No Ian Dorsch music background music? I thought he was the standard for Escapist background music.

Is it any faster? Because the reason I hate the current dashboard is due to it's epic slowness, especially navigating the marketplace.

So they think people care enough about avatars that they'll BUY stuff for em?
Have you played Halo 3 on X-Box Live?

Look at all those little kids with large pocketed parents! The little boys will just have to beg their mothers for their little clothes for their avatars and their parents will buy it.

I would never buy anything like that.

Good to see that there are going to more items available for the avatars, hopefully that will go a little way to help them look more unique. I wouldn't mind dressing up my avatar in some Steampunk gear either!

Actually having to pay for some of the avatar items. Hmm, I'm not too sure about that. I usually restrict my XBL spending to DLC and demos/games. Paying for a new suit for my avatar seems a bit rich, really.

US only though eh? Ah well, guess that's just too bad.

And yet no word on the "Games on Demand." Feature that many people don't seem to excited about for some reason...

You see for me to do this I would have to go get an xbox live account, a wireless modem for the back of my 360 and of course a new xbox360 as my old one has died =P It would be fun if you could make/import your own avatar from somewhere else, like warcraft =D

Well I like the previous dashboard, but I think this will be an improvement for netflix. Some of the things like know how long a member has been using Xbox live seem kinda mundane but what ever. At least they are trying to improve their system!

I can't wait to waste more of my valuable hard drive space for another pointless dashboard update! If Microsoft keeps updating the dashboard and taking up my hard drive space, they can at least let me exchange my 20 gig hard drive for a 60 gig hard drive. I know that the dashboard updates don't take to much space, but I'm starting to run low and I would like to save my memory for games. This really sucks because I was hoping to download all of the Fallout 3 and Grand Theft Auto 4 expansion packs.
It's not like it's a new dashboard, it's just tweaks to the current one.

I'm actually very excited about it. I didn't cover it in the preview because the only thing in there at the moment are the Xbox Originals, so for the time being, it's no different than what you've already got.

*Sigh* How hard is it to just put a couple Dozen 6-7 Gigabyte games with their own menu in a marketplace and start it off? On second thought, that sounds very difficult.
