The haiku thread

I thought it would be
fun to have a haiku thread
so I started one

So here are the rules:
All posts on this thread should be
done in haiku form

Also by the way
I'm new on Escapist boards
please be nice to me

In a good haiku
syllables should be as such:
five, seven, then five

that haiku inspired me
to create this thread

You see I posted
it as my facebook status,
mostly just for fun.

My friend responded
to it in haiku style
which got me thinking...

wouldn't it be fun
to start this haiku thread on
a random forum

so long story short
I decided escapist
would be my best bet
