttered and charged. He dogded every tentacle thrown at him and landed on the giant sea monster's head.

"Second Rage, Burning Single Pillar!" Jack called out, stabbing the monster in the head with his flaming katana. A giant pillar of flame shot down from the sky, immolating the monster. It screeched and fell, burnt to a crisp. Jack grabbed his katana and leapt off it, aiming for the lifeboat. He landed in a perfect three point pose with his katana held behind his back, right next to Farrago.

"Show off." Farrago huffed as she steered over towards Zero, now freed from his tentacle. An island appeared in the distance as she stopped and Jack hauled Zero aboard.

"Next stop, that island!" Farrago called out. Jack and Zero looked at each other and grinned.

"Aye Aye, Captain!" they both said, laughing their heads off.

Ryan landed on the ship
"Ah it's so refreshing to feel the thrill of combat." he said.
"That move sounded very Reliant on the situation," observed Jack "It looks like it's only able to be used when the enemy is in a pool of water."
"Well I just created that move so yeah it was pretty specific."
"Wait you created that in the middle of the fight?" asked Black Dragon. As a swordsman he was impressed, It would seem That Ryan had created his own style, and was making moves to suit his needs.
the beach was very close now but someone was a little upset.
"This thing had an Engine, and YOU MADE ME ROW THE BOAT." Scott yelled at Jack
"Oh yeah I thought you were a douche in your movie."
"Yeah me too," stated Ryan "That's why I didn't say anything."

"Well, at least the boy learned his lesson by the end." Said Dragon while he started up his jetmoto and drifted along with the rest of the group. While the battle took up a good amount of his qi, he still had enough to last him a little while, however it was getting to a point where he'd have to search for a means of replenishing himself.

And it wasn't like he could just do some qi-gong in a dream world anyway.

"Funny story that: One that needs music...." Dragon trailed off.

Cue kickass background music [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTzUAd_UxDQ]

The following is actually based off a pron site I joined-I have no idea why I'm even mentioning that part... Uh anyway, just thought I'd put that out... Anyway

"My travels eventually brought me to a land called Felther-a land of elves that was under attack by an ancient evil known as Tonomas, which was basically an army of demons that was being led by Felther's queen who was possessed by some ancient evil or some bullshit. The point is, I had to collect a bunch of elf chicks to deal with it and lead an army to deal with the evil..."

"Yeah yeah, but what about the ring?" Ryan cut in.

"I was getting to that... *ahem* During the final battle, the possessed queen increased its power level by absorbing the life force of everything that died in the last battle, so I ended up using the ring by combining it with a powerful sword they happened to have-which looked a lot like Glamdring and the evil died. So, in order to keep things peachy, I left the ring there for them to use in emergencies." Dragon finished.

"Oookay, so where's this Felther?" Ryan asked.

"A damned long way from here, I'll tell you that." Dragon answered.

Ryan's storm flames flared up with amazing power
"YOU DON'T LEAVE A MEGA POWERFUL RING IN THE HANDS OF STUPID PEASANTS."
"Now now it was a really evil queen you must understand, I couldn't leave them defenseless.
Ryan took a few deep breaths
"OK OK I'm cool I'm fine. They probably can't use the ring anyway."
"What?" asked Black Dragon now feeling like he cheated the peasant village.
"Don't feel bad the rings are very particular not just anyone can use them, You were Chosen to weild the power of the Ring, besides once we get out of this we can retrieve it."
The Boat landed on the island
"Good I'll find out what's happening you look around but DON'T TALK TO ANYONE AND DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING.

Time: 10 minutes after the others arrive on the island
Location: Other side of the Island in the middle of nowhere

Tomoya was laying on the beach with his belly full, a roaring fire and a wooden sword beside him, "Ugh, those oysters killed me and that damn crab pinched my ass" Tomoya calls out to himself, suddenly Tomoya heard voices coming in from the deep jungle coming from inside the island, Tomoya readys his sword as he hears something brush against the thick jungle bush that he was facing and then...

"Eeep!"

A Wild Monkey appeared!

