Tales of the abyss for the 3ds (was really hard to find a place that sold it but i am hooked).
Still dislike namco bandai for not releasing more tales games in the west

The Witcher 2, or Human Revolution if we're counting it.

Both are excellent.

Tales of the Abyss. I refused to pay £80-£100 from resellers who snapped up all the 3ds copies so i went and got an imported ps2 version.

It's a bit button-mashy but highly entertaining, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the occasional JRPG.

I have a FF9 and FF8 save going right now, that I have been neglecting.

I have really been thinking on buying Bastion for something to play after Skyrim and before ME3 is released, good game anyone?

I recently started Demon's Souls again, been meaning to get around to completing it. Not sure how I'll choose between them when I get access to Skyrim again.

Either WoW or Oblivion (depending on if you count MMORPGs).

I was playing Oblivion prior to Skyrim in order to get a good sense of the difference. (Oblivion was nearly-entirely vanilla. No gameplay altering or graphics enhancing mods. Only Darknified and unofficial patches.)

Was pretty fun, after a while though my mage got pretty sick. Greater staff of Lightning (80 pts of damage in 5 ft) + Soul Rip spell (Soul trap + drain health 100 pts) was ridiculously effective.

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy 13 again, never got around to finishing it, so I'm having a go at it now.
And a little while ago I finished NIER, not a bad storyline..

SW:TOR :D - Loving every moment of it.

Otherwise, other than Skyrim? This year I have mostly been playing Oblivion, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Dragon Age 1 & 2 and the original KOTOR (a little bit, the "get stuck after doing melee" bug is so annoying).

By being an anti-Skyrim thread, this still kind of is a Skyrim thread...

Does Human Revolution count? If not, then the answer is Dragon Age 2 (disappointing on some levels, but ultimately enjoyable).

If MMORPG's count then a cheeky of bit of Guild Wars last night, just ran about buying and trading minipets to get some I hadn't already dedicated to my Hall of Monuments, rocking some extra points for Guild Wars 2.

Other than that Terraria? Creative sandbox crossed with an RPG I guess, spent a good 50 hours on it recently. Getting up to hallowed gear and crafting a megashark was so addictive. Although no I don't know what to do since I can solo even the hardmode bosses.

I have been playing through Valkyria Chronicles again as I love that game. I have also been playing Skyward Sword (even though its more of a platformer) and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn in little bits too.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

It's fun enough, I don't find that stealth works as well as it could so I more or less went for the straight up soldier build with a minor in Hacking.
I sucked so badly at the stealth element of this game that it basically equated to me hiding under a table shooting anyone that came close with my stun gun. Which happened a lot as the guards tend to go "hey, there's someone down here" and instead of running away they go and check out their downed buddy. And got a surprise for their effort until there was just a huge pile of unconscious guards on the floor. One of the funny sides of a great game.

Bastion is an excellent game, a little short perhaps but tons of fun (and with DLC on the way).
