What would it be?

Basically - you can play one and only one game from here on out. So, if you are gaming, you are playing this game.

For me, it would have to be Diablo 3 or World of Warcraft. While there is lots wrong with both, there is a ton to do, see, and a neverending treadmill of grind to overcome :)

I'm actually going to say that I like Guild Wars 2 enough to go for.

It would need to be something with high replay value so Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity. That or a fully patched X3: Terran Conflict.

Warcraft 3. Plenty of great custom maps out there to change the experience, and I'm experienced enough in map making for it that I can create a fair variety of experiences for myself to enjoy whilst still playing only one game.

Oooh hard choice. I'm tempted to say Halo:Reach because of Forge and Firefight. Then again, TF2 is probably going to live longer than me and get more suppourt >.>. I decide by coin-flip!

Eh, I'd just find a new hobby.

No one game is going to hold my attention for long. I'd be sick to death of it within a week or so.

Heroes of Newerth. Well, I've been playing it every week since it's closed beta launched about four years ago, so I'm sure it can hold my attention.

That is a hard choice. It would be a choice between World of Warcraft or League of Legends. Both have the power to hold my attention for months.

As with the OP I'd go with WoW. I enjoyed it when I did play it, and starting from level 1 would give me a fairly large amount of content to carve through.

I never managed to get into LoL, which is odd because I enjoyed DoTA (if not the DoTA community).

Actually, I may have answered my own question there.

Also...dammit, but I love your avatar :D.

The LoL community is terrible, but I have seen some improvements over the past couple of days, mostly due to the honour system they have there now.

Thanks :D it loves you too!

Minecraft. It has been my main game and my fallback since I bought it two years ago. I enjoy building, and seeing videos on youtube inspires me to build more.

RUNESCAPE!!
Hahaha, no but seriously I'm not a big MMO fan, so for me it would probably be something more like Minecraft.

Zork. The beginning of gaming as far as I'm concerned, so it's appropriate to return to it for the end.
If you managed to play Zork (and retain your sanity) as the one game for the rest of your life then fair play to you! Having played through Zork once I see no replay value in the game, save perhaps to try and get a better score.

For me... possibly something like Sim City, or the Sims or something. I have no strong love for these games but they are the types that I could play endlessly in a sort of switched off kind of way. Failing that, something like TF2 could be a winner, assuming I could play it online of course.

Dwarf Fortress?
That, or the hypothetical love child of Skyrim and Minecraft.

I would want something with variety and replay value. My first two choices would be League of legends or if I can download mods for it Skyrim.

However one of the best choices would probably be a game that I don't even play anymroe.

Garry's mod.

If I can download mods for it then I have a variety of different gamemodes I can play from building to TDM to RP.
