When I saw this, I thought that gaming won't be any interesting or fun for me in the future.
No, don't get me wrong. I love working together with people to accomplish something big in a game. One problem.
The number of serious gamers in the world is one in a million.
Allow me to explain: games like Left 4 Dead, World of Warcraft, Dawn of War II, Call of Duty 4, .... all require serious teammates in order to achieve victory. That is why I HATE all of the above titles because the "welcoming party" are a bunch of 12-year old, snail brained immature KIDS who will immediatly brand you a noob if you like a title they don't (example of their stupidity).
I have looked around for months in games like L4D, WoW and DoWII but it is so hard to find serious people to play with. In WoW it is impossible to achieve ANYTHING without a serious party. In L4D when you run around like a chicken without a head you (AND THE REST OF YOUR GROUP) will die in a breeze. And in DoWII, .. well, same as L4D.
So, when I push the panic button for the future of gaming if developers remove the single-player campaign and release nothing else than co-op (or multiplayer) games, or games that require a team, many gamers (including myself) will most probably stick with very old games or find a diffrent hobby, leaving a bunch a brainless retards roam the gaming lands.
This isn't a thread about: "Whats your PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag?". No. I want to ask you your thoughts about this. I think it's very disturbing and I really hope I'm very wrong about the future of gaming.
P.S. A short while ago some twat found it necessary to say that: "I think too much". Again, give USEFUL comments, please.
