The soldier fell to the ground and slowly melted(?) as the others looked on.
The Minigun Man ran up to Dillon and shouted "Jou bliksem! Jou bliksem! jy moet net vermoor Kenny!" Before the Figure in the Trench-coat pulled him back and shook his head at the Heroes, motioning them onward.
The soldiers stared on.
Justin and Glados both looked at Ken Justin smiled as he clasped hands with him. "Ken god damn its good to see you.
"Excuse me?" James said "I don't think you heard me right, I'm not the... Ken you know."
Justin raises an eyebrow suspicious. Ken never lied to Justin before... Or he never found out about it. "Well I guess we can tell you a few things, but-" That was when a red light glowed over the elevator and it opened. Weskers voice came through the speakers.
"Justin, Glados, you two have... Visitors... I'm not you're secretary, get up here at once and deal with them."
Justin walked towards the elevator. "One thing you did was nuke los angles so I dunno if that was a mistake or not." Justin and Glados stepped into the elevator and it closed. It ascended to where their guests would be waiting for them.
James sat in a chair after Justin and Glados left to think over things. "Well it seems this other version of me was friends with those two. It does seem beneficial to do the same so I'll consider that option. Also it does seems that the other me did destroy Los Angeles, which would explain I only remember releasing a huge amount of energy before passing out. Well with that out of the way I guess I'll head back up, see if I can get a place to stay here," he said before getting up and heading toward the empty elevator. When he thought he was on the floor that he started on, he got out and saw people that he didn't know were heroes gathered together. Curiosity getting the better of him, James walked over to see what was going on.
Youmu heard footsteps from somewhere, and turned her head to look. Someone human - well, more human than the guards - was walking towards the group. She cocked her head, trying to work out where she'd seen him before...
The Tyrant kept staring at the growing crowd, ready for anything.
He gets a message and then lets the heroes in.
MeanWhile
Doom looked on from a nearby Cliff, watching and waiting for the Heroes to clear the way for his attack. "So we got two Anime Wanna-bes (Tomoya, Dillon), An REAL Anime Wanna-Be (Youmu), Some guy with a ninja (Boss and Edge) and that Dragon and her Final Fantasy Fan-Boy Rugal wouldn't shut up about (Caim and Angelus)...Doom is going to enjoy this..."
You know, the intensely funny thing is that Drakengard is published by Square Enix, so the accusation isn't exactly far off.... Also, Rugal talks about Caim?
The two took a look at the group that was leaving, and the dragon 'messaged' to Caim, "Run along with them, human. I will watch the outside and make sure the beings here won't attempt anything... Less than reputable."
Caim nodded and quickly ran after the heroes. The dragon lifted her nose to the air after he disappeared down the elevator shaft and said, "I can smell you. Come out, and state your business. There is no use hiding like a rat."
Doom soon appeared with his robot's in tow. "*****, turn and run now and i will pretend that i didn't just hear that!" he fumded at the dragon.
The Tyrant walked over beside Angelus and stared down the enemy.
Dillon waited in a large room, it was good because he had planned a demonstration, h had two Tesla cane with him, his own and a prototype.
Dillon had managed to smuggle his weapons though they were in a backpack and out of sight.
Dillon paced nervously he really wanted this to work."
Wesker Watched the Heroes on the Camera's all along the Whole Lab from his New Security Nexus.
"Great...the Angels are here already...I'll have to test the New Serum I made...Hehehe...thank you Adel Bernstein..." He chuckled to himself as he watched on.
I know this slow narrative is good for plot and such, and now I can watch the movie proper. However, even though this will make me seem like a stupid kid, I do just want to get to Camelot soon. I have plans for this arc, and I'd rather we get to the point. Most of my arcs tend to train wreck, the Dream sea (when i was still Ryan.) failed, the madness of Dillon was better. here though I have set pieces but no set ending, not quite we have an end goal but there's no rules on achieving it.
I have some jokes and songs I have a solution to a song that makes me laugh.
Dillon could tell he was being watched. This was between him and the real owners of aperture.
Dillon waved his hand in a Jedi motion, and then with no subtlety zapped the camera.
Wesker found himself staring at static. and the mike only lasted long enough to hear a taunting laugh.
The mysterious 'visitor' had found the domed structure lifeless, uninviting. The door outside had said 'main power', but no power seemed to be coming from it. Although it couldn't return the feeling, she felt somewhat sorry for it.
Well, no matter. She could turn it back on, temporarily, until someone came to fix it properly. Placing her arm through a nearby hole, she started to push some energy down it. The mini-star she'd placed inside it would power up the facility easily for long enough to implement a more permanent solution. Satisfied that everything was working, she continued exploring the wide open space below the earth.
