Hmmm, thats hard to remember. When I was younger I played Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros, and Ninja Gaiden on my dad's NES but I think the game that really got me hooked in has to be Banjo-Kazooie. After I beat the fuck out of that I got hooked

Well Metal Gear Solid was my Gateway and the deal sealer. If I had never played that game, I would have never have taken up Gaming as I have now.

Shadow of the Collossus.
You see im a younger gamer-15 years old-and when i got that game for the PS2 i was hooked on video-games forever. What amazes me, and puts a smile on my face everytime i read such things, is that so many people,critics, and reviewers praise the game and always speak of it in good terms. It just suprises me that the one game that really made me see how unique an experience gaming was and what could be done with games was actually something important in the short-but-sure-to-one-day-be-long-history of gaming.

Hmmm... Mario Bros. (yes, the NES one) got me into gaming, but not THAT much.

It was probably Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario Bros the games guilty of making me a full-time gamer. And Final Fantasy VII is guilty of having me play RPGs for hours on end...

Oddworld: Abe's Oddesy. And Crash Bandicoot. I spent hours playing those games, and then found there were more than those games.
