Are you okay with a Vampire costume?
Ok, I has itDiagonal Horizontality said:Thanks for being honest.Ciarang said:Thanks!
If I am honest I don't really like it
Ah well, if I want to get it done I'll do it myself, could you tell me what software you use for this ?
I use Photoshop Elements 6. It's not the easiest software to use; I have to construct the animation frame by frame and it took me quite a while to learn how to do it slightly well.
Did you want it smaller?Ciarang said:Ok, I has it
I made a .gif but the size limitation is rather annoying =/

Well, I don't think it really matters, some are up already. I think I might put mine up mid October and then leave it up for a few weeks.Nivag said:I already have my halloween avatar preparedDo you know when the theme is gonna be... something? It's a bit early to change now.

well, i have been attempting to do that. but the odd thing is that when i tried to upload my avatar, it didn't animate, and was stuck as a black box with the words the kitty reaper approaches on it.galletea said:While I appreciate that people want the shiny effects and animations, I think it would be really cool if more people made their own avatars for Halloween. Getting other people to do it is a bit like buying an outfit, it's all well and good, but where's the fun in it?
If you haven't got Photoshop, download Gimp and play around with it a little, you have a couple of weeks at least.
But you guys are the only people who are good at it! I tried to make my own and even my colossal pride can't stop me from saying it wasn't half as good as some of the Holiday Council'sgalletea said:While I appreciate that people want the shiny effects and animations, I think it would be really cool if more people made their own avatars for Halloween. I don't think it makes a difference. I haven't gotten to grips with the whole animating lark yet anyway. I do know however, that if you try to upload an animation that is bigger than the 75x75 that the forum uses, the animation won't work, so it might be that.Azraellod said:well, i have been attempting to do that. but the odd thing is that when i tried to upload my avatar, it didn't animate, and was stuck as a black box with the words the kitty reaper approaches on it.
does it make a difference which program i use? i have been using PhotoScape so far.
