I know this forum is usually all happy and joyful, but I just have to bring this story to everyone's attention.

I will not quote it here, please just read this.

What has Humanity come to?

I'm not going to bother reading all of that.

Give me a brief overview.
Lets just say: There is unstable living conditons.. and then there is that house. Roaches, Feces, EVERYWHERE. Roaches in the Freezer for god sake.

Wow, that killed my night right there.

Even if it "ends" with a somewhat happy ending.

This is just terrifying... There are people in starving miserable third world countries who are able to give children basic nurturing and affection...
The real creepy part is this will probably be a movie in the 2-7 years...

Jesus Christ. That's...
Hows about we lock the mother in the house and let her marinate in her own filth and forget about her?

Makes you realize just how inhuman some people can be. The mother's a proven idiot, an IQ of 77 is pathetic, well below average, how she managed to keep her daughter through 3 visits from social workers is beyond me.

LONG-ASS ARTICLE.

That's pretty bad. As for the mother, it just might be best if they don't let her see Dani. I don't really want to read about this again. I'd prefer that this story slip into the back of my mind and never come out again. I don't want to think about it.

..I'm not really afraid to say that I started to weep in the middle of that.
Me neither, and I don't even have feelings. God, who doesn't take time to at least talk to infants?

Alot of stories like this come up if you study Psychology, all disturbing but the more it happens the more it just becomes another statistic... If it was the only case of its kind it would be beyond belief but alas it isnt, which really sucks.

Well she got lucky it had a semi-happy ending hopefully the kid can get a little better, she's at least on the track to taking care of herself.
