Two Worlds: The creators slaughter ye olde English, and the combat is horribly copy pasted (every attack is identical, wielding two swords of fail gives you the same animation as wielding 2 swords of slightly less fail), and the game is just so anticlimactic.
I'll echo this. I bought this game for 5 bucks and was itching for a new single player RPG and felt ripped off.
There really is alot to name off, Two Worlds was the first one to pop in my mind. Having sat down and considered what other game should be avoided, (and many were considered) I had to narrow it down specifically to PC titles. I came up with Gangland as my second option. It rally excels nowhere and you are better off putting in GTA 1.

It's been said before, I'm sure, but I'm going to say it again, just for good measure; Shaq-Fu. The level of awfulness this game commands is nothing short of legendary, yet still, curious gamers who have never experienced the tragedy are drawn to it. Maybe it's the mystique of playing a game that many consider the worst ever, maybe it's grim fascination with a fighting game that stars an NBA player, or maybe it's just strong resilience to all the hype, the dogged determination that it simply cannot be that bad.
It most assuredly is that bad, and no one should play it. Ever.
I have to commend you on an original and oh so true choice in Shaq-Fu. That game was atrocious. There are so many bad games out there and it seems that my mind has blocked out alot of the really bad games from itself as trying to remember the worst games draws a blank. I have a few in my mind I can't remember the titles to and some that are on the tip of my "mind" (rather than tongue) but I can't seem to pull them out.
This is why I stayed away from consoles as the Wii is not the start of shovelware. Since home video game consoles have been around, shovelware has been pushed. It got worse with games going to CDs over cartridges. The amount of crap games on PS1 was horrific. PC also has a hearty list of shovelware games, but I wouldn't rank it on the same scale as consoles.
As for the "trendy" replies of ET and Superman 64 throughout this thread, Superman on the NES was way worse than Superman 64. I am not defending Superman 64 but throwing out that everytime I see it posted I just roll my eyes. I would honestly rather play Superman 64 over the one on the NES. As well, there was a portfolio of games similar to ET on the Atari. ET was special because of how overproduced it was in colaberation with its crappy quality.
