I'm currently playing, and greatly enjoying,

Suikoden: Tierkries (A fun, but unworthy, DS successor to the franchise)
Persona 4 (Probably my favorite RPG of 2008)
Tales of Vesperia (Lots of fun, likeable characters, great battles)
Dragon Quest V (A very fun, but VERY oldschool game)
Valkyria Chronicles (Probably the best PS3 game of 2008 that nobody played)

So that's...what, 5 JRPG's I'm currently playing and enjoying, remarkable isn't it?

Eternal Sonata.
The story was so boring and pretentious (Much like every other JRPG, I find), but I enjoyed the combat system so that kept me playing. Plus I loved the graphics. Clean, bright, and good looking! Great art style in that game.
I skipped most of the cut scenes after watching the first one, though, since they were long...and boring. And I hated the voice overs. Just terrible.

I'm not going to bely you your opinions regarding JRPG stories Mr. Tea, but Eternal Sonata has one of the most overly sappy and insipid stories in JRPG's. Thankfully extremely pretty graphics, music and a good battle system helped it a lot.

Legia 2 with infinite accessory code it was a fcking riot.

FF12 can not be saved with cheat devices....Dragon quest 8 was not very fun and kinda bland.....

Most Jrpgs are generic and bland with tried and genetic equipment and game play that and small cramped and sad level design just makes them unfun to play.

I can say as much for English games like the Witcher and Mass effect tho ME had a nice equipment system....

The last JRPG I've played was Persona 3 and that was months ago. Ok I played through Nocturne and the DDS games again but those don't count.

I need to get Persona 4.

Persona 4 I have to get back to. One of several that I've been working on. Currently I bought the first Suikoden on PSN and am playing it again. Also playing Chrono Trigger from my Anthology pack. And I still have Saiyuki's last chapter to get through.

Considering I've seen at least a few dozen people vote Valkyria Chronicles, I wouldn't say nobody played it. It won't be a big hit like Final Fantasy, but that's what you get when you don't advertise (Really Sega, WTF!). That plus Disgaea 3 are my PS3 JRPGs I'm working on.

All of these I've played in the last month, and enjoying every one.

I'm a JRPG fan (with not many JRPGs, but hey, I'm catching up), and I last played Persona 3. I absolutely loved it. Persona 4's on its way to me (thank you, Amazon), and if it really is as good as it's said to be, it'll probably be my favourite game of all time, ever.

Tales of Vesperia. I've always loved the Tales series (Except for the sequel to Symphonia!), so I went into Vesperia with high expectations. Completely shattered them; one of the best games I've played. The voice acting was great, the combat system was slick, the graphics were perfect, the story was really fun to follow along. . . I loved it from start to finish.

Chrono Trigger and Tales of Vesperia, I enjoy the genre more than my friends. I've been playing SO4, it's good but nothing great.

It would have to say Grandia ( the first one) on the PS1. Although the graphics are not that good, it has beauitful music and a well writen storyline and charactors.

Last one was Blue Dragon. I've done the first two discs, I've just got the last one to go. It's really good in my opinion.
