Battletoads. NES.

That game almost broke up a friendship.
See, me and my cuz were f'king gods at that game.
Like... we beat it solo.

Have you ever beat Turbo Tunnel... on co-op?

Ok...

Have you ever made it to Clinger Winger (L11) on co-op?
Then got in a huge almost-to-blows fight because player two f'king blew it?
F'king sucked... like just couldn't get it?

...

Then you find out like 15 years later that that level was bugged in co-op and player 2's control didn't work right, so he really meant it when he said the damn wheeliebike wasn't making turns?

Yeah...
That game is freaking evil....EVIL!
And yes you are a god if you can beat that game...I only did it with cheats and save states...and THAT was hard!

I can't really remember my fist game rage...a NES game probably...but I was more patient back then...
wait........SUPER MONKEYBALL (1 or 2), that story mode ARGGG!!

That. Those little "Na na na-na na!" blue guys drove me absolutely insane. At times I would put the controller down, take a deep breath, scream into my pillow, then keep trying. Every time I'd try to cut them off they'd switch it up!

Also, Crash Bandicoot Warped. The fight with N. Gin took me forever. I almost cried I was so mad. I remember those days well.

Edit'd for grammatical errors

I'm not entirely sure, but the "shooting dark ones coming from the ocean with the cannon"-part of Jak 3 was fuckin' frustrating when I was a young boy. Also, the fact that those games had you redo an entire mission if you died.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth 2, Rise of the Witch King.

"Quickly, find the Palantir pieces before the Men of Arnor do!"
Okay, I'll just get these 3 pieces, and now Arnor have the other three.
Build up army, CHAAAAARGE!

What the hell, that fortress is impenetrable!

And now the fucking men of Arnor are using their unlimited knights on my base, and I can't defend it!

*rage quit*

I Wanna Be The Guy

It took my frustration virginity......by force. It was all rather tragic and I prefer not to talk about it.

SSX. Elysium alps. Dear god I raged when playing on that level.

Funny thing was: Back then, I used to play with my mother, and we both raged equally when playing that level. It was a 7 minute long level (Which is SSX is really long), so we would rage like hell if it didn't go well for us.

I don't know because I rage at every game I play at least once. I'm especially looking at you, Neverwinter Nights.

Goddamn fucking Spyro. I got every single last piece of treasure in that except one held by a particularly stubborn thief. The bastard. That was the first and last time I ever went for 100% completion in a game.

Also, Syphon Filter's second level, which was basically a maze, in an underground subway tunnel, with walls made from burning train cars. In a game where going anywhere near a fire killed you instantly, or rather after giving you a second or two to realise your painful mistake and be powerless to undo it.

Super Mario 64 was my 'first'. Mostly because the N64 was my first gaming console.

I believe it was one of those 'slide-down-a-mile-of-ramps' levels or something. I got really annoyed by the way Mario slides.

The Lion King game on the Sega. But I was really young at the time. The first one that frustrated me to the point of screaming when I was older? Psychonauts. I never DID finish the final boss on that.

In all honesty I have never raged completely at a video game before; if I ever did begin to rage I would just put down the controller, try again later, and beat the living shit out of it.

I have lost my 'Immensely Annoyed Virginity' on many occasions though.

I believe it was the first game I ever played.

Sonic the Hedgehog '91.

I still despise the water levels. 'shivers'

Abadox. Hands down the most annoying game I've ever played. It was a side-scroller for NES where you're in the body of this alien or some shit. Anyway, the levels had different paths you could take and you constantly moved forward, but some of the paths were dead ends. So yeah, you'd have to pretty much memorize the levels (or draw them like my brother and I did) to get through them. It was just painfully annoying. I don't think it was hard, really...just one of those old school designs that wasn't very forgiving. I think it even had infinite continues.

After that it was probably Street Fighter 2 for SNES. My brother was so fucking good at that game and he'd always beat me (I'm 8 years younger than him, to be fair). I raged a lot over that.
