Well, maybe. I never got the chance to ask if werewolves had that immortality thing going on, but we'll see.

Greetings all. I've recently been cleared by Ascendant to carry on with my RPing abilities. I look forward to creating as much chaos, and/or stopping chaos, as possible. So without further ado, here's Mr Sinclair.

Alexander Sinclair's history before January 20, 2000 is unknown. He was originally recovered by then Guardian Richard Howards in a raid against a Necromancer Sect operating within the UK. It was discovered in the Cult's files that Sinclair was recovered somewhere in the vicinity of Germany and brought to the UK as part of a unknown Rising Ritual. It was eventually decided by the officers on site to drop Sinclair into a Guardian-operated Orphanage and, should magical or otherwise noteworthy qualities emerge, to possibly be inducted into the Guardians as an Initiate.

From January 23, 2000 to October 7, 2010, the Guardians would watch over the subject and record the following characteristics. Pessimistic attitude to humans in general, correctly guessing their worst attributes and vices and being disgusted over them. Cold and Calculating, able to estimate whether or not a course of action would be sufficient to execute a desired goal. Operates under the assumption that unless individuals are of worth to him, that they are expendable in the course of his goal execution. Does not believe in the supernatural. Few friends, but those who are his friends he defends or, whenever appropriate, avenges to an overwhelmingly ruthless degree. No faith in Humanity. Believes in the Ideals of Order, Power Accumulation and Triumph of Society over the Individual. Overall goal while operating within the orphanage is the enforcement of Order, suppressing malcontents through any means necessary while assisting those he deems as worthwhile.

Discovery of Subject's Natural Magic on October 8, 2010. Upon encountering 3 malcontents extorting money from a young girl, the Subject attempted to stop the extortion by utilizing a heavy wooden plank from a loose floorboard to hit the back of the head of one of the assailants, resulting in long term partial paralysis of the left arm and immediate unconsciousness. He then proceeded to fight the other two, maintaining an acceptable combat performance by breaking the other assailant's arm and jaw. The final assailant managed to defeat Sinclair, but in a fit of panic, managed to utilize his Magic to stop his assault. Sinclair quickly took advantage of the situation and, after mentally commanding him to stay still, grabbed the same wooden plank and caved the assailant's skull in. Guardian Operatives quickly entered the scene and secured the premises.

Upon explaining the circumstances of the world to him, as well as supernatural beings and magic in general, it is observed that Sinclair entered into an apoplectic fit, though remarkably controlled. Operative Howards approached Sinclair and explained the circumstances of his own near-death at the hands of Necromancers and the Guardians' subsequent recovery of him. Subject is observed to go quiet and, upon Howards' offer for him to join the Guardians, the subject accepted.

Initiate Alexander Sinclair is subsequently trained with standard procedures, but is eventually considered inefficient. The Initiate shows no ability or leaning in any other form of magic beyond Imperiomancy, of which he is remarkably skilled. At the same time, despite showing above average skill in hand to hand combat with human and superhuman opponents, Sinclair shows a leaning for, and exceptional ability, in firearms training, specifically long range termination. Training is eventually handled to Operative Howards for small arms and long range termination, and Master Erlandur in Imperiomancy. At the same time, he learns to augment his weaponry using runes, typically as a method to increase success ratings against supernatural opponents.

Alexander Sinclair completes initiate training in July 7, 2015 when he plays an impressive role on a raid upon an Argus Vampire coven. He utilizes his weapon, a Parker Hale sniper rifle augmented with magical aura seeking bullets, in tandem with his Imperiomancy, affecting the minds of his opponents to give him a more effective shot. Additionally, he rubs concentrated amounts of salt and garlic onto his bullets, increasing their effectiveness against the vampires. During the operation, he successfully carries out his role to disable the several high ranking members of the Coven while eliminating anyone else that came into his sights. The official report states him terminating a total of 35 beings (7 vampires and 28 thralls) while successfully wounding 3 high ranking members by destroying their knees and wing membranes. Afterwards, Sinclair is promoted to the rank of Apprentice under the newly promoted Master Howards.

