Bass = I started playing bass out of necessity, on and off for about 5 years. I dont have a bass at the moment
Harmonica = 2 years. I got one for Christmas one year. i love it, it's awesome. I have a whole set of different keys now
ukulele = about 2 months. I bought it on a whim. its cool sounding and not that much more difficult to play than guitar
Drums = NEXT. im gonna get an electronic drum kit when i can afford it and learn to play

Harder but so so so much more rewarding =DBocca said:I play bass and wish i could play guitar but those fucking twisted chords are killing me. The sad thing in bass is that its harder to compose interesting music. I also play drums and they are pretty fun too but it has the same problem as bass.
No, I have spent a fair bit of time mixing and DJing, but I wouldn't call it playing an instrument.mokes310 said:Wow, am I the only guy who spins records?
I don't know about that, beat matching is a skill that takes time to learn, let alone mixing itself.scumofsociety said:No, I have spent a fair bit of time mixing and DJing, but I wouldn't call it playing an instrument.mokes310 said:Wow, am I the only guy who spins records?
I tried to learn how to play the guitar when I was about 14 but it was all a bit too much effort. In the end I got a computer with a stack of music programmes and started making hardcore techno instead.
Definitely.... I was lulled into the impression that the cello would be easy when I first saw Yo-Yo Ma playing on television.....Darn that man for false advertising!Actual said:The violin - 5 minutes
