Guitar = 8 years (or so). I play an Epiphone dot and a Fender Telecaster through a Vox AC30cc2

Bass = I started playing bass out of necessity, on and off for about 5 years. I dont have a bass at the moment

Harmonica = 2 years. I got one for Christmas one year. i love it, it's awesome. I have a whole set of different keys now

ukulele = about 2 months. I bought it on a whim. its cool sounding and not that much more difficult to play than guitar

Drums = NEXT. im gonna get an electronic drum kit when i can afford it and learn to play

i can also sing
Are you by any chance Dave Grohl?

Oh, and I play Air Guitar. Going to learn the Bass though.

I play bass and wish i could play guitar but those fucking twisted chords are killing me. The sad thing in bass is that its harder to compose interesting music. I also play drums and they are pretty fun too but it has the same problem as bass.

Wow, am I the only guy who spins records?
No, I have spent a fair bit of time mixing and DJing, but I wouldn't call it playing an instrument.

I tried to learn how to play the guitar when I was about 14 but it was all a bit too much effort. In the end I got a computer with a stack of music programmes and started making hardcore techno instead.

Never had a music lesson & failed arts in general, but have been playing guitar on and off for about 8 years. Smashed up my wrist in an accident a couple of years back , and I'm pretty much back to square one.

Played around on some decks I borrowed from a mate, turns out I'm a natural when it comes to mixing, but couldn't afford the kit.

Looking at picking up either drums or bass after I've finished my masters.

I don't know about that, beat matching is a skill that takes time to learn, let alone mixing itself.

What kind of techno do you make? Hardcore like UK Hardcore, Dutch Hardcore, Hardstyle? Here's the link to my mix if you'd like to have yourself a listen!

The violin - 5 minutes

It looks soo effortless and stylish when Vanessa Mae plays, turns out, it's REALLY hard.

:p

I think I'm a bit twisted, because I thought we were talking instruments of death in games, hmm...

I play the guitar, not well, but I do play it.

Piano and clarinet.

Piano for about 8 years, and clarinet for 4 and a half. I prefer clarinet.

Definitely.... I was lulled into the impression that the cello would be easy when I first saw Yo-Yo Ma playing on television.....Darn that man for false advertising!

(It's so incredibly worth it, though, that I can't not play my cello anymore)

I played the Euphonium in the school band for two years until I quit for the school choir, but I've been singing my whole life.
I'm the best/lowest bass my school has ever gotten, and that's official! I beat the previous "best bass" in a sing-off against him :D

I've also been playing piano for 3 years so far.