Main Facility
Everything suddenly got much brighter in the room where the heroes were, and the corridors outside it. In one of those corridors, GLaDOS started to smile evilly, and whispered something in Justin's ear. Slowly, he started to smile as well.
I definitely remember Ynnek bringing up something about the power being cut, and GLaDOS therefore not being able to run the facility and its walls remotely. Well, problem solved. Use the gift wisely. Or don't, whatever works.
The dragon laughed and gave a low growl, "HA! A human like yourself sure has a lot of gall to think himself on my level. Me, a keeper of time and fire, living thousands of your puny lifetimes. And lo, you bring lackeys. Not only are you arrogant, you are a coward! I can't quite say which I think is worse! Now tell me mortal, what is it that you so desperately want that would cause you to antagonize myself and this... Gentleman, beside me? Speak quickly, or I may not choose to forget that you appeared and let the Heroes below become aware of you pestering. I know not who you are, but you surely don't mean well for them..."
Meanwhile, with the main grouping of Heroes Caim could feel a distinct feeling of unease about himself. He knew damn well that the dragon was beginning to embroil herself in some kind of trouble, and there wasn't much he could do about it. He didn't remember the way back to the top, or the way that they found the elevator. Besides, what if the group was the only thing keeping him from being attacked by the 'employees' of Apeture? Caim's hand rested anxiously on his sword's grip, as he began to feel adrenaline begin to course through his body. A battle was coming, and Caim didn't think any form of communication he would attempt to make to anyone that wasn't the dragon would go through.
In case I didn't mention this earlier, the two have a very distinct bond; as per the telepathy. I have also believed that this works similarly to the Empathic Link ability used in D&D. That is to say, the two can tell perfectly well how the other is feeling, to a point; until of course, one happens to mention why they feel so happy/cranky/etc. Caim is very jittery as per his dragon being tense. Feel free to have someone comment on it.
"You don't say?" Justin said as he heard the humming of power confirm his wife's joyous news. Glados snapped her fingers and a light turned on above her and Justin's head. "Welcome..." Justin said triumphantly as the walls around them shook off dust and shone the bright white walls.
Dillon looked up and cursed. Those were the two on his airship alright. "Uhh Hello."
"Greetings!" Glados said stepping forward, having several of the test observation cameras pan over to her. "Welcome to MY LAB!"
Wesker in his security booth cursed as the screens all filled with Gif of Nyan Cat with a turret body. Music filled the halls and the Heroes looked at the pair both smiling deviously.
"What can I do for you?" Glados said her voice cheerful and wicked.
"We came to make a deal" Dillon said getting his barrings, the sudden rave-esque music, and jarring shift in Glados's character left him stunned.
"A deal? Deal? What are the things to deal with?" Glados said, her mind whirling for the first time in a long time, the core was active, the network was waking up, and she had control once more in her world that was spinning out of control.
"I brought this." Dillon said holding up the Tesla Cane, and walking across the room to hand it to Glados, Justin stepped forward and walked across the room to examine it thoroughly before walking back to his wife whom examined it with zeal.
"I see I see! I SEE!" She giggled as she ran her hands along it. "And what do you want for this trinket?"
Dillon felt a little frustrated, Ryan's mighty Tesla cane being called a "trinket" but swallowed his pride. "I dunno" he said shrugging "we were hoping for money, perhaps technology?"
"Technology? We have plenty of that here." Glados said "This is a place SCIENCE!" A panel slid open and out came her two robots, Atlas and P-Body came out holding a portal gun. "How about this?" Glados said.
Well I dunno when I saw Leet's post I decided to go with Glados regaining Aperture control, seems like her character thing to do, although it may be alienating wesker, I guess I'll see what happens... ALso I won't be on for a while because tomorow is my vacation, but I'll try to get a few posts in. GL HF guys.
Still, I think Wesker can probably find a way to make it work out - I've heard he has a knack for that. And Dr. Doom's arrival will probably create one hell of a distraction.
Youmu just stared at everything, paralysed by the culture-shock. Seeing the robots coming out of the wall was what pushed her over the edge. Barely conscious, she fell into a fetal position on the floor, as though she was hugging her ghost ball. Lacking her weapons, it was her only anchor on reality as she knew it.
Wesker slowly Managed to break his system out of the The Data Flow Glados and Justin had sent and the Nyan Turret disappeared from his monitors.
As he went to reclaim control of the Lab, he saw Doom on the Top-Side Cameras. "Ahhhh great...just what I need!"
Doom Stared down the dragon and smiled behind his metal mask, unknown to Angelus. "Oh Nag nag nag, Get the FUCK out of Doom's way!" he shouted trying to bait Angelus and it worked. "...and vulgar too, you are truly the lowest form of a human I've ever seen..."
