I'd go with a game like civilisation. Its all personal taste, I mean I spent ages playing original doom and that didn't even have an online option.

X games can be good for long play, mostly because they are so slow paced :p

Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood.

More Brotherhood, but still, there are alot of missions to complete afterwards.

I guess it would be most sandbox games: spider-man 2, prototype, gta series, red dead redemption etc

This is all a matter of opinion. For me it's LoZ: OoT. I can replay that game over and over and over again and never grow tired of it.

I've logged hundreds of hours playing Mount and Blade, always trying different things and challenging myself to succeed in different ways, not to mention all the custom modules that introduce entirely new rules and settings to the game.

I don't think the OP is asking about # of hours spent, but how many times you play the game.

So .. err .. tetris?

Actually, I'm going to go with Chrono Trigger.

Hmm.. Replay as in re-playing the single player or whatever... I couldn't pick out of Ratchet: Gladiator and Magicka.
As far as just playing the fuck out of a game goes, the Mount & Blade series. Especially with mods.

inFamous is pretty good for that- I found myself enjoying every minute of my various replays, and I never even had a "Bad Cole" run (Though I have started them before. I always feel bad when whatsername chastises me in the beginning, and then I restart)

Can't speak for inFamous 2, but it would have to try pretty hard to make a body fulla' lightning anything but barrels of fun.

I agree with above poster!

Demon's Souls in my books I suppose. I currently have three max stat wanderers and working on a knight. :)

When I was young, I probobly replayed Pokemon Silver fifty times. I can't think of a recent example, but Dragon Age: Origons comes kind of close (played it through three times).
