Human beings are complex. They're damn crazy.
For one thing conflict. The modern homo sapien is about as naturally lent to combat as a new potato. No claws, puny teeth that they are unwilling to use anyway, and comparatively low potential for blunt force trauma/tearing. They ain't even well protected, a thin layer of skin and a ribcage for armour that is full of convenient blade sized holes is all that separates a mans lungs from the outside world, and yet, they spend more time and effort on fighting than any species on that planet, including ones that are born armed literally to the teeth with an array of claws, venom, natural chemical weapons, and enough armour to put a massive dent, nay hole in the most gangsta of 4 by 4s.
And social procedure. When someone says they want to go out, they could mean anything from needing some friendly help with the shopping to needing some really friendly help with their genitalia, when someone acts distant they can actually be madly in love to the point of having a private shrine that certainly warrants a dozen restraining orders and a straight jacket, when someone says their fine, it means they can't sleep, their entire mind is constantly screaming, they cry as soon as no-ones around and it hurts them to pee.
Basically, nothing in the world can ever hope to completely understand humanity. Least of all humanity itself. That goes for the males, the females, the both, and the still experimenting."
I though as slightly misanthropic rants go, this was pretty funny, especially the peeing bit.
Shame no-one saw it. And then I got a million quotes for stating the obvious about the haters vs bronies problems, namely that both parties need to get a grip. Typ. Ic. Al.
