Piano: 12-ish years
Percussion/Drums: 4 years
Clarinet: 3 years (no longer learn)
Guitar: 2-ish years, self taught. Skills from that also allow me to play bass.

I've been playing bass for about three years now and trombone for seven I think. I also used to play the piano and I sorta remember some stuff on it, but not a lot.

Guitar - 2 years. Self taught from day one.
Trombone - 7 years. Class taught.
Piano - 3 years. Lesson taught.
Violin - 8 years. Self taught, took some lessons which I hated. I haven't picked it up in a while.

I currently play trombone for my school's Jazz band.

I've played guitar for about two years now and piano for a bit less than a year.

The funny part is that I'm left-handed, but I play right-handed guitar.
Lefty guitar is too awkward to play.
I know many lefties who play the standard guitar. Actually I've only known ONE person who didn't.

I've been playing the Ocarina for nearly a year now, I'm getting one with a much bigger octave range for Christmas. ^_^

This thingie:

I played the Cello for three years and I've started picking it up again, I bought a Harmonica a long time ago and I've finally figured out how to play single notes, I want to learn the Piano but I can't play two melodies at once... I want to play Ukulele. Oh and I want to learn how to drum.

So yeah, a Jack of All Trades but a master of none...

I've played the piano since I was four, although I'm a little rusty , I've played the flute for 10 years.
I also play tenor recorder, sing, and I'm currently collecting guitar-type instruments, although I'm not very good at playing them.

Just piano. Been teaching myself out of a book for a few months now. A few years ago, I took guitar lessons for seven months or so, but the instructor's teaching style didn't really mesh with me. I love teaching myself so much more, because I can go completely at my own pace, and practicing doesn't feel like such a chore.
