For me? The very first game I can actually remember playing is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I first played it when I was like 4-5(I'm 15 now.) And I remember having so much trouble with all the dungeons and having my babysitters help me(my mom use to go out a lot.). I was also scared to death of the re-deads. But I still have lots of fun with it.

After that it was probably Super Mario 64. I personally find that the best Mario game.

The last game I can remember is sonic a dozen years ago or so... sure there were more, but the blue critter's the oldest one that comes to mind.

Some of us have been with games since the beginning, some of us have just began playing, regardless we all started with a certain game.

I'm 15, and have been playing games since I was 4. My first game (I can't remember the title), was a game made in the early 90's. I played it on my dad's old Apple II. It took place in a castle, where you play a character that has to solve a series of questions, to get around the castle. The questions ranged from sports to politics. I was very young, and I barely knew any of the answers, so I just spent my time clicking on random choices (A, B, C, D). Even so, I enjoyed it. If only I could remember the title, I want to start playing again..

Anyway, what was your first game?
lol, i remember that game, it was in the encyclopedia Britannica. Can't remember what it was called.
I'll search it in Google

HOW THE HELL CAN I REMEMBER?! *Sorry for the shouting*, I struggle to remember what I had for Christmas, never mind back when I was about 3 or 4.

I can only think back to when we had the PS1. I don't know if we had anything before that frankly.
I always remembered Crash Bandicoot. It was so fun to play. I think that may have been my first game.

Lol, you and I were born in the same year (Though I'm about 1 and a half months older than you :p) and you have the same birthday as my sister XD.
for truly! 2 people with my birth year? Yay, except I'm older than both of you, June 18
Fuck all y'all. March 21, 1993.
You guys to realise that quite a few members were born in '93, right? Including ol' Stompy here. July, to be somewhat more precise.

As for me, it'd have to be Donkey Kong for the SNES... that was my first console, and I got it in 2000... during the era of the N64, PS1 and Dreamcast (I think). Damn, I miss my SNES.

Mine was definately the original Zelda. I remember being very little (4... maybe 5) and playing Zelda, having no f-ing clue what I was doing. I'll admit, it was a bit hard for my little mind and I am yet to finish it to this day. <_<

I believe my first "game" was a Sesame Street one with Ernie as a magician, with all sorts of math and logic puzzles on it, on a floppy disk where I had to type in a command to run it. Then came a Chip and Dale game (real game) in the same format. After that, we got a computer with a disk drive, which came with Dark Sun and Magic Carpet. Then we got a Genesis, and the Sonic...ing commenced!

My first game was Empire Earth (the original one). I was pretty much addicted for a few months, and then I discovered Amazon.co.uk and all those games..

Wow.

Anyway I borrowed the game off of a friend, and he never actually told me the controls, or anything, so I spent alot of the time doing stuff like never advancing Epoch because I didn't know how, and thinking the AI was cheating (which it was).