And with that She went to attack as did the Tyrant beside her when Doom started to do jazz hands. "STOP!....Fingerlasers!"
And at that moment, his Robot servants hit the ground as Doom fired off several high powered lasers from his hands.
NOTE: Will Retcon if Desired.
They went clean though the Tyrant and Angelus, Nearly cutting though the dragon's tough hide as well as cutting straight though the shed that held the entrance Elevator.
The Tyrant hit the ground stone dead as Angelus roared in pain.
As she looked up, she saw Doom in the Air, thanks to his Jetpack, right before he shouted "FOOTDIVE!" and drove his metal feet straight at her head at high speed, knocking her clean out or so Doom thought.
He landed and said "God I am so Top-Tier..." Before staring the camera and singing
"Who's in the House?
Doom's in the House
Who's in the House?
Doom is in the House!, WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! as he and his robot's took the lift.
"The hell you don't..." Wesker said as he tried to lock down the lift.
[ACCESS DENIED] "WHAT!? BUT HO-" Then it hit him, Glados locked him out of security. He couldn't do a thing about the mad-man attacking. "oh you MOTHER-"
[sub]"-FUCKER!"[/sub]
Dillon looked up and asked "Hey Caim, did you hear that?...Caim?..."
Caim was uneasy for most of the meeting but the second Doom Attacked, he went competely nuts and ran straight our of the room, much to everyone's confusion.
Right, best list what Doom's power's are:
Jetpack
Can launch Several Bottle-sized homing Missile's
Can fire Lasers though his fingers or from his hands if he wants a more powerful one.
Can launch a large ball of Plasma into the sky like a firework which rains hot Plasma around everything underneat.
Can Summon a Human-Sized Blender...no, really...(It's a Capsule that traps someone a few feet in front of Doom and rips them apart with Plasma, the Blender thing is a joke made by the Fighting Game Community)
Note: if you didn't read my last post, I am NOT Playing Doom straight from the Comics but rather a joke version made on YouTube by Miles932.
Moves taken from Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, fucking love that game.
Bluerocker: just say the word and I'll retcon the whole "Angelus nearly getting killed thing" and tone it down
Dillon wasn't happy
"OH that's it
"YOUR F***ED!!!"
Dillon did a dodge roll, and disappeared behind an alcove when he reemerged he had his normal t-shirt, jeans and sweater on, as well as his backpack of supplies.
Dillon fired bolts of black lightning at Doom.
"I've had it with super-powered villains, they're over done and they make me have to god mod, why can't I just outwit them for once?"
Dillon not so expertly dodge rolled away from Dooms attacks, his body would be sore after this, but his Adrenaline and Dopamine made a good morphine for the moment.
Just need a portal gun to get zapped in the crossfire, and i'll have a plot device do the rest.
After Doom appeared, Youmu finally started to move again, crawling as low as possible towards the two robots with the strange device. Perhaps it could have returned stability to her life...
...if the robot holding it hadn't tried to snatch it back off her. Both of them started pulling at it, neither willing to let go, until both of them slipped at once and it flew into the air. All the pair could do was watch its trajectory and hope it didn't break, for two entirely different reasons.
Tomoya suddenly came out of a nearby closet wondering why and how the how he got in there, until he saw the portal guns in the air, "I knew this was going to be a bad day..." He spoke to everyone else who was looking at the gun too. "Well fu-" Tomoya was about to say as the gun hit the ground smashing open.
Then a giant portal came from the gun, consuming everyone.
Her getting hurt is one thing, but near death is another. She would put up a much greater fight than that.
The dragon roared in the anger at the assault, and charged at Doom, missing by a small amount, and turning around. "RAAARAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT INFRACTION, HUMAN!" Forgetting what grace and dignity she may have had before, the dragon snapped at Doom indiscriminately, easily taking out Doom bots whenever she missed her quarry. By the time the two did a full circle, all of the Doom bots were destroyed and in a messy pile before her. Her jaws began to flame a bit, and an explosion took form, taking out a large portion of earth and twisting the metal slightly at the entrance:
- Meanwhile, from Caim's perspective -
When Dillon first began to speak, Caim noticed a scream. An immense scream, ringing in his mind, and invading his thoughts; "AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!" At the sound of the scream, Caim's head shot up, and he immediately ran. He may have not known where he was going, but Caim somehow found his way to the elevator. Pushing the button without abandon, Caim was almost literally shaking in his shoes waiting for the elevator to get to his partner. When he finally arrived, his eyes widened and his teeth gritted. With a grasp of his sword, Caim yelled (mentally), "YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT, YOU SON OF A *****!" and charged recklessly at Doom. He had crossed the unspoken rule when one deals with pact partners; don't fuck with pact partners.