It is at this point that Howards is instructed to go after a Thaumaturgist Sect that has spread it's hold over the UK. The Operation proceeds for over 13 months, ruthlessly eliminating section after section of the Sect. It is observed that Sinclair, while having no real sympathies for the Sect, is interested in the potential power the Thaumaturgists possess. Psychological reports on him, beyond the standard mind warp all Imperiomancers have, show no significant personality change. A belief in Order over the Individual is consistently shown when he sacrifices whatever civilian casualties are necessary to eliminate the Sect. Personal power is also shown upon his rage and impatience when Master Erlandur would halt his studies, and he would subsequently steal a significant portion of advanced Imperiomancy techniques in turn, which would only be discovered after his betrayal.

On August 7, 2016, Master Howards and Apprentice Sinclair would execute the last remainders of the Thaumaturgist Sect in the UK. However, instead of capturing the last two members of the Sect, a Guild Mage of fairly high clout and the Master of the UK Sect, Sinclair would instead tear information from both of their minds and promptly execute them once finished. Upon Howards' confusion, Sinclair would then execute Howards' by firing his MP5 into Howards' upper body, killing him instantly. Sinclair would then disappear from the Guardians' radar, taking with him Howards' gear as he does so.

Informants within the Stewards would report sighting Sinclair in Germany three years later, fighting a Daggerspell Sect and assisting the Thaumaturgists. For the next six years, there would be numerous sightings of Sinclair as an important member of the Thaumaturgy, being now known as the Black Nail and having increased his power with Thaumaturgy. His Hell Magic is commonly seen in two forms, augmenting his sniper skills to enact terrible damage, either on an anti-person or anti-material ranking, or in close to mid combat as augmenting his Imperiomancy and small arms skill, throwing Hellfire or other Damned spells with noticeable skill while affecting the minds of his opponents and utilizing his weaponry.

Sinclair is currently wanted by Daggerspell Clan, the Necromantic Order, the Illrian Knighthood and the Guardians of London. He, beyond being a member of the Thaumaturgy, is also known to have unknown contacts within the Order of the Black Rose and the Order of the Red Star, both Orders having hired Sinclair to execute those of interest to either Orders, though both have yet to hire him to eliminate members of the other. The Gray Knights have a constant kill order on Sinclair but are instructed not to seek him out. The Dreamers have had contact with him but are currently neutral on whether he is an asset or an enemy. The Elders of Zion has not had any reported contact with Sinclair as well. The Order of Avalon has neither confirmed nor denied relations with Sinclair, and there is a possibility that members of the Order were the ones that shipped him out of the UK. The Ordus Sanctorum may have attempted to recruit Sinclair, though they may have been rebuffed, and now also have a kill but do not pursue order on Sinclair as well.

As of December 17, 2024, Alexander Sinclair is currently off the map, and has not made any moves that we are aware of.

(Since these are all real world weapons, imagine them to either be the steam punk equivalent or to already be the real world variant. Whichever works really.)

You should probably do a little update just to balance things out, me looking at his is making me rethink some things on mine...

I could always use countermeasures for AP rounds,

Added a few things, and fixed up some mistakes.

Magic: Sanguinmancy. Skilled in it's use, but rarely uses it during combat. Prefers to use it for interrogations, or when the situation calls for it.

Weapons: Pair of katara, affectionately named Body and Soul, both are made from steel. He recieved these two weapons during his time as a mercenary.
-Body is the more heavier of the two, used for strong blows and breaking an opponents guard, wielded in his right hand. The blade is larger than a standard blade, double-edged, straight, and has a dark hue. The word, "Body" is inscribed on the arm guard in Silirian.
-Soul is the lighter of the two, used for rapid slashes and stabs, wielded in his left. The blade is slightly smaller than Body, double-edged, curved on both sides, and has a bright hue. The word "Soul" is inscribed on the arm guard in Fey.
-[Post-Dark-Skull] After his encounter with the Dark Skull, he decided to get his weapons enchanted. Body now carries a flame enchantment, which would activate through the use of the word, "ignis", and Soul, now carrying an ice enchantment, would activate through the use of the word, "frigus".
His side-arms consist of star metal throwing knives and poisonous gas bombs, though he rarely ever uses them, preferring to get up close and personal, but when he must, he uses them with deadly efficiency.

