So I read the recent story about Nintendo's stock price shooting up, and I felt like gloating. Mind you, it's not considered polite to gloat, and gloaters often piss off everyone else. So I came up with the idea of making a thread entirely for gloating. Here, you can be smug about any triumph you want, no matter how insignificant. Where should we start?

I beat a Grand Master Ranked player in Tekken Revolution despite only playing for 2 hours and only having 6 ranked matched under my belt yeah im awesome.

Ok the guy was useless a complete button masher like myself only I know how to mash buttons better it seems as I racked up quite a win streak for not having a clue 8 in a row I think yay me!! lets go Asuka we can be King of the Scrubs or Queen ...whatever.

Anybody got anything less significant? I thought not.

Also mini rant wtf is with the unlock for Eliza Haruda? seriously man hows someone with a life and no luck supposed to unlock that crap in any timely manner? ok mini rant over.

I've purchased about 150 PC games in 2 years from online sources such as Steam and www.humblebundle.com and I've likely spent far less than $1,000 doing it. $500 a year for my main hobby aint bad. You can't buy gas for your hog for that in a bike riding season.

I got the Platinum Trophy in Battlefield 4 for the PS4, and I'm only 39 ranks away from cap. Hurray for not having a life!

Unless you have a personal investment in Nintendo stock, why do you feel the need to gloat?

OT: I don't really have anything to gloat about. I got a couple of decent times on Forza 5, that felt pretty good I guess.

Why would you feel like gloating about a company you have no affiliation with?

Anyway, I got nothing game related to gloat about.

I got the Interplay Fallout titles for free off of GoG shortly before Bethesda had them removed from the catalog. Now I just have to put aside some time to actually play them...

Also, some premature gloating: I'm thinking of getting a Sega Dreamcast soon, and the price for a decent used one appears to be only $30 to $50 right now. Score!

I'm going to gloat about how I'm the first person to drop the Blackadder reference.

We're up to our ears in gloaters here. "Can I come in for a gloat?" they shout and we shout back "Oh you heartless gloaters!".

Yay!

Not game related, but I can light a strike-anywhere match at 10 meters with a slingshot.

Game related: I've beaten Halo: Combat Evolved more than 50 times on legendary.

One assumes that it would be because their predictions were correct when many around them said otherwise. Shit knows I gloat like mad when I'm right and everyone else turns out to be wrong. Which is almost all the time so I'm something of an insufferable prick.

I always thought their stock would've been higher than Sony's at this point so I would consider myself shocked that they weren't already, granted that doesn't compel me to buy a Wii-U, moreso than it does for me to invest in their stocks... and then sell when inFamous Second Son comes out, Hoo!

Urrm, I got a Vita and a PS4 for christmas. Don't really think that impress people moreso to rub it in the faces of people who's families don't love them... wow that got dark. I'm morbidly obese with a long family history of heart problems, there.

Then why are you here? This thread is for people to bask in their own self-satisfaction without fear of criticism from the harsh world outside. You are disturbing our utopia. Out, sir!

If you wanted to say anything and not get an answer out of it (positive or negative) then just go to a mirror and say it there.

OT: I guess I like my Steam library collection of games even though I havent played half of them. Still, it has some cool gems that I do like to play now and a lot of them came in packs/bundles so there is that.

I also nearly got 100% completion in both Timesplitters 2 and 3, not exactly 100% but close enough

I have thoughtlessly dispatched over 300,000 zombies in Dead Rising 3. And I will thoughtlessly dispatch even more!

I think I'm going to write a screenplay called GLOAT OF THE DEAD.

Pretty much the same. I've gotten around 120 Steam games in the past year(however roughly half of them are in my "Shit games"-folder). Can't imagine having spent more than £150 on them. A few were sales, which cost more, but a vast majority were cheap bundles.

My feelings are a bit conflicted though. Spend the four years before my PC switch buying lots of PS3 games. Got a bit over 100 games for it, but the total cost is waaaay higher. So while I'm happy, and I guess gloatful, about finding these bundles I also feel even more awful that I spent so many years buying expensive games(got a 360 the year before my PS3 and had tons of games for it as well). Many of which I've gotten on Steam now as well.
The bundles have been extremely poor lately though. Hoping it picks up again soon.

Another gloatful thing would be that I plan to report a school I went to for the past three days(signed out today). It was unstructured as fuck with extremely incompetent staff. My teacher spend a good two hours telling us about the importance of reporting to higher authorities when something wasn't right, so I plan to do just that. We'll see how much he likes it then. >:D

I was playing Mortal Kombat 9, and decided to join a King of the Hill match. I wasn't sure how I was going to fare, as I had lost previous matches before I joined. It was my turn to fight the King, and then this happened.

You better believe I was proud of myself.

So, that must mean you have shares invested in Nintendo, correct?

Afterall, only a shareholder would be gloating over something like this. I can't see why anyone else would gloat.

The PC that I built for myself 2 and a half years ago is still going to have better graphics than your PS or XBone is able to push out 8 years from now. It also has a library of games bigger than every console you own combined.

Last night I got 76 points in one life as a spy in TF2 against equally skilled oponents. I didn't just roll into a Valve server and dominate. I rolled into an organized lobby and dominated.

I leveled a monk from level 1-90 in 16 hours play time in WoW this week as well. And since I've run a weekly flex raid on my main for the last several months I will likely get away with bringing her into it to get carried through for gear.