A small monkey, startled at the boy's sudden appearance, did what instinct told it to--throw poop. Tomoya quickly ducked under and slashed at the bush, the monkey only jumping and climbing the coconut tree next to it. The next thing he knew, ballistic coconuts rained down from above, Tomoya dodging and slicing them whenever he could. Finally the chimp's supply ran out, and Tomoya looked up and sneered, making an obscene hand gesture above him.

That is, until something wet and smelly landed on his shoulder.

"FFFFFUUUUUUUUU...!!!!!" The yell reached Zero's--no, everyone's ears at that point. Zero was the first one to perk up at the sound; he knew exactly who that was.

"Everyone stay here and help Ryan! I'm getting Tomoya!" He ran off towards the cry and left the others to their own devices. Twenty minutes of hacking and slashing at bushes later, he made it to the other side of the island and saw Tomoya being bombarded with coconuts and who-knows-what from several monkeys, the latter screaming at the poor boy as they threw and the former catching sight of Zero trying his hardest not to laugh at the scene.

"Don't just stand there! Fricking help me!" Tomoya cried as he parried another coconut that ricoched off the nearest tree and to the side of his head, and Zero lost it. His LOL'ing, however, was interrupted when one of the monkeys saw him and threw a coconut at the side of his head.

Conk-k-k-k! The noise vibrated in and around Zero's head as he blanked out and crumpled to the ground.

Tomoya facepalmed.

"You idiot...you better not be dead!" Tomoya ducked more missiles and ran over to Zero, who still had that stupid smile on his face, and shook him to get up. "Zero, I swear to God...!" He resorted to punching him, which didn't seem to work until he punched Zero right in the forehead gem. It sparked, then glowed aqua blue. Tomoya gawked and got up and away from him, and the monkeys ceased fire.

Zero floated off the ground into an unholy avatar-state-looking (if you get the picture) stance, his head was hung down but one could see his eyes shining white and his irises gone. He struck one hand out towards the ocean and a huge tidal wave came up close to the island. The monkeys dropped everything and tried to screech away, but the water Zero commanded was faster. With one gesture he sweeped them off the trees and carried them to the far side of the island, dumping them in a mass of jungle. Then his forehead gem stopped glowing, and the aura that held him up dissipated, dumping him on the sand face-down.

Tomoya figured this would be a good time to wake him. "Yo, Zero..."

"Hrghnwha--?" Zero blearily lifted his head up. "Where're all the...?"

"Monkeys?" Tomoya answered, slightly grinning. "Let's just say they got 'carried away'. You alright?"

"Yeah I think so. Slight headache though." Tomoya helped Zero up, the latter brushing sand off of himself.

"So I take it since you're here, everyone else made it, too."

"Yeah...oh yeah! We just beat this huge squid monster and now Ryan's gonna find a way to bring back Youmu. Hope she's alright..."

"Why do you care so much about Youmu all of a sudden?" Tomoya questioned as they headed back through the brush.

"I don't." Zero answered blatantly. "One: she's a comrade, and two: she shows promise with sword fighting. That's all." Tomoya gave him a sly "I-don't-believe-you" look, which Zero countered with a poker face. The duo continued on their way to find their other comrades.

It's almost like being drunk...i-if I can describe it that way *is underage, doesn't know*. Anyway, that's a bit of power development for ya. Zero can kick some major butt when he's unconscious...or something. I should really head to bed. Really.

