I'll pay if they bring it to me, and gladly too. I just can't justify the practice of owning multiple platforms for different games. Especially when I woul have no cross usage with different consoles and different games.

I disapprove of the practice of exclusives when porting issues aren't involved. And really only for major gaming publishers where we know it was a calculated marketing scheme to fleece us all.

Being that Bioshock Infinite blew the doors off of everyone except the most hardcore of contrarian irony-addicts in the online gaming media scene, this may be a monument year for gaming as a medium.

Yes, because i will TOTALLY trust the game "journalists" to provide objective criticism every.single.time there is a new 11/10 Game of the Year all Years Forever and Ever, right?

I don't like Uncharted. I think they embody everything terrible about modern game design. I also don't like what I've seen of The Last of Us.

However, I understand that the things I look for in a game aren't the same things everyone looks for. I love the Souls and Metroid games, and I've seen people who positively hate those titles because they didn't get the same positive experience I got from the games. At the same time, I don't think I would get the same positive experience from playing Uncharted 2 that all the big fans did.

Different games are made to appeal to different audiences. Not every game needs to appeal to everyone, and while I will criticize a game and whale on it for having the things I believe to be flaws, I understand how other people could instead see strengths.

It seems like it's impossible to avoid people complaining about how reviews are unhelpful or contrary to their own experience. They are an opinion piece on a game followed by a rating and are largely meant to increase awareness. The best someone can do is find a reviewer with similar tastes to them and follow their reviews.

Don't you know that all reviewers are complete idiots who have no clue what they're talking about? *insert personal opinion here* means more! (Though GTA 4 reviews are highly questionable)
