The time has come, at last. One man, long awaited, has finally had the audacity, the daring, the sheer genius needed to begin a task possibly greater than any other in the whole of history: Revolution

Lord Shannow, famous for finding the way to split the walls of reality and journey between the worlds, has attracted a great deal of attention, but not all of it approving, and not all of it impressed. The Authority Himself decided that Shannow could no longer be allowed to flout His Laws, ans sent a force of angles to persuade Shannow of the wisdom of His decree, by force, if necessary.

What happened next secured Shannow's place in history forever. The angles never returned,and furthermore, Shannow was not cowed into surrender or hiding. Instead, he did the exact opposite, and declared war on the Authority.

Even now, Lord Shannow has gone to a bleak, empty world, and there is gathering his forces for the greatest war of all time. His mission, he claims, is nothing more than to overthrow the Authority, and to turn the kingdom of heaven into the truly free Republic of Heaven. Both sides draw support from countless worlds, and the multiverse looks on with bated breath

Players will make up their own culture or own race, and are allowed to, even expected to, be as creative as possible with all details. (Note: angels are allowed on both sides, as a force of angles, defeated in a previous rebellion, have joined Shannow's cause)

Name: Talonisk

Physical Description: Large, muscled and reptilian the Talonisk are not one to be crossed. They stand at about 7'3 and weigh 240 pounds of scaled flesh. Their scales are very durable and appear to be resistant to most forms of weaponry and they can change color whenever needed. Their mouths are home to rows of razor sharp teeth which are made of the same material as the scales, which means they can basically rip apart metal with their fangs. Their eyes are inverted and vary in color depending on their mood, often meaning that they will be red the majority of the time due to their ferocious personalities.

Style of Technology: Their technology is surprisingly advanced, it is similar to that of steampunk. They use large bulky weaponry powered by pistons and clockwork mechanisms. They in fact will still use melee weapons more frequently, however their large power rifles are still the most popular. Their cities are small and often underground, the generated smoke from their factories has to affects on those inside, either death or enhancement. The most common effect being death.

Attributes/Notable qualities: Their strenght comes at a price, the majority of their species is often killed by the smog in the caves. Those who survive gain unimaginable strength and agility, some can release the smoke from their bodies in either the smoke or a highly acidic liquid which they will vomit onto an opponent that can burn the flesh from bone.

Fighting style: They despise magic in every sense of the term, they refuse to touch magical weaponry or use the arcane arts in combat. The common Talonisk berserk will utilize their strenght and durability to charge onto the battlefield, soak up the damage and rip the opponent limb from limb. Needless to say they are better at berserking then planning out their attacks, which doesn't really matter seeing as they can withstand .50 cal rounds to the face without flinching.

Name: Grexec Wrawl

Age: 55, a quarter of the Talonisk life span.

Rank/Title/Occupation: Hunter - The highest rank available to a Talonisk warrior, always sent on solo operations.

Appearance: Grexec is the normal height for a Talnoisk, all though he is slightly more muscular. His scales change color at will, just like all other Talonisks. However he has a birth defect which causes his eyes always to be blue, allowing him to appear to be calm when in fact he could be trying to restrain himself from biting someones head off. Like other Talonisks he wears only a tunic, seeing that his scales protect more then any armor ever could.

Weapons: Two bulky revolving pistols [http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs48/f/2009/204/4/1/Steampunk_Revolver_by_Airesyll.jpg] that chamber 15mm rounds, the rounds are explosive and filled with a volatile acid found in the stomach of a Talonisk. He also owns two poorly constructed battle axes [http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/6/5152/28550.jpg] made of a blast forged steel capable of chopping a tank in half.
Fighting Style: The typical method of charging in and murdering the opponent as brutally as possible.

Their skin color varies from a light green to a dark blue. Their faces are very basic, with nasal slits as opposed to noses. Their mouths house a single row of varied teeth, due to their omnivorous nature. They have no hair, but instead have rows of nerves that run from the forehead to the base of the spine. Their bodies are not suited for tasks that require much physical strength.
Style of Technology: They are very advanced technologically, with more of a cyberpunk bent than that of their rival Talonisk. Cybernetic enhancements are very common among the Grell, usually in the form of microchips used for tracking, or muscular enhancements to improve strength or dexterity. Their weaponry is comparable to those used by human in the present. Their cities are large metropolises, towering into the sky with skyscrapers usually nowhere below the 10 story range. Due to their aforementioned lack of physical strength, the Grell utilize a fully robotic workforce. Somehow, they have not run into any robot revolts, although anything is possible.
Attributes/Notable qualities: The Grell typically favor diplomacy and negotiation over warfare, and free-thinking and open-mindedness is generally smiled upon in theory. However, in practice they can fall into cycles of seemingly endless debate and bickering due to many contrasting ideas.
Fighting style: Due to their lack of physical strength, the Grell favor ranged combat. However, many Grell carry ceremonial daggers with them. Magic is generally frowned upon, with many of the Grell seeing it as useless in such a technologically advanced society. Grell warfare techniques utilize guerrilla warfare tactics with hit-and-run raids a very common strategy.

