We've been talking about that in the Badge Hunters usergroup. We think the Tech Team have just made a mix up and classified the out-take episode and the two preview episodes we've had as well as the 23 actual episodes as episodes of the series, since that would then make 26 episodes.

Well, they probably fixed the bug that gave the badge by now. It's what they did with Game Noir (it was like that before the big event), and it's what they did now. As for the Unskippable badges, I have no idea about that.

That's crazy. If you really want the badge(s?) then my advice, is go to the episode menu and open up every episode in a new tab. You needn't watch the videos or even wait for them to load, you just need to have been on the page. This way you can be 100%.

Having said that, what actually constitutes "watching X episodes"? Is it just being on the page, or actually hitting the play button?

Try it, and if you don't get the badges, THEN you can tell me it's an illogical solution. Just visiting the page is the necessary validation for the badges. The only other thing to consider is when you actually started watching them as they won't count towards your badges if they were watched before March 2008.

If you have ever had your account probated, suspeded or banned, you cannot achieve the Matrix badges (Trinity / Morpheous / Neo). Having a topic locked and/or receiving and official warning do not affect your chances.

Nor does any requested mod wrath, as it turns out:

@Zombie_Fish: It'll get removed from your history when you get back. You have a choice of duration too, either it can be for a set time such as three days, a week, a month, or it can be a Permaban which you then contact one of the staff or the mod who did it when you want removed. Once the ban is removed from your history it won't affect the Matrix badges.

Note that a permaban means you can't send PMs.

If you make this move, just drop one of us a message.

So if you ask to be punished you can still get the Matrix badges, thankfully for me.
