Every time someone mentions "The Basement" whilst welcoming a new user.

To make it fair, I think that should just be a single finger or shot each time, because whenever a new user is welcomed The Basement (takes one shot) does get mentioned a hell of a lot. The Basement (takes another shot) is a rite of passage for many here, and after all, there's only so much alcohol the body can take. A single thread would probably kill people without this little restriction. What with The Basement and all (takes a third shot)...

That is a good point, but then again adding up all these rules the entire community is going to be wasted 24/7. Which maybe actually be an improvement in some cases...

And don't forget to drink whenever someone posts in a thread that was meant for a different demographic(like when those 'a question to the females' threads were popular earlier this year, and they were full of guys saying what they thought girls would say).

- Someone quotes you and blows your opinion out of context, or puts words in your mouth.
"I think cats are the best animal."
"So you're saying all other animals are shit and need to die out?!"
- Someone quotes Yahtzee.
- Someone goes onto a thread not aimed at them and insults the topic at hand.
"Someone help me with this FFXIII boss fight."
"Throw the game in teh bin!!!!"
- Someone insults mainstream music.

I hope we get a choice in what we can drink though.