Age: 80 (about middle aged for the Grell)
Rank/Title/Occupation: Operative (spec ops., works in pairs[small]foreshadowing![/small].)
Appearance: On the tall side for a Grell, about 6' 2". He is just as skinny as most of them, at about 127 lbs. His skin is dark green, with areas of lighter green around his face and hands. He wears advanced body armor, which has basic cloaking abilities and good protection.
Weapons: Toulu uses a silenced combat shotgun that fires acidic rounds, along with a silenced pistol that can fire rounds laced with radiation. He also carries a ceremonial dagger for melee purposes.
Fighting Style: Toulu mainly uses his ranged weaponry, and only uses his dagger or hand-to-hand in case of emergency. His melee combat relies more on agility and dexterity in order to evade enemy attacks and counter them, as apposed to brute force.

Other Allegiances: None (Severed all allegiances when he joined Shannow's rebellion)

In his lineage was kings, queens, rulers, prime ministers, and other assorted politicians. He decided to forgo any kind of political career in favor of a military one. He joined the Military out of school, and rose quickly through the ranks, although he expects this to be more a part of his families influence more than anything. He became an Operative, a shadow agent who worked behind the scenes in order to keep peace. When Shannow's rebellion was instigated, the Grells sided with the Authority, who Toulu was sick of. Toulu responded by going AWOL, and joined the rebellion.

Bio: Grexec was born and raised by the Talonisk warchief, which instilled a great sense of military pride into Grexec. He spent the majority of his life training to be a Hunter, he eventually became a Hunter when he reached 51 years of age. Like most Talonisk's he exhibited a hate for the authorities, so he and the those under his command sided with Lord Shannow.

I will have to do that later today, for I am going to play tennis in about six minutes.

Speaking of which, I prefer that no one else wants to play as a Talonisk. Mainly do to the reason that their only like one thousand left and only fifty are warriors, that and I want to see some damn creative thinking around these parts.

Name: Xe'nall (plural Xe'nallae)

Physical appearance: The Xe'nall are mid-sized creatures, insectoid in appearance and virtually genderless, having only half a chromosome difference between male and female. They have between two and eight eyes, sideways jaws, and antennae on their forheads. They typically have two legs, but four arms that can act independently. Depending on their age, they have either a shiny blue exoskeleton (young), an orange one (30-40 yrs.), a matte green one (middle aged) or a dull asphault one (old). They also have no brain, per se, but a system of nervous membranses that run throught their body, allowing them to store additional intelligence. However, there is a disease that is quite prominent in them: membrane inflammation. The nervous membranes can easily be infected if the exoskelton is broken. They typically live between one to one and a half centuries.

Style of Technology: The Xe'nall are fairly advanced creatures, using magiscience (you guessed it, a combintaion of magic and science) to their advantage. They have managed to fit these two attributes into perfect harmony, creating things from Directed-energy weapons [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed_Energy_Weapons] to hulking mechsuits powered by mana.

Notable Qualities: The Xe'nall have a rudementary hypnotism device, used by way of pheremones. These pheremones are very effective on more weak-minded beings, but against an intelligent foe they are more easily overcome.

Fighting style: Xe'nallae typically use the aforementioned direct-energy weapons to cut down their foes. They also dabble in blades and the occaisional magic spell, but mainly for healing capabilities. They also use armored infantry wearing mechsuits armed with miniguns and rockets, a terrifying yet awe-inspiring sight on the battlefield.

Name: Narth Gyovandu

Age: 37 (34 in human years)

Rank: Shanath (Xe'nall equivalent of a Leiutenant)

Appearance: Narth has five eyes and has a deep orange exoskeleton with a green speckling. He stands at about 5'11". He also has a scar across his lower left arm, obtained by a 50 caliber bullet slicing past it and nearly cutting it open. This also gave him a brief spell of membrane inflammation, which left him with a slight speech impediment (he has a hissing lisp, i.e. his s's sound almost like a snake's hiss).

Weaponry: Narth carries two Directed-energy submachine guns that fire red bursts of energy in his upper set of arms, and retractable wristblades on the lower pair. He also knows a few healing spells, and one that causes an eletric shock to the target.

Fighting style: Narth typically uses an acrobatic style of fighting, utilizing his agility to his advantage. His favorite technique is flipping over his enemy's head to disorient them, then stabbing both wristblades into the creature's head, then using the body as a shield before throwing it at the next scumbag he sees. His comrades have dubbed this "The Whiplash" after how fast he can execute the movement.

Alliance: Lord Shannow

Backstory: Narth Gyovandu was born into a large family on the Xe'nall homeworld of Laolith. He was always an athletic youngling who excelled at track-and-field events and Trenackh, a type of wrestling. Wh One day, when he was about 20, the planet was visited by Lord Shannow. Narth was captivated by this man's ability to travel through space. When he heard about the revolution, he joined Shannow's army and quickly rose through the rank, eventually becoming a Shanath. He was also one of the first to test the Directed-energy weaponry, getting his claws on a pair of energy SMG's before anyone else.

I should point out at this point that there's a sort of weapons circle, that goes modern>physical>spiritual>magical>modern

Eg A ghost, not having real flesh, cannot stand up to a man in hand to hand combat, but being a thing of the spirit, is perfectly suited to playing havoc amongst magic users. Magic users are able to tear into mechanical and projectile weapons. Bullets and robots beat fleshy bodies, and the circle continues.

Across the circle, ie ghosts vs robots, are roughly balanced, and it will come down to circumstance and skillrather than weapon type
