I think Batman is best as a serious character. Therefore, I'm not a fan of the older, goofy Batman. I also hate Robin with a passion.

So anything that has a serious Batman and no Robin, I like. The Dark Knight, Arkham Asylum, etc.

Arkham Asylum is how I officially recognize the entire Batman universe now. The way that every character was portrayed in that game is the best it has ever been.

Also, Mark Hamill's Joker > Heath Ledger's Joker.
Thank you. Mark Hamill gets my vote as best Joker ever.

I've always preerred tha animated series version of Batman. That's how I saw him growing up, and any other version of the Caped Crusader just doesn't quite cut it.

Glad people dig the Arkham Asylum Batman, as it is the closest to the original comic book character.

I just hope they don't have Robin in the sequel, and if they do I hope the story is 'A Death in the Family', the most dark, upsetting Batman story ever written:

Joker brutally beats Robin half to death with a crowbar, then kills him with a bomb... Batman is so pissed off he punches Superman... awesome

I'm going out on a limb with a saw in everybody's hands but I like the Bale Batman. It's an artsy version. BUT the original comicbook version wins all day.

I prefer the non existent brand. I dont like batman as a character in a movie, game, comic or anything else. Hes annoying and bland. He might have started the badass, meanie, but others perfected it.

Adam west Batman... What?
DANCE B-MAN DANCE!!!

Anyway, for me it's pretty much a tie between the 90's cartoon adaptation and the Arkham Asylum one. They're both exactly what I imagined what the Batman universe would be.

I enjoyed Christian Bale's Batman, as well as the new films, but overall I prefer the Batman of the Animated Series, as well as the Animated Series overall.

Arkham Asylum. I like to be able to understand my Batmans. As I'm quite young compared to some, I haven't seen much of the cartoon, or any comics, so I can't compare.
But AA Batman was awesome.

Arkham Asylum was a great marriage between the comic and the animated series.

That's one of the most awesome sentences ever. I myself prefer the gritty comic/graphic novel Batman.

Arkham Asylum. The Scarecrow bits in particular gave him some really good definition.

Although...
