God I'm thinking either GoldenEye or Perfect Dark or Streets of Rage 2, only simply for the multi player aspect of getting my friends over and having a hardcore session.
Of course I had copious amounts of enjoyment with the rest like Zelda: OoT, Sparkster, Sonic the hedgehog, Mario Kart...
And of course hundreds of others but i'll stick to those main culprits. I am starting to think I cannot pin it to one title, as I played far too many as a kid.
And I would say Smash Bros and Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! but we still play them now...
Oh and Alex Kidd! Can't forget the original and best.

the Legend of Zelda games for the N64 (Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask), those pretty much made my childhood what it was, played through them countless times and still to this day the music in them is so freaking great i still listen to it, even have a seperate playlist on my mp3 player for it

mega man 1-6, the legend of zelda, the adventures of link, battletoads, faxanadu, and tmnt 2. all for nes. i got that system when i was 5 and ived loved games ever since. too bad nintendo has let me down.....

Sorry for the double post, but Ocarina of Time, underrated? It is one of the most critically and commercially successful games of all time.
