"good to see you up in time for the party." Matridom said as she lifted the rocks into the air with telekinesis and started to build up ice in her chest in case it went sour. "unless Grimm's shadows absorb light these things are so black i cant see them with my eyes."

"Strife, that's your name right?" Grimm answered "I've already been torn apart"

Grimm made his way closer to the two silhouettes, his strides hampered by the wounds on his legs. Grimm encased one of his arms in the shadows creating the clawed gauntlet he'd used for his previous battles, just in case he was mistaken.

In here, if they so much as -tried - to attack me they would be doomed.

The Enemy looked into the darkness. "You don't know the password? How can we be sure you're on our side?" she said, trying to bluff the mysterious figure in the cave.

Garkar also stood facing the direction the others were. They kept calling into the darkness rather then charging so they must know something he didn't. Some would disagree only because they didn't understand, but he was not an idiot.

"Ah, Grimm was it? Nice to see you again, what happened to Variava? Did the snake get him too?" Strife asked, remaining seated and looking over to see Grimm walking through the darkness with a clawed gauntlet on one of his arms. Strife smiled and motioned for him to come over to where he and Ramba were seated.

"Come, we have water for you and we're going to rest here until everyone catches back up."

Grimm was now close enough to make out the features on his two companions faces. Strife motioned him to sit and wait for the rest of their group to join them.

"I'm not sure what happened to Variava, the monster you promptly sliced in half fired some green goo at his leg and he was unable to move. I'm assuming it was the same venom that immobilised me." Grimm said answering Strife.

"I made my way to the cave but it took a lot of effort" Grimm motioned to the wounds on his legs.

Grimm glanced over his body, his scars that ran from the base of his neck downwards were bare to see. Grimm disliked looking at them, with their visage came terrible memories.

Grimm relaxed next to the stream with Strife and Ramba. He was considering trying to engage in conversation with the man who generated light at will. But he had tried twice before and he thought surely this time would yield the same silent result.

Ramba had been silent since had sat down in the alcove, watching in interest when Grimm arrived. But still he did not speak. When the group had finally settled down into the alcove and waited for the others, though, he noticed that Grimm glanced at him and quickly looked away several times. He was obviously meaning to tell him something, though he wouldn't know what that was.

"Speak, Grimm, if that's what you intend. We have nothing but time for that sort of thing right now."

Grimm, despite his intentions could not bury his curiosity of the man sitting with him in the cave. Much to his surprise the man had noticed Grimm's passing glances and requested him to speak his mind.

"Very well, Ever since witnessing your power, just after the defeat of the hydra, It has caught my attention. It seems to function very similar to my own but utilizes the light. This has raised a few question's that I hope you could answer."

Grimm looked to the darkness of the cave floor and called the shadow to rise like a pillar, much like they one that pierced the hydra's tail only much smaller.

"First off, would you're light hamper my abilities like natural light sources?" Grimm paused for a moment trying to come up with a way to encapsulate his next question in the right words.

"And Is your light alive?"

"I've had enough of this charade" the voice said, immedietly afterwards the mountain began to shake again.Another cave revealed itself to us, where strong light sources came from.
After a few moments of blindness we saw what we were about to face.
Large insectoid creatures, scorpion-like beasts with a string light coming from their sting (end of tail). Five of them began swarming the cavern, running towards us with their six feet.

Fight segment.
I allow SOME auto-hit. I don't want you to tear them to pieces, and beware of their tail. Go ranged or try to catch it with something you don't mind loosing.
So you can hit, but I declare deaths, unless you do tear them apart like SOME people.
They have posison in their systems, it doesn't work on Lorronix, they can insert it via their sting. They also have sharp claws, so beware!
Remember - Five enemies.

Matridom shot all of the rocks at a the beast, only on hit but it went clean through the body. Though it only seemed to anger the beast more, she then launched ice at the ground in-front of her, creating a wall of ice blocking the beast from her, or so she though with a giant crash the bast tumbled through the wall. on split second thinking she grabbed the tail and swung the beast into the wall, it lost the middle leg on its right side but still continued to charge her. "these thing don't give up, help anyone?" as she was distracted trying to get help the beast rammed her into a wall. "Damn thing, i broke a wing. i'm out." she then covered herself in an ice cocoon to avoid anymore damage.

Ramba listened closely to Grimm's questions, and when he was finished nodded slowly. He took a sip of the water from behind him before he spoke.

"I can't saw I would know for sure. My light does cast light of its own, to be sure. But I would hardly call it natural; it may have a different effect on your shadows than other light. Or it may have none at all. As I said I cannot say for certain. I'd be glad to test the theory later, but right now I am still gathering my strength."

He thought long and hard about the second question, before he nodded to himself in apparent decision on a suitable answer. "The light that I use is a gift from the god of the sun. It is warm, and it brings life to other things. But it is not alive itself. Or if it is, it does not talk much."

The Enemy formed a thin layer of armor as the insectoids poured out. She set her figurative sights on one of them, making a large club, figuring it would do more damage. She stared it down, waiting for it to make teh first move.

Eve looked at the dark battlefield, illuminated by the stings of her foes.
She spotted Matridom Encase herself in Ice to protect herself, and Tamu fight against a giant scorpion. The moved its pincers at Tamu, but tshe fended them off with her club.
Eve extended he blade and slowly walked towards the scorpion fighting Tamu. They won't aproach me... Eve thought to herself as she sneaked towards the scorpion. With a quick slash, Eve cut off the tail of the scorpion and grabbed it with her left hand.
"It's also a torch" Eve said with a smile.

Could you get poisoned on purpose? You could be a human flashlight with the light producing toxin, and since you're immune to natural poisons it won't kill you!
It could be awesome.

after adam got used to his new way of seeing the world he got ready with his spear to fight one of these creatures, he held his spear firmly in his hands, every time the scorpion creature tried to get close enough to attack Adam stabbed his spear forward, the scorpion moved back quickly enough not to be hit by the spear but the spear stops it form getting within stinging distance.

Adam wished he could do a a witty remark but he need to keep on screeching in order to see his surroundings.

"Thank you" Grimm complimented his thanks with an innocent smile.

"But I have one last question ... Where I was from, The light was held as a symbol of evil. I had no doubt that belief, much like our others, was nothing but folly."

Grimm allowed a pause to place more importance on the second part of his question.

"But you, You say that your powers of light are a gift from god. What does your religion say of the Darkness?"
