Well there is nothing of use on my right. I can't use a 37" LCD TV effectively. However I do have a FFXIII sword replica on my left...

A copy of The Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
Nice. Great book.
I've got "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson. Been sitting there for months and I still haven't read it.

To my right? Let me see...

A small plate full of stale bread crumbs.

Huh, that sounds like something you'd randomly find in a videogame..... Crap...

To my left I have more options. A small water bottle, a calender, and an orange cat. Oh, and a window. At least I'll have an escape route.

Now in the drawer in front of me I have two knives. One is a Pakistani knife/dagger, the other is a tiny roman souvenir I use to open letters and cut twine with.

... Damn... Outside of the cat, my surroundings still look like what you'd find in a videogame...
