The Expendables sucked??? Will you still see it?

I woke up this morning and saw my morning paper. On the cover was The Expendables and it only had 1 1/2 star! This movie I thought was to be pure gold and I was so looking forward to seeing it. Question now is, if I read a bad review is this movie still worth seeing?
O and the 1/2 a star is a slap across the face. Thats worse then not having the star at all. Its like saying you could have been but you weren't. Funny those were almost the exact last words my x girlfriend said to me.

most of these actors, though iconic legends, can't necessarily act anymore, and if given a shitty script to read from.... Well...

Reviewers are totally numb to the appeal of big-ass explosions which affects us mere movie going mortals.
They expect movies to have these things called 'plots'. Not sure what they are, but they don't sound very explosive to me. Heck they don't even sound the slightest bit flammable.

I think it received half a star too much for what it is. Sure, explosions and manly man brawl action is fun, but dedicating full length movie to it? Would be more interesting if all those male super stars were involved in manly love as well between exploding stuff. Would make it a lot more appealing.

As for the issue on board tho, when did reviews stated to be some sort of religion ? I never paid attention to what they say, usually browsing through them after i see things for myself to check if other's also share the feeling of disgust.

I'm seeing it, It's an 80s movie and I shall view it as such. I reckon alot of the negative reviews will come from the fact it's not the kind of movies we have today, it won't have a particular message or anything. It will be a bunch of brick shit houses destroying shit. Like the 80s movies.

I shall see it, and I'm betting I will enjoy it. Even if it's 'shit' I will find it fun.

Lots of action. Fairly high bodycount. Great hand-to-hand fight scenes.
The fact that this movie has a lower Metacritic than fucking Eclipse makes me really think the critics are out of their minds. But, oh well.
Go see it. You'll have one hell of a time but you won't remember much about it afterwards.

Those high and mighty reviewers probably looked for silly little things like plots and deep characters.

Ignore them and juts bask in the awesomeness that is BOOMBOOMBOOM, RATATATATA en...emm, whatever sound you can use to simulate awesome fistfights.
