If I could be any villain, it'd have to be the king parasite from Slither. Of course, you could argue that the creature simply was progressing its natural life-cycle, but everything boils down to survival. Whether you're trying to murder people left and right (to create fear in those who would challenge you) or trying to blow up buildings full of people (who your religion deems deserving of death), it's all just an extension of the will to assert your own survival.

Big Brother from 1984. Nothing like a party just to gain power and keep it forever along with a spy force that knows everything.

The Joker... what, being bat-shit insane would be fun, no?

Though, Aizen is a close second, what with me being able to identify with his motive.

Yeah, you might want to have that throat looked at.

Darth Nihilus was piss-easy to beat. It was kind of disappointing.

Hmm...I'd have to go with Prince Xizor, originally from Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, the novel. He's my favorite kind of villain: suave, charismatic, cultured, highly intelligent; subtle, conniving, well-connected, and with nigh-unlimited financial resources. Additionally, he is an expert marksman, incredibly strong, and deadly in personal combat--but you'd never know it just looking at him.

More of a villain protagonist, but I call dibs on Artemis Fowl.
Darn you and your dibs! :shakefist:
You can get Butler.
Hmm, tempting...mastery of firearms, martial arts, and generally any conceivable way to kill a person...but I've already made my choice. I choose power of a far broader and more subtle type. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Xizor

She's never been caught for long an who else has made people say "What happened to the Statue of Liberty? It was right here." and also loots the past on a routine basis.

Oh she also leaves deliberate clues for the thrill of the chase.

Edited.

Randal Flagg.

He brought countless worlds to their knees, and most people were to afraid of him to do anything about it. He was also Roland Deschan's mortal enemy. There's points there.

Apologies if you don't know what I'm talking about; if you happen not to, though, read The Stand. Then read 'Salem's Lot. Then read the entire Dark Tower series. You'll get it.

One of the villians from captain Planet, so I can shake my fist and say "You'll pay for this captain planet!"

That was Looten Plunder who said that during the intro/credits. One of the most well-dressed villains of all time. I think he was meant to be a south african diamond baron who got too wealthy and powerful one day and decided that the planet had to die.