Ryan took Black Dragon, Jack, Frank, and Farrago. He left Scott to mind the boat. well thats not what really happened.
Ryan got out of the boat.
"Mind the boat."he said to jack
"Mind the boat." Jack said to Farrago
"Mind the boat." Farrago said to Black Dragon.
"Mind the boat." Black Dragon said to Scott
"Mind the-" Scott then realized there was no one else to pass the job to so he just sat down.
and back to the present
Ryan was now talking to a local about the whereabouts of any powerful beings
"Well the greatest being in the Great Ocean is the Great Wind Fish."
"I see, and how would we meet this wind fish?"
"Oh he's asleep and if you even tried to wake him
We'll kill you "
"Wait what"
"Oh if he ever wakes up we might all disappear You see This ocean this sky everything is a product of his dream, and if you awake him anything that he dreamed of will disappear.
"Oh crap then how do Me and my friends leave we're from the real world.
"Oh that's happened loads of times. Don't worry about it."
"Oh good, how did they leave?"
"Oh they didn't ever leave, some tried but got lost at sea, some went crazy, but a few just accepted they couldn't ever leave and stayed here."
in the back of Ryan's head he knew he was having trouble, they couldn't stay, but destroying a whole is;and full of people. That wasn't heroic at all.
"Then how do you now the wind fish won't awaken on his own?"
"Oh that's easy, we put spells on him that can only be broken by a spell, which we separated into three parts and put each part in a dungeon on a seperate island.
"So you built three dungeons on three different islands just to put three peices of paper that contained a spell that caused your dooom? why ot just destroy the paper?"
"Oh that'd be ridiculous why would we go through the trouble of doing that?"
"But what if someone collected all three pieces?"
"Oh that won't happen the dungeons are very dangerous."
"Well thank you I'll tell my friends everything I learned."
Ryan then returned to the boat, He wouldn't say a word until he had everyone listening
once that occured he told them the whole story, their faces were mixed some were horrified others looked guilty.
"So what do we do? I'll say this now if one of us thinks we shouldn't do it then we don't, we must all agree on what we're about to do."

"Hm... Well, I'm using a technique that's letting me remain here as a spirit, so once I run out of qi- I'll end up leaving." Dragon remarked, mostly to himself. Then he looked up to the others.

"This is what I suggest-we go and gather the others before doing anything else. Sure, it'll take a bit longer, but we can actually get us out of here without sacrificing any innocent lives. Sound good?"

Ryan looked at Black Dragon his face into the familiar lines of sorrow
"I'm afraid that won't work Dragon. These people are part of the dream, there ancestors were real, but the children were fabrications of the dream, and the dream people had children who were also dreams. as such when we awaken the Wind Fish they'll end because they are with the dream. all real people will awaken with the wind fish, It's a powerful spell, but it's at the cost of losing this paradise."

That's what I get for not reading very closely. This goes nowhere, so I think I'll just put this to show we're back.

"Yeah, sure is paradise with monkeys throwing crap at you." Remarked a voice from the bush. Everyone turned to see Tomoya and Zero emerge, brushing leaves and sap off them. Tomoya stepped forth to Ryan, continuing his statement:

"Look Ryan, I don't think this so called 'paradise' even wants us to be here. Ever since we came here someone, or something, has been trying to kill us. The squid monster, the wild monkeys..."

"...not to mention the looks people have been giving us." Zero finished, exchanging worried looks with Tomoya at the memory.

Ryan looked at the two sternly. "Yes, granted, maybe the dream has turned a little haywire. But that doesn't mean all the people living here are guilty. There are still innocents living here descended from the first dreamers that built this world."

"We know. And whether or not this is your dream world or theirs, you have to remember that we have our own missions to carry out, both personally and as a team. We came here to rescue someone, remember? We have to get back to DC and fight the villains, right? Dreams are dreams, Ryan. Eventually, you have to wake up..."

"There are generations of people living here. It took years to build this paradise. You expect me to just end a whole civilization just so seven people can escape?"

"They're just dreams, Ryan. They're not real, Ryan. They're expendable, Ryan..." Zero's mind buzzed with harsh phrases he yearned to tell him, but he couldn't. Tomoya, sensing Zero's partial distress, brought up his first point again to try and reason with Ryan:

"What we're trying to say is, people or not, something wants us out. I saw it in a movie once. The world around you...I think it's part of your subconscious? starts to twist itself in order to spit the intruders out one way or another. Now I don't know if we'll fall into a coma if we get killed here, but in any case, we need a way out, and fast. I'm sorry, I can't guarantee the safety of the residents. Anyone have any other ideas?"

"We could go summon that Wind Fish..." Zero solemnly stated between the hand on his face.

"...that. But we're trying to find a way to escape without destroying the place. Anyone else?" Tomoya looked at everyone expectantly.
