It's gotta be either Doom3 or Metro 2033. Don't think I've done any other in one actual sitting before.
I take whatever chances I get to warm-up playing drums for a bit when there's nobody asleep in this house for a change, and then going back to gaming.

I have never beaten a game in one sitting, aside from StarFox 64.

Just something I can't do unless its a really short game (ala Starfox)

Well.. I've played a few games in one sitting, but doing a speed run doesn't take too long on them. The Resident Evil remake on gamecube and the MGS series. I had my friend play all of Heavy Rain in one sitting, which was about 8 hours. I also may have beaten Shadow of the Colossus in one sitting with a friend one day, but I think there was at least a short break in there somewhere. Also some of my friends from high school had at least one race through FFIX (as in racing each other), but that wasn't me.

My living arrangements (aka living at home) do not work well for very extended play sessions at the moment.

I don't understand how people can sit playing a single game for countless hours at a time, I could do it occasionally when I was like 8-14 but I have never finished any game in a single sitting that wasn't at most an hour to 2 hours long. So the only one I can remember right now is After Burner Climax since its only like a 20 minute game.

Probally Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire back in '06, took around 8-10+ hours from the beginning to defeating the elite four, though Kirby Super Star Ultra was sort of close with 6 hours.

Uncharted 2. Me and 2 friends all got it on the midnight release and with 3 PS3's and 3 TVs we raced to see who could beat it first. I started out strong, but fumbled near the end to take a distant 2nd (Suicide Drake screwed me over, but at least I have the comfort of losing to someone who got the platinum on Uncharted 1).

I, with four friends, did a complete playthrough of Tales of Symphonia in one sitting. Not a speed run or anything either. Just a long ass play day. It was a 45 hour game. Our fifth person (for anyone not aware, its a four player game) would rotate in and out when people wanted to rest. I went the longest playing with around 38 or so hours.

Great day. I wanna do it again. I love marathons.

And once, alone, I beat Condemned 2 in one day, taking only a five minute break after the bear. I just had to let my heartbeat regulate again.

I haven't beaten a game in one sitting since the NES and Genesis days, when games weren't designed with save points to be longer.

I'd probably have to say that I can't remember, because it's been so long.

I do know my shortest two though.

Donkey Kong Country 1 I finished 4 times in 1 day. AWW YEAH, lol not that much of an accomplishment, I was trying to beat the game in less than an hour, 1st run was 1 hour 12 min, then 1 hour 13 min, 1 hour 2 min (this one really pissed me off) and finally 56 mins for the forth one.

Probably Secret of Mana, co-op with three players. That was a good (and rather long) day.

I applaud you on that one, thats a long ass game, but then again I do tend to over level my magic, weapons and characters to a near unbeatable level every time I play.
I did finish it in a week, a few hours with co-op but mostly without
