Nope, you wouldn't. A rapier isn't a very good weapon if your opponent is wearing anything tougher than denim. Movies like Robin Hood and Pirates of the Caribbean are hilariously inaccurate: rapiers aren't weapons made for dueling. You don't chop with a gladius, you thrust and stab with a gladius, never swipe. With short blades you stab, long blades you can do both (generally) although longer blades are slower.punkrocker27 said:Noctaman, this may just be the best topic ever.