Bio: Hadrian was a former human mercenary living in a small town in England. He was well-known for his heavy reliance in melee weapons and unarmed combat, as well as his sadistic streak. After an encounter with a Loup-Garou, which left him a werewolf, and his attacker dead, Hadrian abandoned his home, living as a hermit for several years. During this time, he started to learn to control his transformations, while completely avoiding towns and settlements, sticking mainly to the forests. After those years of hermitage, he recruited himself into the Guardians, intending to put his powers to good use.

After his encounter with the Dark Skull, he returned to London, while keeping in contact with Breaker, one of the many Guardians that he worked beside during the Dark Skull mission, as friends, and Rena, the little Fae girl that greeted them upon arriving in her homeland. During his time in London, he took part in local missions for years. Eventually, he was selected to undergo several trials. He completed each of them, the Masters approving of his skill, and taking on the rank of Master. Much to his displeasure, he was unable to partake in the various odd jobs they had to offer upon achieving this rank, and was stuck, most of the time training a new Apprentice. He was able to head out and lead missions, but to him, those were too few, and far in between. As of late, he has been training a Ryan Blackbriar. They never cease get on each others nerves, with Ryan having what Hadrian believed to be delusions of an apocalypse, and Hadrian's short temper.

Description: Standing tall, at 7' 4", with a messy mop of curly black hair on his head and grey eyes. He maintains a somewhat youthful appearance, but his face looks more gaunt and his hair showing patches of grey.
His clothes consist of a shabby-looking grey, two-piece suit, which looks like it's been through a lot of wear-and-tear, with visible patches and stitch-work on various parts of the suit. Beneath his suit, he wears a brigandine cuirass, a pair of steel pauldrons and leather vambraces. He is well-muscled, because of him working to keep his body in top condition, and partially because of his lycanthropy.

Personality: Hadrian, at first acts with a professional demeanor, speaking in a reserved tone and standing like a soldier at attention. But once people get to know him, he reveals his true colors, as a temperamental, yet jovial fellow with a love for fighting.

Skills:
-A master interrogator, capable of extracting information out of all but the strongest-willed individuals
-A master infiltrator, able to sneak into guarded complexes without being seen, and taking out his target(s) with little to no evidence left behind.
-A master in close range combat, having been trained in it's use since he was a small, human child. Doubly so, now because of his augmented strength.
-A master in the use of thrown weapons.
-A skilled Sanguinmancy user, capable of controlling the bodies of most people and the blood inside them, as well as weaponizing the blood itself.
-Extremely agile, able to run and jump much faster and higher than the average person.
-A master survivalist, due to the many years he spent as a hermit

Pinnacle of the Obsidian Flame, 2025

"It's coming..." said the crackling flames to Silas, the solemn simulacrum which spoke for the Flames sat silent, the flames speaking in concert...something that almost never happened. "You've foreseen it...your blind eye has seen the hour of your death." said the flames and Silas knew, touching the scar on his face that glowed a dull red in the dark chamber. It flashed before his eye quickly. A great storm with the features of a humanoid crackling with red lightning and Silas upon a great dragon charging into it headlong into his demise. He gulped air and the vision passed again and the flames said with their crackling concert of voices "I cannot see what pulls upon the Destroy and the Creator but it does not do so for good purpose. You must be cautious, for something is conspiring to bring about the Omens and once it begins there is no stopping it..." here the flames settled and then roared to life again "Something is driving Earth headlong into apocalypse, Silas...it is time to cast aside your doubts and take the power you were given. You may lead the Illrian Knighthood but you are Archon...it is time you acted as one." Here the Voice stood and said "No more can I speak with my own voice. Go, friend, and do whatever it is you can to prepare for what is coming...your faith calls to you for guidance as the hour draws near...whatever has set humanity on this course must be thwarted...but what they unleash is no beast simply tamed."
Silas sighed and nodded "I must lead humanity from the dark into the light, through this end of the Cycle into the beginning of the next...but I feel the pain of this Cycle's closing will be great upon all...not just myself."
"Know that all you have done and all you will do has given humanity the strength and the resolve to live past this pain. The Destroyer may come, but humanity will continue..."
