To my immediate right, I have my printer, multi-tool and assorted computer paraphenlia.
Immediately to my left, I have a shield, Germanic bastard sword, kukri, and various other blade-like implements.
In front of me and approximately five paces away (I have to go through a door into the next room) I have a small arsenal of mostly oriental-style blades (And most of those katanas), a sword-breaker, set of nunchaku and most importantly, a qin-do style long-spear (Chinese polearm highly reminiscent of the naginata).
Of these options, all of which can be retrieved in less than five seconds when I'm in a rush, I'll likely grab the bastard sword and Kukri use them to clear a path, if necessary, to the Qin-do, because spears and polearms are just what the doctor ordered in a zombie apocalypse. And then drop the now-obsolete sword. The only thing I'm missing is some sort of forearm guard, but I do hand my leather jacket in the same closet as the qin-do, and it will have to do in an emergency.
If I have even extra time, I have a pair of steel-toed combat boots I can lace up.
Time from danger to full arming and regalia: approximately three point five minuets, assuming only moderate difficulties.
