Cryostasis, that game was not worth the $3 I spent on it.

Not only does it run like garbage, it looks terrible doing it. This coming from a PC that can run Crysis on high at around 50fps. My friends watched me play it for 30 minutes, I literally called every scare before hand. "In this part how much do you want to bet a monster jumps from the ice there?" Then it happens. It's just so cliche.

Colosseum: Road to Freedom, PS2
There are many many worse games than this one but this game didn't even try to be good. It tried to be average and failed to be even that. It ended up just being a sad knockoff of Gladiator with screwy combat and an uninspired customization system. The only thing it does well is its replay value but the game is so bad you don't want to rapelay it.

Medical Mayhem, Facebook
I'm not mentioning a Facebook game for the sole purpose of mentioning a Facebook game. I'm not the guy who's decrying the evolution of casual gaming on social networking sites; that's some other schmuck. However, this game is sub-standard even for the notoriously low-standards of the genre, and it was professionally produced by EA. You can tell some money was sunk into this casual title (especially the initial advertising budget) but the game itself is nothing. Even less than Farmtown, Restaurant City, Mob Wars, and the Zynga knockoffs of these. At least those show some noticeable changes when your farm or whatever. Medical Mayhem asks for real money for very little changes and... well, if you've played it you probably have the same opinion as I do (at least I hope you do).

cod
wow

anything which is remotely involved with activision as it breaks the industry corrupting it from the inside out with wow and cod any many other games which are just a way to make money with no innovation

call of duty is ruining shooters
wow has destroyed the mmo genre (but is now repairing)

they dont make games to be good they make them to be addictive

CALL OF DUTY no one says is good
WOW is well made but still way to addictive
guitar hero.... wait what you can become gods in the game... wait i thought this was about guitar playing oh so your done with that now..... well i guess it could make money and the fans will follow it

there are no games which arnt worth playing really as all give you something to think about and therefore worth while
even some of the worst games i have played like cod have given me something too look at and think about

one game called cryostasis has one of the most confusing stories i have ever seen and is something i would dream to miss but so many people told me to avoid like the plague
Pick two.
What I have, can you not read????

Could you simplify it a bit? It's hard to tell whether or not you want Cyrostasis, WOW, on there. I also need a specific COD game, and a specific Guitar Hero game.

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard. Awful gameplay and next to no actual humor.

Really? I'll admit I did not get very far in the game as I got really, really bored and I felt the story was uninteresting and told INCREDIBLY stupid. Flashback, walk around for a minute, a flashback that's the same as the flashback you JUST GOD DAMN HAD except with 10 + seconds of new content - repeat like 6 times.

However, if you can promise the story is actually good (or gets good) I'll play through it more.

ummm well i cant explain the story because its a bit of a mind f*** but it'll freak you out by confusing you i cant say much
combat is fine for me
graphics i liked
i do agree with awful optimization (due to its supposedly having the effects made badly and letting only one core work on it) but game still looks great on medium or low (lose out on physics stuff and water effects)

i didnt find scary but i dont find anything but you could try boosting volume because i did get a occasional fear twinge due to sounds in the distance
and the game really works around the sounds and volume due to the winds and such to blur out attacks which is really good

i didnt find too predictable as other games like dead space and condemned (only game which wasn't was random alma appearing behind you in fear 2 )

i would recommend it heavily as cheap time waster and after the game is completed you wont ever forget altho i would recommend looking up the story after

God I hate Matt Hazard. But my vote really shouldn't count.

Ape Escape 2. The controls are downright bad (and don't say they're innovating for using the analog sticks for everything) and the voice acting is annoying. I could go on about how bad it is, but the quality of it can be summed up in the title of the game...Ape Escape...

I totally don't love Ape Escape 2, and not willing to admit it's faults for an interesting premise of catching monkeys with jetpacks.

All I'm gonna' say is I hope the next studio can give better justice to the halo universe than Bungie did.

ET and Superman 64 are my choices. Many other peoples' as well I assume, although I expect a few nominations for Halo and CoD.

Edit: I chose them because they're objectively terrible games.
Have you actually played them? Everyone hears about them being shit, then just instantly agrees without knowing anything about them other than maybe what Wikipedia says.

Supreme Commander 2. After the advances made in Total Annihilation (TA), the spiritual successor that is Supreme Commander (it was very buggy for me personally, however I can let that pass with the stand-alone add of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance). Both SupCom and SupCom:FA are good games that pretty much follow the TA ethos, with a few changes here and there. I personally favour SupCom:FA because I didn't get any bugs with it at all.

Then there is Supreme Commander 2. Essentially it is dumbed down in every conceivable way. From the economy, the tech trees and units. It is a massive step down from the games mentioned above. The singleplayer story which was touted by Gas Powered (The developer of all SupComs and with Chris Taylor, the man who practially made TA) to be an excellent narrative is completely horrible.

I was horrified to play a skirmish mission to find that the tech tree and unit lists were very small. It was a very sad moment for me indeed.

Second place would go to the PC release of Unfinished Tournament 3.

Timesplitters 3. After the joy I had with 'Splitters 2 being one of my 5 favourite games of all time, the third installment left me feeling disappointed and bitter, I honestly hated that game.

Two Worlds: The only game I bought and traded back on the same day, I hated it more than any game I have ever played before, what was with the shoddy animations and terrible voice acting. It was honest to god unplayable!

Too Human sucks as well but you should play that if you like to spend 2 hours staring at the screen whilst you keep respawning into combat.

Bart Vs. The Space Mutants (yes i did have this as a kid, im old-school). It's broken. It's simply one of the most obtuce and unplaybale games ever concived. For more info see the AVGN reveiw.
Oh god, I have that game. It's nigh-on impossible.

However, I'll go for the South Park FPS on the Playstation, and...ooh I dunno. Maybe Runabout 2 also on the PS1, that game was woeful.
