Okay, that's just fucked up. And extremely horrible. Although the question is, she's 16 now. Why didn't they report this earlier? You know... when she's 8 years old, or when she's 10?

I think I remember reading something about this a few years ago. I seem to remember the doctors saying she wouldn't live for much longer. I guess they were wrong. It'd be crazy if she had a normal human life expectancy.

THEN AGAIN. You die of old age due to a natural life cycle, with cell decay etc, I assume. If she's not actually progressing through that cycle, will it kill her? It's not like a dwarf who ages while certain aspects of development stay static, she just doesn't age.

If anything it has to be a mix of hormones not doing their jobs. It also has to do with how the cells age and die, if they do. are they in slow motion? an infants growth rate is ridclous anyway, so why isnt hers? maybe she has normal adult growth rate and never got a chance at that boost during toddler years. If you've noticed or not, most mentially handicap people seem to look a lot younger than those who have normal functions. Not really sure why that is.
