Patricka's voice boomed over the crowd as she started gathering all the medical supplies they had on them and keeping it on her person. It wasn't much, but it was enough to clean up and cover any minor wounds they would sustain. And it that didn't do, she carried a bottle of Vodka as a sterelizer and a pain suppressor.
Kitchen sure was handy
She thought to herself as she counted the medical supplies in her head and stopped at the vodka bottle.
"...We haven't had any attacks in well over a week now. Chances are that the beasts have gone and gathered reinforcements, hoping to get us with our guard down... or... they're already here with their reinforcements and are waiting for us to make our move"

Either way, we're sitting ducks here. But sitting ducks have cover...
The mental dilemma was killing her but getting out of here meant getting supplies. Even if some of them wouldn't make it alive. The survival of the fittest is what counts.

As the group continued to talk about their plans, the sun had moved to its highest point in the sky, telling the group that it was midday. They had been discussing their plans for quite some time.

There were so many choices, so many variables to choose from. They could stay and run the risk of hunger.. or go and run the risk of getting surrounded by those things. Choices. That's what survival was all about. Well, that and luck.

"Look, we have to be confident in completing this journey. We're not going to last here much longer. Even Knoxville has been overrun, there should be enough abandoned stores with ammo, and canned food, that we can successfully restock. I say we head North and see what we can get," Emma stated, pointing her gun out the window for emphasis. She didn't know why there was this much debate going on, they had to break now, while the sun was good and high.

"But there is no guarantee that those monsters haven't decided to set up home in some of those stores," Chloe mutters quietly, the group had started to ignore her after the incident at the house, she was slowly becoming totally useless again.

"Or, we can all just go and get eaten, I don't care..." she sighs into her knees, burying her head between her knees.

"Well, we'll have to blast them, won't we, Chloe?" Emma said, trying to set the other girl's mind at ease, but almost sure her tone of voice would make it fail. "We'll have to take our shot, not hesitate to call for help, be careful."

Emma wondered why none of the men seemed willing to take up any kind of leadership role. Her and Pat were figuring out most of the plans, John was the only one who contributed anything. It confirmed in her eyes that women were much superior to them.

"Either way, we should leave now while it's still light." John said. "I don't think the monsters attack as much during the day, and we might be a be to make to cover before nightfall if we leave now. At the very least we will be able to see where we are going and to see the monsters coming." John paused. "We should grab a few supplies and start to get out of here. If we pack light, we should be able to cover more ground an travel at a quicker pace to help avoid attacks."
