I'll edit this post later with a picture of me in my shirt covered in badges depicting really obscure Doctor Who in-jokes.

Wore said badges to a nightclub on Friday night.

Aw yeah, everyone was jealous of my bling.
Funny :) On a related note, I do a lot of home based and home visit computer repair on the side in addition to my "real" job and among my cleaning and repair tools, I carry my trusty Sonic Screwdriver UV pen. While discussing the possibilities of being able to fix their computer, I sometimes get it out and tell my clients that I'll try everything there is to get the job done, even if it takes using my Sonic Screwdriver. Also sometimes when explaining to a client that I'll need to replace a broken part, I'll zap it with the Sonic Screwdriver and say something like "Well, even the Sonic Screwdriver couldn't fix it, so it'll definately need replaced".

Being as I live in the US an a lot of people still haven't seen Doctor Who despite it's being broadcast on Sci Fi Channel now, I sometimes have to explain what a Sonic Screwdriver is. Which leads to a discussion about the Doctor and the show. It can be a very nice ice breaker or conversation piece. Pretty geeky of me, but hey, it works.

They are usually pretty impressed by the invisible ink trick that it does too.

talk about how good i am with computers in front of hot girls
I tried that, they were never impressed by a level 60 nightelf.
I don't think playing an MMORPG qualifies as "being good with computers." There's kind of a big difference between grinding for hours everyday and being able to troubleshoot computer hardware. One's a WoW player, another is a computer technician.
With my computer it is a skill to get WoW to work the dam thing keeps crashing.

I have a green t-shirt that says 'Green Linen T-Shirt. Chest. Cloth. Armour 3. Requires Level 5' and 'World of Warcraft' discreetly printed on the back.

I love the reactions I get when I wear it. I teach at a high school and kids love seeing teachers reveal their gaming interests. I swear half of my grade 7 class play WoW... which is scary.

Becoming obsessed with that thread about whether 0.9=1 and trying to argue with everyone. And buying a lot of books concerning new physics, especially on the second law of thermodynamics, just out of sheer interest. Oh, and winning a chess award after a month of competing, ending with a 5 hour game.

I played a game of magic the gathering.

In public.
I see people doing that evey so often but what I don't get is why they all seem to play while sitting on the floor of a marketplace?

I've done too much geeky things to pick a top one
but one of my big moments was fighting throughout a school with big foam swords

that being said I am the only real geek/hacker in the area
