That's a goatee. A soul patch is just a small beard on the chin bone only. I believe. That's what I've been calling it and no one has corrected me yet.

EDIT: Wait, no that's not right... I looked up soul patch, and it's not above the chin. It's ON the chin. Hanging down a bit.

Unless your nose is above your eyes. Then I'll laugh. And I mean the bottom of your nose is above, not the top. Though I'm guessing there's a 99.99999999% that you don't have that problem. So you're probably safe.
