I'm 15 and normally play fps but my first game was at about 6 and it was.....
POKEMON! WEW!! YEH!!!ALRIGHT!!
Maybe the minor violence in pokemon lead to me being someone who needs a mound of enemies at his feet before he can call something "fun," who knows?

I'm 22, first game I played was Pong, on, whatever that pong only console was called, yeah, I played the original video game! It was so awesome.

Game that got me addicted to video gaming was Aladin on the Mega-Drive and the Sonic series, it pains me to see what they've done to it now

My first game would have to be spyro the dragon shortly followed with crash bandicoot. I was most likely 4 or 5 at the time and due to that i didnt know how to save and everytime i got on made a new game ;) I did however beat it at 6 after learning the menu has multiple options.

Well, I don't know the names of the games, as I was either to young at the time, or outside playing in the sun more often then not as my older brother hogged it, but I know I used to play some kind of 'demolition derby' game on the Atari.
I know I played several Super Mario games, but never was all that good at them.

The First games I truelly remember that I 'loved', and wanted to play more of, were of course...

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen
and
Warcraft 1.

I swear I played WC1 like, 4 hours just 'harvesting' to hear the orcs make funny statements. ;)

My first game was one of the hardest I've ever played, it was The Aliens Trilogy on the Sega Saturn, I love that console. I must have been around 5 or 6 when i played it as I'm nearly 16 now.

Just wondering, has anyone else played that game?

17 now... All i can remember of my first game is that it was Space Invaders and/or Missile command. I think it was Missile command first...

Ah, the memories. Now That was a good game :p

EDIT: First Game(s) that got me Addicted though? hmm... Probably Duke Nukem 1, 2 and 3D lol :p
Then also the early Sonic games. I still play the "Sonic & Knuckles collection" occasionally :p
It really is a pity, though, what they've done to the Sonic series...

That would be Home Pong, if I recall correctly. Hearing all these whippersnappers list off games that are from only ten years ago makes me feel really old. My first gaming experiences were with Duck Hunt for the NES, the two games that came with R.O.B. (yeah, he was the shit), and of course Donkey Kong in the arcade. Oh how I miss the arcade *runs off and cries at the memory*

I think my first ever game was something like Noddy on the PC. Up till I was 11 I didn't have a console, so I remember playng a hell lot of games on the computer, most of them shit looking back on it.

I'm currently 21 and still gaming.

My first game experience was when I was around 5. It was on a system called the Cintler (or Sintler, not sure on the spelling.) I don't know where my dad dug it up, but the thing used 8 track tapes or reel tapes as cartridges and took about half an hour to actually load the game. The system consisted of a fairly modern looking keyboard attached to an old school, over sized tape player. The games were decent if at 5 you actually had the patience to wait for the game to load, unfortunately I don't remember the names of any of them. One had you playing as a cop chasing down a criminal on a stretch of highway, you had to disable the guys car in a certain time period.

I guess my first gaming experience that I can clearly remember was playing Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 co-op with my friend on his NES when I was about 7.

The first console/home computer game I played was the Binatone console which had about 4 versions of Pong in about 1976. It had another shooting game on it, but the gun never ever worked.

The first decent video game I played was either the arcade version of Atari's Lunar Lander or Taito's Space Invaders with strips of coloured plastic stuck to the screen to give the impression of coloured graphics. It was about 1979 and I've been playing computer games ever since. My favourites of that era though have to be either Tempest or Battlezone, back then vector graphics were extremely cool.
